Everything you could ask for in a boutique hotel, the interior design throughout the hotel was impressive, especially in an old building, perfect location in the old town of Bolzano. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in Europe. Be aware of multiple stairs, but that did not bother us. Highly Recommend.

Goldstern Townhouse is one of those places that just makes you feel good from the moment you arrive. Super friendly staff and welcoming. Breakfast hits the spot...great options, fresh, and definitely a solid way to start the day. But The restaurant associated with the hotel was excellent. Hotel has a decor that is totally unique, stylish, and full of personality. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, making the space feel special and inviting. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Bolzano, this one’s a winner. Great vibes, perfect location, awesome food, and an atmosphere that sticks with you. Definitely worth checking out!

The staff were incredible. The Flix bus drops you at the Bolzano Sud station which is no where near the main station and there were no taxis around in the early evening. I could have taken the train to the next station, but was unfamiliar with the metro system so when I called the hotel, they called me a taxi. That was just the beginnng of a great experience that included allowing me a late check out with no charge due to a rainy day departure. Breakfast was really good, the building is so interesting architecturally and very well decorated, and the location is great.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Bolzano, with everything you need just a minute's walk away. It beautifully combines a modern, stylish interior with the charm and soul of the original, renovated building. Traveling with our 4-month-old baby, we were delighted by the excellent facilities and thoughtful accommodations provided. The only challenge is the lack of a lift, as the building’s historic design doesn’t allow for one, requiring everything to be carried by hand (the hotel staff did so). Despite this, the experience was exceptional, and the staff’s attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast selection is somewhat limited and lacks variety.

Everything was exceptional. Absolutely loved our stay. The historic building is magnificent, breakfast was superb, delicious and beautifully laid out. Possibly the nicest breakfast we have experienced at a hotel. The location is top notch in the heart of the historical centre within easy walking distance from the station and the staff were amazing. There are lots of tucked away common areas to sit and relax. Great wine bar right opposite.

We loved climbing the stairs in this beautiful historic building but if climbing stairs are a challenge for you accessing rooms may be difficult. Not a negative at all for us as the stairs are part of the charm of this fantastic building.

The nicest place I have ever stayed in Bolzano! Older building redone in modern style but retaining characteristics of the past. Super cool decor. Extremely helpful and courteous staff, both at check-in and breakfast. They really go out of their way to accommodate your specific travel needs. Easy walk to station. Huge breakfast buffet with local specialties. Discount at attached boutique. Large shower. Hope to return soon!

At 21.5, the room was a bit warm for me, and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the thermostat. If you aren't in great shape, ask for a room accessible via the lift rather than stairs.

Our room felt a bit crowded for a family with teenage kids, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience.

The building is stunning, very special. Lots of little, beautiful sitting areas with comfy armchairs and plants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and very delicious. The location is fabulous: you step out of the door and are in the middle of the old city center of Bolzano. We would have loved to stay longer.

The whole place is tasteful, unique in its design, wood-beamed ceilings and frescoes in places. It’s charming and well located near restaurants and shopping, e.g., the Portici. The staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was an inviting, well presented buffet—there was almost everything you’d want and expect. I was moved to an interior apartment, meaning it did not face either street; it offered privacy and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay. I tend to be frugal, but I didn’t mind spending extra here.
