We were greeted very friendly by Stefano and felt very welcome. He showed us our room, which was very nice and exceptionally clean. In the mornings we enjoyed the breakfast with a small but very delicious variety of options to choose from. The host was always ready to help and responded quickly to any questions during our stay. On the day we left he drove us and our luggage to Mandello de Lario so we didn’t have to walk.

It was quite a walk to the lake, and the trail was quite steep. While that was a bit exhausting it is not the hosts fault and shouldn’t really play a role in the review. It is nice to know though, if you come here without a car.

Excellent breakfast. They also run a restaurant, it is one of the best restaurants in Lake Como. The only regret we had was that we didn’t eat there for a second night thinking we would try somewhere else.

What a fantastic place! A lovely family run b&b with restaurant below with exceptional food! Breakfast was plentiful, all fresh and locally gathered. Owners very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help us with late arrival by leaving keya out and accommodating us with a crib and high chair for our baby. Very comfortable beds and a great location for walkers with a lovely country walk into town and a waterfall hike in the vicinity!

Nothing we can fault as it was perfect. Would come back again to stay here in Lake Como.

The B&B and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It's located a little bit up the mountain and is the perfect base to go and discover all the towns and cities in the area. The owners of both the B&B and the restaurant are incredibly hard-working and kind and have clearly put their hearts and souls into both establishments. The breakfasts were amazing. Fresh pastries, cakes and toast, partly homemade and partly from a nearby bakery with homemade jams, delicious eggs made to order, and fresh coffee and orange juice. Everything is brought to your table and you feel really well taken care of. We were given the room with the loft. It was very comfortable with a nice, clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room was equipped with air conditioning. Our room also came with a sink and small fridge and a table to eat at. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the breakfast and a dinner in the family restaurant at least once. We had an incredible experience and won't forget it anytime soon.

The host, Stefano, is the best host we’ve ever had for a vacation. So warm and welcoming and really helpful. The restaurant and breakfast were spectacular.

Sometimes, the hot water ran out

The hospitality was next-level. We're greeted with a smile and made to feel right at home, even if we were only there for a night. The breakfast was gorgeous and so was the room.

Absolutely loved my stay here ! Beautiful hosts inside and out. The property is gorgeous in a beautiful setting. Detached yet felt such a connection to the nature and the village. Great coffee and breakfast options each morning. Room was super clean and comfortable (mattresses are on the firmer side but that seems to be common), also beware of noise carrying over easily (I was jet lagged and on the phone all night not realizing my neighbors could hear me all too well). Great travel tips from the host. Oh and dinner was delicious, didn’t realize it wasn’t nightly otherwise I would’ve been a regular while in the area. Would absolutely need a return trip here! Don’t think twice about it. If you want an authentic experience this is it!! And don’t be afraid of the drive or commute, if I did it so can you… ask your host they’re really helpful.

I loved it all

We recently stayed at this beautiful B&B and had an exceptional experience. The medieval village is incredible and wonderfully quiet. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was a delightful start to each day, offering a wide variety of delicious and fresh options made on site Including home made jams and muffins, that catered to every taste. Additionally, the host Stefan was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect - goi g above and beyond on many occasions. We highly recommend Alla Torre del Barbarossa and look forward to returning in the future!

Nothing it was great.

The atmosphere of the small village and the property itself was incredible. Like being somewhere a few hundred years ago with all the comforts of our times. But it is all real, not fake, not remade for tourists. It was charming, peaceful, and unique. The owner is also very kind and helpful. The restaurant on site is pleasant. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Beautiful hiking trail and a very nice waterfall nearby.

We are grateful to the hotel staff for the service we received. Stefano, the owner, was kind, helpful, supportive. We felt in good hands. This is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday. Family business makes this guest house cozy. The restaurant is so nice to spend an evening after walking. There is good wine, delicious food. We lived near the old tower, which brought a piece of antiquity to our holiday. The room is comfortable, has everything you need. Large common room, where we found a microwave, kettle, wine and whiskey. The owner, Stefano, speaks good English, can help with navigation around the sights. Dear Stefano, Thanks to you, we spent a wonderful holiday near Lake Como.
