I have travelled from Milan down to capri with multiples stays in between, this has been my best experience! La Terrazza sul Mare is a MUST STAY. Walking distance from the port with a bus that stops right by. The facilities are outstanding, I stayed at the sea view room which was absolutely beautiful. The room itself and the view were great! And the best part is the host, she is very kind, gracious and extremely helpful. She provided all the correct information and was even kind enough to pack me a breakfast prior to my boat tour. Exceptional property with exceptional staff. Loved my stay in capri! Hope to return and stay here again soon :)

Nice location, nice staff, tidy and clean place, nice view.

In general, I don’t book from no-refund places. This time I made an exception and we were gonna cancel this stay because we realized we don’t have to stay in Capri, we can do a day trip and get a similar experience. But since the place was no-refund, they didn’t cancel. No regrets in hindsight, but I’d expect place like Capri would be more open to cancellation because there will always be someone else booking.

Really liked this B&B; bit on the expensive side for what it is, but that'd describe Capri full-stop. Having said that, were I going to return to Capri, I'd specifically try to schedule for when there are rooms available here, so clearly the B&B's great. I was in the room on first floor; never heard a peep from people in their rooms, which I was very glad about since I have difficulty falling asleep sometimes. Had a wee little patio area that had walls high enough that no one could look into my room - nice to not have to go fiddle with the shutters just so I can have some privacy when changing. Speaking of outdoor areas, I loved all the terraces/patios that were at the hotel; they've got them on three different levels, though I largely stuck to the one by reception since reception had an electric kettle, so I could make myself some tea and then sit outside with it. Ended up being my hideout spot in the evenings, could watch the Bay of Naples getting darker and the lights coming on on the mainland, read for a while. Very pleasant after a day at the beach. Owner and workers were wonderful - very friendly, very helpful. Ahead of time I was sent detailed directions, a map, and even a video showing me how to find the property, as it is tucked in back from the road a bit. I didn't have trouble at all finding it, but I appreciate the degree to which they wanted to ensure I wasn't stumbling around narrow lanes with a suitcase.

I do wish the patio off my room had an external light, would've liked to have been able to have sat out there to read in the evenings. Only other complaint is that the shower in my room didn't drain very well - pipe might need a clearing out since it wasn't a matter of there being hair on the drain (I did check).

Great location in Capri near the ferry wharf which is convenient for arrival and boat tour departures, but walking distance to the main town which is much nicer than the port. The view from the breakfast area and terrace was excellent. Variety of rooms - my room was very small but had a nice little balcony with a view, whereas my friend’s room was spacious but did not have a view. Huge dessert platter for breakfast.

Our toilet would not flush one day and required a plumber to come in. Expensive for what it is but that is standard for Capri.

An amazing boutique hotel! We stayed 5days in the terrace room and it has an amazing view of the sea. The room was big and clean and very comfortable. The location is ideal. 15 min walk up the hill to Capri Center. A short 3 min walk to the port and we took the bus (15. Min) to Annacapri a few times. Marianna and Manuela were amazing hosts, very helpful and responsive. We looked forward to seeing them and we very morning for a beautiful breakfast

The location of the hotel is fantastic with gorgeous views and terraces. Our favourite part of the stay was the hospitality of the lady who serves the breakfast. She was so kind and helpful with knowledge about capri. The breakfasts were fantastic with a wide variety of freshly cooked baked items with a view overlooking Capri. The room was always cleaned fantastically and was tidied immaculately. Other residents of the facility were kind and welcoming.

The room did not have enough space for vanity. A table which allowed space for hair, makeup, creams or just general items like jewellery and perfume would have kept the room more organised and more enjoyable for getting ready.

Host was super kind, she gave us amazing advices about our stay in Capri. Asked about breakfast preferences, which btw was more than enough. But the best thing was the view. No matter what room you select there is available terrace for everyone with stunning view. On top there’s a rooftop terrace on the next floor with some sun beds.

The place was very nice. View from public areas spectacular. Breakfast very good with lots of delicious pastry. Location is close to port and close to funicular. Close to beach, but out of the way so it is quiet and private.

The room AC was either not working right or unable to adequately cool the room. It is very hot in Capri now and it is hard to sleep unless room is cool. We had it set to 16c but it really felt like 26c. Only other disappointment was view from the room. It was supposed to be “garden” but was an enclosed courtyard. So all you saw was walls. But it was all very nice and clean with a little table and chairs.

Our stay here was incredible!! The location was amazing, only a 5 minute walk to the main harbor/ downtown area. The room was very clean and comfortable! The view from the terrace and the rooftop were absolutely incredible!! You can see the whole city and a beautiful view of the sea!! The staff were incredible and made our stay so special!! Will definitely be coming back!

Great location with stunning views. Immaculately clean with good size rooms. Lovely breakfast with homemade pastries every morning served on hand painted pottery. Great value for money. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and hope to go back! Alicia the host made us very welcome - thank you!
