The room was modern, elegant, spacious and had many unusual features. The breakfast was exceptional and staff there was very nice.

There was no help at all with the luggage. We had two heavy suitcases and several bags and even so the receptionist could see we struggled carrying everythin down and up the stairs to the elevator, she did not call anyone to assist us.

Breakfast was wonderful especially because of the personalized waitress service for a particular drink of coffee or a specialized way to have your eggs. And this was in tandem with a self serve area with good choice of breakfast foods. Location very good at the square. "Room with a view".

The way the room lights work. If room key card not up close to sensor room lights either shut off soon or flicker or don't work at all Had to report issue with lights 3 times before maintenance person explained that card, not only had to be in holder but needed to be up close to sensor

We loved everything about this hotel, from the superb central location with underground parking to the sumptuous, enormous bedroom / suite and delicious breakfast with outdoor seating option. Staff were also super friendly and helpful. Cannot fault this place. Absolutely A*****.

Didn't like dragging our luggage up and down stairs both from garage-lift to reception and from reception to room lift and then more stairs on the room floor. Very poor arrangement.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Rooms spacious and comfortable, and an excellent breakfast with very friendly wait-staff!

We liked everything, really. Only two nits would be that the front desk staff could be a little more experienced and knowledgeable about transportation to things to do in town, and in particular transportation to airport. Second is that there are quite a few stairs that need to be climbed with heavy baggage (very typical for Italy, though).

I couldn't recommend more this hotel! Impeccable hospitality, it really is difficult to find any flaws. The room was beautiful and with a very high attention to detail. Each room of the hotel is dedicated to a contemporary artist, so each one has works of art of a particular artist; what a wonderful idea! In every step inside the room you can see the attention to the guest. Very confortable mattress and pillow, big size room, wonderful parquet and linen, nice toiletries of a brand with natural ingredients, white marble bathroom, very clean room, different choices for the lights just beside bed, real fluffy sleepers and kettle for coffee and tea. I had a view to the central square of the city center and the hotel is just so close to all the major attractions of the city. The breakfast was excellent and the staff so very welcome and kind. Overall, one of the best stays I have ever had, my most sincere compliments to all the staff!

The hotel is central and serves well my travel objectivites. The city centre garage (1st basement) is directly connected to the hotel lobby, what is very convenient.

The breakfast could have been better. The Walther Platz is currently undergoing a major project, which, for the time being, makes the city centre a bit dusty and less nice to walk. By the end of 2025 the Walther Platz should offer a much better experience for tourists with the new city development concluded.

Location - on central square of the old town but also 5-10 mins walk to train and bus stations. Very big room, felt more like a suite than regular hotel room (i just moved to a different place and hotel and i’m writing this from a room which is smaller than a bathroom i had in Greif…). Good breakfast, at first it looks rather basic but you can order many things like eggs or toasts from the staff and they will bring them fresh.

Location . Nice room. Nice staff. Comfortable beds. Windows kept out 90 % of noise from the plaza.AC was perfect

We had a room on Plaza Walter. If the AC had not been working it would have been tough to sleep. While the noise of the restaurants died down by 11PM. there was a huge street light right outside our window. If we had to keep the window open for air the street lamp would have made the room as bright as day. While we were not bothered by this someone else could be if the AC was not operating. So this comment is not a complaint just a note for future visitors. We really enjoyed our stay. You may not want a room on the plaza if you need dark to sleep

Third time staying. Only place I could ever describe as being a "I will change my plans to ensure I can stay there again" hotel. I feel at home the moment I arrive. Friendly relaxed staff who are super cool with you as you find yourself transported into the Südtirolean hinterland where you can't quite lock into a language to speak... "Verrei... Bitte?" "Toll! Grazie!" ;) Whatever you need, they'll be a thought ahead of you. Breakfast puts many other hotels in the same price bracket and claimed stars to shame. You are instantly relaxed the moment you enter the building. With dampened carpets and efficient soundproofing you won't worry that the climate control is too quiet to provide the white noise you, as a light sleeper, might want to get you off in peace. Because the rooms are so well isolated. Greif is everything I could ask for in a hotel stay. Genuinely exceptional.

Everything was superb at this hotel. Make sure you ask the keys for the sauna room to relax after a day exploring the town.

The hotel is not made for people with walking difficulties. The parking garage is underneath the hotel and you have to talk though alleys and stairs to get to the hotel. The room floor is also not flat. There are stairs from the elevator to the rooms.
