Excellent bed and comfortable room.

Negative point was that the soap dispenser in the bathroom hadn't been refilled, meaning we had to reach into the shower and use body wash to wash our hands. £19 for a buffet breakfast (per person) is way over-priced. We went elsewhere. I wasn't informed of the £10 per night parking charge until after I'd confirmed my booking.

The hotel is lovely. Car park isn't massive, but we were lucky enough to get a space. Great WiFi.

The location is really bad and let's the hotel down. We were looking for somewhere to have food with a 3 year old in tow. Didn't want to move the car in case we couldn't park upon return. The bit of the town centre we were closest too wasn't great. No obvious places to eat an evening meal. A few intimidating groups of people. Not the hotels fault,but would put me off of returning.

Great location, lovely room (with a view). immaculately clean. Quality bathroom products, too. Nice restaurant (Mr Pierre-White) with lovely quality food. Superb breakfast, beautifully cooked and a good range of choices. Room was very quiet so seemed to be built well. No intrusive noise. Plenty of parking space available. Would stay again.

Bar closed early so unable to get a drink beyond 10:30, but that may have been due to demand. it was quiet. it wasn't immediately apparent that the old Aldi car park in fact belonged to the hotel and that there is an additional £10 per day charge when u check in. NCP just down the road was MUCH cheaper per 24 hrs. Room may be considered on the small side compared to some

Friendly helpful bar and restaurant staff. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast providing all the elements of full english that is my normal expectation and want - juice, cereal, "full english", cold cuts and cheese and fresh bread. Room was as expected of Mercure reuptation. Didn't try the restaurant but I would expect it to be up to standard. The bathroom was also up to standard but it is obvious that some investigation of the shower design in relation to the setting means that, in the not too distant future, there will be need to replace the bathroom door and door columns as there is significant evidence of water damage to due to unprotected splashing from the shower spray on the lower parts of the said door and column. Very central hotel location.

That parking was excellent and ample but was not free for hotel guests.

Staff were totally professional, welcoming and friendly. Check-in completed in seconds, everything done without a fuss. The lady at breakfast (guessing she came from Eastern Europe) was charming and funny. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Great room which was spotless, a good size and effective air-con. Location is ideal for the station and central Bridgwater. Thought the idea of earning points if you didn't want your room cleaned was good.

Nothing. My second stay at this hotel and I will definitely book again when I'm in Bridgwater.

On arrival, the hotel can look a little underwhelming - especially with its location on an industrial estate. However, walking inside tells a different story. Really lovely modern interior, relaxed reception and friendly, efficient staff. I even got the breakfast timings wrong, arrived 10 mins after closing but was accommodated by the staff and chef. Rooms are really clean, powerful showers and comfy bed.

The pillows were a little soft and lacked support.

The room was clean. As it was my wife’s birthday I requested the hotel staff if they would be able to provide some decoration for our room upon arrival. My wife was absolutely blown away, and I can’t thank the staff enough. They provided her with gifts/balloons/ cake/flowers, and the organising was all done by the hotel. Thanks a million!

There was plenty of parking available, however it was quite expensive and the majority of parking available was on a public carpark.

Parking was Easy , There were 8 of us in total in 4 rooms , Our room was excellent Suite with a balcony , there was a lovely little cake and fruit board waiting for us as it was our Anniversary and Our grown up children had asked if the Hotel could do anything , it was a lovely surprise and set the tone for the weekend , as the hotel and staff did not disappoint. The Quality of the rooms and the Overall Hotel was excellent i could not find any fault with them at all. We ate at the Hotel and the Food was excellent

We chose this hotel as we were attending the Bridgwater Guy Fawkes carnival , the hotel was ideally situated for our stay

We didn’t get our room cleaned as requested during our stay but it was obviously an oversight and didn’t detract from our stay , we did however have to ask a couple of times for extra refreshments as it wasn’t replenished due to lack of housekeeping but the reception staff were helpful in sourcing us extra tea, coffee and sugar , milk

The hotel was lovely and the staff were amazing. They made myself and pippa so welcome and couldn't do enough to make our trip so good. I have never stayed in a hotel on my own without my husband, and pippa has never stayed in a hotel, so we were quite nervous. It was a wonderful experience and the room was lovely. Oh my goodness, the shower was lush.

I really wish I could have come down to the bar with pippa to eat tea and breakfast. It was so nice downstairs and the staff were so nice. It would have been nice to see people. I also didn't feel that safe going outside the hotel on my own, but that wasn't a big thing as we stayed in our room
