nice design, great location. old building that was renovated, breakfast and coffee was tasty.

some staff members (waiters at pools and Luna bar) were not very friendly. Not enough sunbeds at the pool and needed to wait to get a towel (the pool is also not big for the sice of the hotel). Our room was ok, but some rooms had a tiny bathroom with shower curtains. AC in the room was super old and loud. not sure if the lift was a vibe or not appropriated for a hotel in this price category. Parking was super expensive, even with the 50% discount voucher and most places were too small if you don‘t have a tiny car.

The courtyard was exceptional. Set back from the road, green, and lush, it was a pleasant location to enjoy a glass of local wine.

Some areas inside were large and hollow, without art or decor. Maybe that is part of its history, but it felt a little sterile.

The hotel is in a very central location with a very nice pool and sauna. The room had beautiful views. The hotel was aesthetically very pleasing and the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator and safe in the room a plus. Sauna and Pool were definitely highlights of the stay along with the beautiful views, nice bed, and extremely convenient location (only a 7 min walk to the train station).

Facilities were a bit rickety. Sauna area had broken door handles and towels were piled up extremely high. Rooms are not totally sound proof- could hear a lot of hall traffic through the door. Our bathroom faucet jiggled quite a bit. Warning about yoga classes! They are NOT free and some of them are not actually yoga. I was highly disappointed when I went to a class that had 0 movement and I was left lying on the floor for 45 minutes.

This was our first time in Bolzano and we loved the city. Parkhotel Mondschein was the perfect choice. Its location in the historical center made it easy to navigate the city. The hotel is reminiscent of a bygone era. Although it’s dated the accommodations are wonderful . Our room was large , bright, extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the bar, both indoors and out ,with coffee in the AM and an aperitivo in the late afternoon . This added to the hotel’s charm. The staff are remarkably friendly and welcoming. The attached parking garage is very convenient .The only issue we found was initially locating the hotel by car. Our GPS kept wanting to bring us into ZLT zones . We finally called the hotel and were instructed to use the garage as our destination not the hotel. We just wish we had known that sooner.

The whole vibe of the hotel - the decor and design, the amazing pool and lush greenery outside made it feel like an oasis. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and even the croissants at the bar were some of the best we’d had (as well as the coffee).

The only criticism is that the two pillows in my room were both extremely flat (barely any stuffing at all) but I received a new pillow with a bit more stuffing. The hotel might want to purchase some other pillows to have available (ie not the German-style large squares but regular rectangular pillows) as my husband was unable to get an alternative pillow. This is the only piece of feedback I have - everything else was genuinely amazing.

The location is excellent! Great look, good vibe, kids friendly. The outdoor pool was good, and drinks were brought to the pool. The sauna was new and clean. For me, one of the most important things is the bathroom in the room. It was new and clean - just how I like it.

Well, we booked a small double room. And was really, really, really small. But that's what we booked, so I don't blame anyone. You shouldn't book it if you don't like kids - they might occupy the pool. The fitness room is okay, I would have wished for more equipment.

Unfortunately, our experience with the restaurant staff really let the stay down. We weren’t aware that dinner reservations were required and were met with a very abrupt and rude response when we arrived. Instead of a polite explanation or offering an alternative (like a drink in the bar or help booking for another time), we were scowled at and made to feel foolish. A little courtesy would have gone a long way.

We had a short but enjoyable stay at Parkhotel Mondschein. The hotel is in the very centre of Bolzano, in its own park, with an outdoor swimming pool and a cool pool bar. Parkhotel Mondschein features cool and clean design, with a touch of retro. Our room was spacious, with super high ceilings. Breakfast choice is great - both the buffet and a la carte - and the quality of food is top notch.

Hotel parking is not for the faint-hearted - people park in a random manner and passages are too narrow - so better travel in a smaller car

Hotel was a design hotel, with pool and sauna. Good location and feeling.

Room was very small for that price (2 nights/415 e incl. Booking.com discount). Unfortunatelly expected a bit more. Ps. We have spent two to three nights in Munich, Innsbruk, Bolzano and Verona (July/august). Also in July Luxemburg. I have noticed that we have got very small rooms And bad scenary even rooms have been not cheapest And some even very expencive. I wonder why? Do hotels give bad rooms to Booking.com customers or why??
