The rooms are elegantly appointed, the cuisine is delightful, and the staff is attentive. Everything was good. Good value for money.

Good location next to the lake, have a lot of parking space in private parking lot, friendly staff.

No sound isollation: we could hear everything what happened in the hall, and in the night it bothered our sleep, because other people were realy loud speaking/shouting, shutting doors while walking to smoke a lot (probably), moving furniture or something, so we could hear everything like it was in our room. Windows are poorly regulated (or just aged, or just build like that) - our room windows were to the street, and it made a lot of noise. Also, on January in the nights temperature drops below 0, so even tho windows were completely closed, we were feeling the cold. In summer probably there is no problem about that (except sound).

Perfect location of the hotel ,just few mins from the train station surrounded by lake and mountains,amazing unforgettable view from the balcony,we booked lake view room ,room was big enough and clean every day ,just little issue the handles of the balcony doors are a bit loose ,so need to be gentle when opening the doors but is not a big deal at all ,very pleasant and helpful hotel stuff ,really great service ,great connection of the railway to Milano Centrale,about an hour with one change at Lecco ,7 mins to Lecco by train where you can change a train to Milano centrale and also can take a day trip to Lugano (is about 40 mins from Milano centrale ) and also about 30ish mins to Varenna or Bellano by train where you can change to ferry towards Bellagio ,Menagio or Lago di Como from Varenna is within 1 hour ,so really a good connection to other places on lake Como specifically for those who are using public transport ,great tasty breakfast and special thanks to hotel staff who organised a birthday cake for my mom 🤗🙏it was so cute from your side ,definitely recommend this hotel ,amazing and unforgettable stay we really enjoyed staying there !

The owner Hisham was super friendly, had great suggestions of restaurants and places! Also switched our room to a lake view room free of charge which was very appreciated. Apart from that, breakfast was great with all around amazing staff and super clean with lots of hygienic solutions. Great 3 star hotel and well worth the money if you book in advance. View was breathtaking. Thanks for a great stay!

Double bed was 2 single beds pushed together, that was stiff and could separated while sleeping and was slightly different hights.

1) there is an extra charge of 2 euro without notice, even though the price we paid included fee & taxes. The staff considers “it’s on behalf of the state”, as if others taxes were not. Wish the price indication would be clearer. other hotels in Italy seem to be more honest, with clear indication on the “taxes & fees included” parts. 2) windows isolation could be improved: we heated very clearly people talking in the bar terrace.

The room has a good size and looks fairly nice despite not being very modern anymore. The views of the lake are beautiful, the breakfast is reasonable with attentive staff and there is a free private parking and a beach just a few meters away. There is a relatively good restaurant in the building next door.

The breakfast room could have a more renovated appearance and be larger. Sometimes customers had to go and have breakfast at the cafe next door, which is connected by a sliding door. The terrace was completely disorganized, the grass in the flowerbeds was waist-high, the tables and chairs were piled up and pushed to one side in an unpleasant manner.

The view alone makes this hotel a great stay. We were only there for one night but it was so refreshing to stay in a modern hotel after camping around Tuscany. We took advantage of the balcony to bask in the lake view. You can also see ducks sunbathing and napping in the garden downstairs. So quaint. The receptionist was amazing, she was so patient and gracious with accommodating our changing requirements. The bed was so comfortable as well, we all slept so well. Breakfast was included and set us up well for the day. Tea, coffees, sausages, eggs, breaded goods, yogurt.

We were driving and it was a little confusing to figure out where we were allowed to park. Turns out you need a key from reception to get into the hotel’s own car park which is separate from the bigger car park you drive into. There were quite a few ants in the room but we encountered this issue all over Italy. The shower was really slow to drain. We travelled as a family of 5 so this became a bit of an issue when getting the kids ready. A minor point but the chair in the room was really rather worn and didn’t seem clean. We avoided using it.

Breakfast was nice, and a lovely lady that supplied me with all the cappuccino I could drink. Everyone we met there was super welcoming and nice, all smiles and wonderful conversation. I'd love to come back. The lake/mountain view we had from our room was spectacular. An amazing view to start everyday with. We were also given recommendations on where to go, and what to eat. Every recommendation we went with was golden. Abbadia Larania is not as crowded as say Bellagio. But I went to Bellagio and I would rather stay in Abaddia again. We were supposed to just stay for two nights, but weren't ready to leave so we had to extend and enjoy it a little more. I even had to get a new plane ticket. Worth it!!

We couldn't get one lamp to work. But to be honest, that's on us. We never mentioned it. And with the splendid service everyone in this place offered I'm sure it would had been fixed in five minutes had I just said something. I just didn't want to bother anyone!

The hotel is very close to lake Como with stunning views from the room with lake view but also the mountain view was beautiful. Large rooms with balcony. We didn't mind furniture was not up to date but functional and clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of choices both savoury and sweet. Just outside the hotel is a path along the lake for a walk. Halfway is the ferry stop to take a ferry along the lake to other towns. Or go to Varenna (20 minutes by car) and catch the ferry to Bellagio for a day trip.

Unfortunately the hot water didn't work when we returned after dinner. Hotel staff made a big effort to help and offered other rooms, but we were too tired to change rooms that late. At 22:30 the front office lady came to our room to tell us the technical problem was solved but for some reason hot water was still not running untill the next morning.
