The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is only a 5-minute walk from Fortezza da Basso, the exhibition site. The room facilities are clean and modern, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and a pleasant terrace. Additionally, breakfast is included and offers a wide variety of food options. One of our favorite features is the 24/7 coffee machine at the reception, which adds to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.

One of our rooms is facing the railway terminal, where trains run from 6am to mid night, it could be a little noisy esp if you are a light sleeper

The room looked better that I expected… and bigger. Also, it had a nice feeling, it was pleasant. The breakfast was very good. The personal was very nice. The location is good, if you don t mind a walk of 20 min to the places of interest, 10 min to the train station.

In the room was a permanent noise. Not from outside, it is very good isolated (I wish I had at home this kind of windows) but from inside, I guess from the heating system. I had earplugs and still I could hear that noise. If you are a light sleeper, this is not for you. Also, in the area, you don’t find options to eat/drink.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding meal tasting session on the outskirts of Florence where the catering co had their premises. It suited us just fine and we were very happy they had parking facilities on site. Their breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of food. The staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful and recommended several good restaurants.

There was a bad smell of the drain in the bathroom although the bathroom was spotless.

Hotel staff was warm.helpfull...very professional..couldn't do enough for you...brilliant location..a very modern looking hotel....just up the road from trams and train station..we had breakfast option....which was tasty lots to choose from...overall...a credit to Florence....I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and would happily stay here again in a heart beat .lots of .restaurants near by....and everything you need to see can be done on foot...Florence is a must..!! ....plus I love the name of the hotel...Leonardo da Vinci..says it all.....

The room was a good size, and quiet despite being on a busy road. Breakfast was very good. The location was only a 10 minute walk from SMN rail station, and close to a tram stop for the airport.

The hotel was a little out of the way of all the main attractions and restaurants. It was worth it though for the ease of getting there, and it was less than a 20 minute walk to the Duomo, and only 10 minutes to Santa Maria Novella.

We booked a superior room and was given a family room with plenty of space. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. We were able to leave our cases after check out which was a great help.

The location is good for the station but a little further out for the main attractions. The shower was very small and it was difficult to stop it leaking onto the floor.

The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great, the use of a coffee/tea machine 24 hours was brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was in a quieter part of Florence but was a 10 minute walk to the train station. Mini fridge in the room was a bonus and your own safe as well.

I didn't like that there wasn't much around the hotel, restaurants, shops, etc but that was nothing to do with the hotel.

Location: close to train station (5 mins walk with luggage), close to town centre and most of the scenic spots (around 15-30 mins walk) Staffs: all of staffs (especially the reception)are very kind and willing to help and solve any problems (including breakfast, room door problems, etc) Service and the room: clean ground and bed after everyday cleaning; the room could be very quiet after closed all the windows, even though it was closed to train lines. Breakfast: provided different foods and drinks, different types of bread, scramble eggs, boiled eggs, bacons, mushrooms, cheeses and tomatoes, fresh fruits (watermelon, pineapple, white peach, etc), cereal, yogurt, fruit juice, coffee…… Only one thing isn’t that good: the room isn’t large enough after putting two big luggages.

wasn’t very clean, hair in the shower, and on the floor. Very simple and basic design. Some colors, artwork on the walls could create more cosy environment. Very noisy cleaning staff starting to work in the morning talking very loud, not allowing to sleep a little bit longer on vacations.

Hotel itself was very clean, the rooms were a decent size with a lovely large bed. Our first room was excellent size with a large room and large bathroom. However, we had an issue with the toilet on our second night where the floating toilet came away from the wall!!! However, when we reported it the next morning to reception they sent the maintenance men straight to the room and when they said they couldn't fix it we were moved to another room straight away. This room again was nice but the bathroom was VERY small. So with most hotels, it is the luck of the draw. Breakfast was really good value and lots of options. The staff themselves were so lovely and very helpful, an absolute asset to the hotel!!!

It is worth noting that the hotel is a good 10/ 15 minute walk to the outskirts of the town. While that doesn't sound much, in the heat and going out for dinner you are looking at a good 25 minutes walk (depending where you are going in the city) so you are very hot and sweaty before you even arrive at dinner.
