I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Elite in Bologna! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt warmly welcomed by the incredible staff. A special thank you to the gentleman at reception who went above and beyond to make my visit unforgettable – his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The breakfast was nothing short of amazing – a delicious spread that catered to all tastes. The fresh pastries, savory options, and, of course, the coffee were simply divine. I started each day with a perfect cappuccino, and it was honestly some of the best coffee I’ve had in Italy! The entire team at the hotel was outstanding. Everyone I encountered, from housekeeping to the restaurant staff, was friendly, helpful, and made me feel at home. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every detail. The hotel's charm, cleanliness, and central location only added to the experience. I can’t wait to return to Bologna and stay at the Grand Hotel Elite again. Grazie mille to the whole team for making my stay so special!

Everything was perfect

A very beautiful room in the style of the 80's! We really liked the price/quality relation, size of the room and hotel's location. The bus stop is 3 minutes from the hotel and there's really nice bar/restaurant street in a 15 minutes walk from the hotel too. There's also a good self-service laundry just around the corner. Looking forward to booking that same hotel for my next trip to Bologna

The air conditioning system is probably old so you can hear it work at night, but it's not too disturbing. The water-pressure is also a bit poor, can be improved. Everything else really exceeded all expectations, thank you!

The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff at the reception were incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming – they truly made a great impression. The room was clean and cozy, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing.

The elevator was quite small, which made it a bit inconvenient, especially with luggage.

The place was magical, not a super modern facility but has a nice vibe and a great location very close to the center. The room was very spacious, and the staff were very nice. The receptionist Edoardo was very friendly and helped us with information about the city. Great value for money I will go back when I am in Bologna

The room was big and clean, big bathroom, many towels, there was air conditioning. The hotel is easy to find, there is a bus stop not far from it. Airport is in 20 minutes from the hotel.

The air conditioning system was pretty loud, so we should turn it off at night to be able to sleep.

Great location. Build to be a real hotel in its time. It is old, but well preserved. Room was really big and comfortable.

Appereance is a bit shady and does not justify the acctual value of a place. Small touch in dressing the place is needed to refresh it.

The hotel is furnished in a bit old style, but I liked it. The staff was busy with polishing and keeping everything clean..

It is probably outdated and not fully up to the today standards, the beautifully decorated rooms, bar and diner room all show the glory days of this place are gone but it is a hidden gem !! Enjoyed it, and it is a big recommendation for your stay in Bologna

The atmosphere was great. And a fabulous breakfast.I look for value in everything I buy or spend money on. It was a great decision to stay there

The way the lights worked was a little odd. But I'm old..and new tech irritates me

Very friendly staff, spacious room, big bathroom, great value for money. The hotel is about 15 min walking from the old town, there is also a supermarket 2 min away. Overall very good.
