The stay was brilliant that it is difficult to write a review that would do its justice. Amazing hosts that were very welcoming and trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Starting from offering refreshments upon arrival and explaining how to get around the Island and it's best sights to kindly providing the beach towels. Capri Inn has beautiful terrace with a great view and beach chairs free for the guests. As well as the terrace shower for a quick rinse. The room greets you with the stunning view of Marina Grande. The balcony has cozy table and two chairs that are perfect for breakfast or just to chill in the evening while enjoying the veiw. The locations is perfect as you are close to the main attractions, yet removed far enough from the noise. The bed and the bedding is perfect and you will sleep with a smile on your face while listening to the sea. The room also offers a mini bar with very generous prices. Loved every second of the stay.

Capri Inn is in a prime location near to the port (marina grande), which was highly convenient as we did not have to take a bus / funicular with our luggage (and pay additional cost), but rather walk up (an admittedly steep slope) to the apartment. There is a bus stop is just outside the hotel, although it's not obvious. It can take you directly to Capri or Anacapri. Alternatively, the port is a short walk away, and you may take the funicular up to Capri there too. There is also a small free beach right outside the hotel (down the stairs near the bus stop), which is highly convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they allowed us to check in early since our room was available, and gave us many good food recommendations at various parts of the island. The view from the balcony of the port / sea is amazing. A big breakfast is provided every morning at your desired time, though be mindful that they will deliver it at the same time every day with the same food, unless you explicitly tell them otherwise. You have the option to eat on the balcony, though beware of the seagulls (a problem faced on the entire island, not unique to this property).

The soundproofing here left a lot to be desired. Even with the windows closed, we could hear (muffled) conversations from guests in the other room when they were on the balcony, and sometimes, them talking when they were inside their room although we could not make out what they were saying. Please also note that there are no lifts to the property, and the property is on the 2nd floor (ground floor is floor 0). It is not recommended for people who require mobility aids or are unwilling to carry luggage up so many flights of stairs.

the location is great easy access to the marina and some public beach’s nearby

the breakfast could be better, like including eggs, etc. A coffee machine and a Kettle in the room would make a great difference.

The location is excellent: 5 minutes to the ferry terminal and on the sea front with a lovely view. Room and bathroom were a good size with comfortable bed and decent linen. There is a balcony to sit on and with the opportunity to have breakfast on which is pleasant. The staff were very good at providing comprehensive information on the island and detailed guidance on how to get to places which was very helpful: appreciated. Room is quiet with no internal or external noise. Definitely use the porter service to take luggage to the hotel as it is up 2 flights of stairs: 10 euro a bag. The breakfast is adequate: fruit, yogurt, juice, croissant and coffee or a toasted sandwich but perhaps some further choice would be nice.

All good: perhaps a greater variety of breakfast offer.

This hotel is close to the port. The porters got our luggages at the port and delivered to the 2nd floor of the hotel ($10 per luggage because is a private company). The staff are so excellent and kindless people. They arrange to take our luggages from the hotel directly to the ferry. the continental Breakfast at your room, so good! And the sea view is spectacular; don’t forget to ask for a sea view room; amazing!

Have to be in mind that if hou have heavy bags, have to pay extra to get someone to carry them from the port to the hotel and to the return. But this will happen with any other hotels also .

Beautiful stay in the gorgeous Capri. Our balcony room right on the sea was magical. The bed and pillow comfortable and the bathroom clean. Sitting on the balcony watching the world go by, rooftop drinks and our balcony breakfast all made for such a memorable stay 💙

Nothing not to like. Stairs everywhere on Capri and to have the best views you’ve got to use them.

Nice room with a sea view balcony The room was pleasant, with a balcony overlooking the sea—you can even hear the sound of the waves, which is very relaxing. It’s located near Marina Grande, so it’s convenient for ferry access, but if you plan to spend more time around the Piazzetta, you might want to stay closer to that area. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and there’s no elevator, which could be an issue with luggage. Overall, though, it’s a nice place to stay.

The communication and reception was efficient and friendly. The room ( #1) was clean and fresh with dual aspect windows ( plus electric blinds for darkness). The en suite bathroom was very clean and modern . We were served a delicious breakfast to our room which we had pre-selected at check in. We ate on our balcony overlooking the ocean which was a treat ( including extra coffee afterwards)! There was a large communal sun terrace on the roof with a hot tub and amazing views of the ocean but sadly we were only staying one night and had no time to use it. The hotel is a short walk up the hill from the port and the rooms are up two flights of stairs but this was not a problem for us.

Only good positive comments for the Capri Inn! Travellers might like to to take note that in bad weather, the ferry boat service to Capri could be changed or cancelled at the last moment. We travelled at the end of March when the winds were high and were only able to get there from Sorrento on an extra emergency service that the coast guard had to give permission for….the crossing was ROUGH!
