Location is great. Very central. Staff was super helpful since prior to me going there giving me instructions which bus to take from Venice/Treviso Airport. It is next to the University too. I liked that they had a mensa/meal buffet type since they use this building as a mix of dorm/hotel/conference & classroom rooms. Reminded me of my college years so that was nice. Super clean.

For that price I would expect a king bed but comparing to other hotels nearby that was the cheapest anyways. The heating was central and I couldn't lower it in my room eventhugh outside was cold I cannot sleep with too much heating. I got used to it.

-friendly helpful staff -good WiFi -quiet location -simple but good breakfast -close to old town The building has served several purposes in the past, mainly as a Christian centre or student/worker accommodation, as such has this kind of dormitory/self-contained feel, and the breakfast area is a stainless-steel cafeteria style set up(with a nicer dining area). It is dated but well kept and clean, but a different aesthetic to a typical hotel.

-although it is a very quiet location, I could easily hear noise from other rooms. How much depends on your specific neighbors -bad smell in the bathroom (pipes?) -at around 95 euro for a simple single room, it is a little bit expensive for what is offered, but I guess this is the market in the area. Overall, a good simple accommodation for a stop over one night stay.

This hotel used to be a dormitory (or maybe still is?) for Free University of Bolzano. Location is great right by the historic center of the town with many restaurants quite nearby. Priska the lady who checked me in was very friendly and nice. . Fixtures are very modern and clean, wifi was great, breakfast was a standard continental buffet.

The airconditioning was not very effective, it functions by cooling the floor- there is no cool air blown into the room. Thankfully it was not the hottest night of the summer. It was cooler in the hall than in my room but not too bad.

Location is very close to the city center. Parking garage available. Breakfast is prepared in a mensa-like setting, but the breakfast room itself is cosy with wooden furniture. Everything in this hotel is very clean. In the hotel room you will find a booklet describing the history of the Kolping Haus which is really fascinating.

it was no surprise, but our room was furnished with 2 beds that are arranged feet-to-head. So maybe not the best choice for romantic couples.

The best thing regarding this hotel is its location. Also it is located in a historical building, but in the same time very well kept and clean. The room looked very comfortable, clean and cosy in the same time.

I expected a more involved breakfast for a hotel in this price range. Moreover, they asked for another 20 box for using the spa, which is included if you are booking the hotel directly from their website. I guess this is not quite fair for those who want to use booking.com like me.

Very good location, just a few minutes walk from the central station and the main square. The receptionists are very welcoming and friendly. It is very clean and they change the towels every day. Breakfast was very nice, but the manager lady was quite rude. The room was nice too.

There wasn't a phone in the room even though it was mentioned in the details while booking. The room is not too small but quite narrow. You are not allowed to take your own leftover food from the breakfast. Maybe it is a nomal price for Bolzano, but it is too expensive compared to other places we have stayed in other Italian cities.

Several of the staff were outstanding in answering questions. The fresh bakery items at breakfast were wonderful. There was a wide variety of drinks available for breakfast. The property has a large open patio to relax in. Except for the AC issue the room was comfortable.

One afternoon it was unseasonable warm & I asked if the AC would work. The man at the front desk told me to make sure the switch was on the middle setting. It wasn’t so I switched it, but it still never come on. Fortunately I had a small fan with me. For 95 Euros a night I thought the AC would work.

A great base to explore the city. An easy walk to/from the train station and to the cable car for exploration of the Dolomites. Staff across the entire Haus were very pleasant and helpful. A special call out to Julianna for checking us in upon arrival, a little earlier than the prescribed 2pm. The breakfast is an arrangement of cold foods, hot and cold beverages wrapped in the smell of warm freshly baked bread and pastries.

The location in downtown is faulous! Breakfast was good. Easy to get too.

It is part of a conference center and student dorm for a music school. So rooms are set up like a dorm room with 2 single beds end to end. A/C doid not work at all in the room for entire stay. Hallway was cool so had to leave door open when in room to try to get some cool to be able to sleep. Music school serenades all day with want a be opera singers. Was actually very nice at times.

Best option for staying in Bolzano - only hotel that is not horribly overpriced - it is only overpriced :) Lovely receptionist, clean modern room with very nice bathroom, WiFi, cupboard, spare blanket/pillow, underground parking, I will come again .. for the 7th time I think..

I could've stayed more than one night :)
