Family-run medium-sized modern hotel a few minutes' walk from the central pedestrian core of Bolzano (also easily walkable from the train station if you don't have much luggage -- but we did). Staff are very friendly and helpful. When we asked them to order a taxi to take us to train station, they instead offered to drive us themselves! Breakfast is good, and they will also make you omelettes to order. Although I think that technically this would be considered a "3 star" level of hotel in terms of amenities, we found it very comfortable.

The light switches are unnecessarily "modern" and confusing to use. They also seem linked to the wall outlets in a mysterious way. Eventually, we always got the configuration we needed, after some trial and error.

Excellent location- easy walk to restaurants, shopping areas, museums and landmarks. Rooms were quite spacious and modern. Enjoyed having the lightweight comforter for bedding. Very convenient & multiple 2prong plugs for US adapters. Staff and manager were so very helpful & kind.. They appreciate their guests and offered suggestions on things to do.. The server at breakfast went out of his way to take care of you.. I felt very pampered.. The cleaning ladies also did an excellent job. Enjoyed our first time stay in Bolzano so very much!!

Firstly and most importantly, I feel the “temperature” and taste of the hotel: it is beyond business. It is like a chef who really loves food and loves to share the taste other than simply making money. Many carefully/well-designed details; homelike; comfortable bed; bright and spacious room; harmonious integration of classic wood furniture with modern device and elements; very nice staff….

If need one, the shower water is relatively cold in the night. No problem in the morning. If need two, google street view should update the picture of the hotel (for free).

Hotel is in an excellent position,close walk to everything. Staff were pleasant,friendly,made us feel welcome right from the start,from greeting us at the door,showing us to our room and explaining all details of the room. The hotel is exceptional in forward thinking of the future ,innovative in design. This hotel says a lot of a family owned business who seems to enjoy having guests. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Nothing to dislike

Very clean facility with excellent staff and amenities. The morning breakfast was very good. This is a gorgeous hotel that is very comfortable.

This is a very eco-friendly hotel so there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Not a problem as you can open your windows, however, there are several rooms that when you do this the cigarette smoke from neighboring building balconies drifts into your room. So you’re kind of stuck with either a hot room or a cigarette smoke filled room which isn’t ideal if you don’t smoke.

The hotel is very modern, looks refreshing and location is excellent. Rooms are quite big, clean and staff very helpful. Both train station and main shopping street is about 7-8 minutes walk. Locality felt quite safe.

Toilet doesn't have a wash basin though there are two large ones in the main room. Window shutters doesn't have individual controls so they either all open or close together. It is definitely not a 4 star when compared to other 4-star rated hotels in bolzano.

An exceptional hotel which features award-winning beautiful modern design, making the stay feel like something from Architectural Digest. The truly amazing thing was how charming and friendly the staff are. Another feature, the location is on street is quiet, but only two blocks from the Piazza Walter: both convenient and peaceful.

La Briosa felt like home in the best way possible. Despite us being in a foreign country, the staff here made us feel like family with their hospitality. The hotel architecture itself is gorgeous, it is located very centrally with easy access to the main attractions and stations in Bolzano, and the rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is the best I've had in Italy, and that is saying something as hotel breakfasts in this country are generally great, but La Briosa took it a level above. The food here was better than many Michelin starred restaurants! Both my girlfriend and I loved our stay here and would rate it as one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had, much better even then most super expensive resorts around the world. I would rate this place a 20 out of 10 if I could! Thank you La Briosa!

La Briosa is a very unique and modern hotel right near the center of Bolzano that left a great impression. I went on a two week Süd Tirol trip with my dad and we stayed mostly in Gasthauses in the Dolomites, but this hotel was a really nice change of scenery. I loved the motifs and you can tell the family/owners took great pride when designing this hotel. The room seemed brand new and was extremely clean. Beds and amenities were comfortable. The Frühstuck was delicious and plentiful with many local options. I will always remember my stay here and if I ever return to Bolzano I will be booking La Briosa again. If you are looking for a place to stay and La Briosa has availability, do not hesitate to reserve a room!

Great location, on site parking, modern large comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good as well. Many shops and restaurants nearby.

This is not a complaint just information for other travelers. The rooms are very modern and it took us a few minutes to figure out the lighting switches. The shades are built into the windows and are controlled by a switch near the door. We loved them! They completely darken the room.
