Nice breakfast buffet offered from 7 am to 10 am. Location is not bad, walkable distance (~10 min) to the train station or city center. The hotel participates in the Bolzano Card program which is very convenient for tourists who stay in the Süd Tyrol region. The garden and pool area was very pretty.

No coffee machine in the room. The cleaning crew threw away some of our stuff… And rearranged everything. We had to put up Do Not Disturb for the last few days of our stay. (Context: We’re from northern Europe so would really appreciate more boundaries and respect for our property.) SUUUUUPER SLOOOOOWWWWWW ELEVATORS!!! Shower doors were worn out; it leaked every time.

The hotel is in a perfect position and within easy walk to the train station, bus station, cablecar and all the restaurants and shops in Bolzano. I felt really safe as a solo female traveller, and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was amazing with freshly cooked eggs and omelettes as well as every type of cereal, fruit, bread, cold meats, cheese and cakes. The pool area is very relaxing and beautifully maintained. I used the hotel as a base to go to and from a 4 day trek in the Dolomites and they stored my bags for free while I was trekking. It was lovely coming back to the hotel after the trek for some R&R! Can’t recommend this hotel more!

Very thoughtfully designed and with high quality finishes. The beds are excellent and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near all the major sights of Bolzano. As a bonus, we could see the Ritten cable car from our balcony! Hotel staff was kind and made room for us in the hotel restaurant for dinner on the first night of our stay. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and gave us a great start each day.

Value for money could be a bit better. The price is rather high, but I booked with eyes open knowing we would be jet lagged on arrival and wanting to ensure a comfortable stay.

This old hotel has been cleverly extended and modernised without destroying it's old world exterior. We had a room in the new block which was immaculately presented and which had a large balcony overlooking the garden and wooded mountainside. We enjoyed a peaceful stay in a lovely room. Breakfast was ample. Front desk staff were helpful.

It's worth bearing in mind that the hotel is a little way out of the centre of town - restaurants and other facilities are a 15 minute walk away. Not a major problem for most people but may be a bit difficult if you have any mobility issues.

This was a really nice, smart and well managed hotel. It is quickly reached from the train station (no more than 10 minutes walk) and is around 10 minutes walk into the old town. The cable car is a few minutes walk too which takes you on an amazing journey up to a lovely town and past some awesome views of the Dolomites. The lobby is a very good size and the staff were all really cheerful and helpful. They offer you for free a city pass that gives you free bus and train travel in the province and also a free trip up the cable car so it is a really good thing to have (it seems all hotels offer this). My room was a good size if a little plain, and it was really quiet. There was complimentary water and a room safe. The bathroom was a very good size with a nice big shower. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of nice food and hot food is offered too. I didn't use the pool but it is a nice big one in a pleasant large and sunny garden at the rear. Although the hotel is a touch expensive it still offers great value for money and provides an excellent stay. Highly recommended!

All really good except I could not get on with the bed! It was too soft like a great lump of foam and if you got too near the edge it felt like you would roll out.

Great facilities. The pool was fantastic, the room was clean , large and had all we needed . Every room has robes , slippers, sauna has plenty of towels. Good gym.

The breakfast was average . The main issue was the service was a bit chaotic, and lacked consistency. However the real issue with the hotel that stops it from being amazing was the staff. They were bad and there were some exceptions, but mostly they weren’t that friendly, not rude but certainly not very friendly. It’s a real pity because everything about the hotel was excellent. Yet sadly most the staff didn’t match the quality of the hotel. For me just giving a bit more, being more personal would make all the difference. Not enough smiles for me. It would be the reason I would try somewhere else next time in Bolzano and certainly not the hotel itself. Pity because I loved the hotel. We were a party of seven and we all had felt the same.

Staff were friendly, room was spacious, comfortable, clean, breakfast was quite good, and the hotel was located an easy walk to the town centre. We were given a complementary public transport pass, which was a bonus as the funivia (cable car) was just around the corner. A quick trip to Oberbozen followed by a train trip to the side valley was a great introduction to Bolzano.

Parking instructions on info page could have been better. Free parking is adjacent the hotel and paid parking is also available but opposite the hotel in an underground carpark. We only saw a sign for the latter when driving in so accidentally took that option.

A great hotel. Well located, rooms are clean and modern. And staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a decent selection of cereals, bread, fruits, cakes,...etc. The warm options are limited(Egg Omelette). Hotel offers a complimentary Bolzano Card, which can be used for public transport, cable cars, and more throughout Bolzano.

The male receptionist was quite rude, but aside from that, everything else was fine.

The hotel has a fabulous outdoor pool and grassy sunning area with bar service. It is only a ten minute walk to the old town and a five minute walk to a really fantastic gondola that takes you up a 2500' mountain and to a great mountain town. We came by train and the walk to the hotel was only 15 minutes and pretty easy. Breakfast was great with a ton of food plus "to-order" eggs.

Breakfast staff wasn't overly friendly, and you had to figure out "the system" on your own. Bathtub stopper didn't work so we couldn't take a bath.

Everything! The staff were exceptional! The breakfast was perfect! The location was great - quick access to the cable cars. The outdoor pool was so inviting on the warm days. It was the perfect retreat for our 5 night stay. We had a small issue with the air conditioning in our room, and the staff went above and beyond to compensate us for our troubles. Our children absolutely loved it as well. We have been traveling Europe for 10 weeks so far, and this was by far our favorite stay! We plan to come back again!
