My husband and I stayed at Relais Maresca for our honeymoon. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! First of all, the location is perfect - right in Marina Grande so it is walking distance from the harbor. It's also next to the ticket center, to the Funicolare, bus stations, and taxies so it was easy to get anywhere we needed to go on the island. A public beach and beach club are also just a short walk down from the hotel. The views from the hotel are spectacular as it faces Marina Grande. The staff at the hotel were incredible - all of them from the manager, to the front desk/concierges, restaurant staff, and cleaning service were committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As the end of our stay, the bellhop even helped us to carry our baggage to the ferry port. Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. We felt very well taken care of! We really enjoyed the restaurant as well - the selection of Italians breads and cakes at breakfast time were impressive! You could smell them baking so we knew they were fresh and homemade. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean with a lovely terrace to enjoy the sea view (we highly recommend choosing a room with a view!). Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Capri! It's so worth it!

The hotel is on the more expensive side. Capri itself is very expensive. Even water is 6 euros a bottle so it is definitely a pricey trip. Bring bug spray as there are mosquitoes on the terrace.

Excellent location!! The Manager Antonio and the staff were extremely helpful from beginning to end. As soon as we arrived in the morning and considering our stay was for one night, they explained to us all things to do, give us the room before check in time and within minutes they helped us to book a private boat to go around the Island!!! We arrived at 9 am and at 11 am we were on the boat, nice!!! As soon as we arrived from the boat trip we found a bottle of prosecco in our room, a gift from the Manager. By the way the staff made us a reservation at Da Paolino, a great restaurant. Antonio thanks for everything!!! Will see you again.

The hotel is beautifully maintained and we liked the restaurant. The staff were really helpful and we were able to buy tickets for the funicular and buses from the reception which meant we didn’t have to join queues at ticket offices. Capri is lovely but we loved Anacapri even more, not so many lines of cruise passengers clogging up the little pathways. Thank you Hotel Relais Maresca for a memorable stay, maybe we’ll be back some day xxx

Although the hotel was convenient for the port we didn’t realise how noisy the ferries were and how frequently they were bringing in literally hundreds of thousands of people, so we found sitting out on our balcony too noisy.

Antonio & all staff Capri with Love 🇮🇹🇦🇺❤️🥰 My stay at Relais Maresca Boutique Hotel was excellent in every way. It is easy to give Antonio & every staff member & the accommodation 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🇮🇹 plus. I was greeted at the Port (Marina Grande) which is only a short distance away & my bags were dealt with. There are only a few steps up to the hotel in any case, but with 20kg it is great, as a solo traveller, to have the option. Antonio & Patrizia were at reception to warmly greet me & I was able to check in ahead of time. Antonio provided a map of the Island & all the tips & tricks to getting around. All transportation is within easy reach, boat, taxi, bus (to Anacapri) & cable car (to Capri). A complementary bottle of Prosecco was delivered to my room which was a lovely surprise & mixed very well with my Lemoncello from Amalfi! My room was clean, bed extremely comfortable & I enjoyed some English speaking news on Sky after 5 weeks! Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was warm & most hospitable in the truest Italian way 🇮🇹🇦🇺. I ate two nights at the Terrace Restaurant & the food was excellent & the views stunning. The next day I was presented with an incredible selection for breakfast - fresh fruit, cold meats & cheeses, bread & the best for me was eggs & bacon which I had not had for 5 weeks! Bellissimo! There were juices of every description, a wide selection of beautiful home made cakes & tarts, pastries, cereals, nuts & of course, coffee in any way you desired. There was also a wide selection of tea. After breakfast I had a 3 minute walk to join my 9:00 am small group for a tour of Blue Grotto & Capri at Dock Zero. Another amazing tour lead by professionals who love to share the magnificence of their home.

Upon arriving, the manager (Antonio) was so welcoming providing a wonderful overview of the property, restaurant recommendations and attractions to enjoy on the island. The hotel had pre-purchased bus and funicular tickets which helped us avoid waiting in long lines to purchase. The location was convenient to the ferry, bus and funicular. When we checked in our room, we had prosecco and fresh fruit waiting for us and the most amazing view of the Mediterranean. We stayed in the room called the attic. The room decor matched the beautiful blue waters. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely return.

Antonio (general manager) makes a great connection as soon as you walk in the door. He spends some time telling you a bit about the island and all the points of interest. The location is beautiful with breakfast on the terrace with sea views - just what you want in Capri! The room we got was compact but clean with that Italian fun tile design. They also gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco - so thoughtful.

Great location close to the ferry terminal but that meant you had to use the funicular or bus to get to Capri town or Ana Capri.

The hotel was in a very convenient location near the Marina, Funicular, and bus transportation. Shops and dining was also within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent! Mariana was extremely helpful with all of our questions. She had great tips and advice for us. She did it all with patience and a smile on her face. Her co-workers in every area of the hotel were also very helpful and pleasant. I wish I could name them all! If I return to Capri I would be happy to stay there again.

If I was interested in a beach I would have chosen a different location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the manager, Antonio, even provided an introduction to the hotel and island. The location was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a more central place to stay. Additionally, the breakfast and dinner on terrace was so nice as well! I loved our private room terrace as well!

The location directly on „Marina Grande“ is outstanding! You jump off the ferry boat and within minutes you are in your hotel by walking … without all the hassle with a taxi, the luggage and time and troubles in case you are e.g. located on the south side of Capri, somewhere in the mountains. The hotel is located enough away from the noice of the harbor but only a minute away from the bus station and the funicolare, which will bring you up to Capri city, Anacapri, the Marina Piccola in the south and all the other wonderful places on the island. Antonio and his team tries all and everything to make your stay unforgettable and they succeeded for me. I am 62 and traveling allone. I spend two nights in the rooftop room 41 with a huge terrace. A wonderful place to let an „active“ day pass away. Most of my time on the island I was walking through this beautiful place on earth, with all the wonderful villas and tropical gardens and all the history. So I was quite tired in the evening and preferred to take my dinner in the hotel restaurant on the third floor. They even cooked me my special „spaghetti alla puttanesca“ on request, even though it wasn’t on the Menu! Breakfast buffet is on the same location and very good as well. Lots and lots of different cakes but not limited to. All the other breakfast stuff is available as well of course. All pictures I have seen on the booking portals are „real“ and there is no reason to add more! For me it would be my first choice when coming back to Capri again. The location. The room was roomy with a beautiful view of the water and all the sites below! The Manager has a way of making you feel right at home. We’ll A/C room, lovely bath and plenty of desk space in room. safe and well stocked “bar”. Lively, we’ll planned out Breakfast choices.

The TV was difficult to work. Finally found 1 English speaking program. but, you don’t spend much time in the room.
