Everything. Nonna Silvi, Daniele and Liebe (their Bernese mountain dog) were the best hosts that you could have and greet you like family. Nonna Silvi may not speak English, but that does not stop her from having conversations with you. She welcomes you with a bottle of Prosecco, daily home cooked breakfasts, surprises you with bottles of wine, home cooked dinner on your last night, does pick-up/drop-off services in her little Fiat 500; and is just simply filled with Italian warmth. Daniele is just as lovely and he can help to translate & relay any requests to Nonna Silvi, or you can ask him for any recommendations on what to do around the area. And Liebe… is the cutest, goofiest, hugest bundle of joy. The property itself is simply gorgeous. The view, the hot tub, the sauna, the olive grove, the amazing wine collection in their cellar. I mean the pictures here doesn’t do it justice. You have your own private room which has everything that you need - you have your own privacy when needed or you can pop out to cuddle with Liebe or have a hearty conversation with Nonna Silvi and Daniele. I could go on but if you’ve read this far, book this place. You won’t regret it.

It makes you sad to leave it

Everything about this stay was just perfect. Senior Italian lady offered us free italian dinner, prosecco, she also prepared us wonderfull breakfast. The hosts was just perfect, we are very thankfull. They have a dog which they allowed to stay with us (Liebe), my wife still remember her with a tears in her eyes. I can assure everyone who is thinkink to stay here - the pictures are as is, everything is just even better. If you find this property free on your vacation dates - dont miss your chance to get there :)

The property was spacious, clean, very welcoming and these photos don’t do it justice! The family of the property are amazing and made us feel very comfortable and looked after us more than expected. Would highly recommend for a very unique experience. The location is amazing and the views are breathtaking! Will definitely go back again.

Silvi and her family made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. Our mid-day food was outstanding, and the breakfast the following mornings was one of the best we had during our stay in Italy. The view from this location is superb, and moving the between the cozy hot tub and the slightly chilly pool in quick succession was a delight with the lake and peaks as a backdrop. Making things even nicer was the presence of a friendly dog! The hosts did a perfect job of keeping taking care of us without us without being obtrusive. The parking spot made things easy and the house was a true oasis above the crowds along the lake shore.

This is a special type of stay. Silvana and Daniele welcomed us into their villa and provided a unique experience. They made accommodations to enhance our stay and make our time with them unforgettable. We look forward to the next time we can visit!

The host was so incredibly kind and hospitable. She made me an excellent dinner and a huge delicious breakfast. She even took me to the train station. The hot tub was so relaxing and the view was nothing like I’d ever seen before.

Wow… where do I begin?! Villa silvi has been on our bucket list for 3+ years and we’ve been so excited since booking it. There’s simply no words to describe how amazing our stay was at Villa Silvi. The views are stunning and like something out of a movie - only made even better by Nonna Silvi’s hospitality, friendless and constant smiles. Nothing was ever too much for Nonna Silvi, she constantly made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond all expectations. She absolutely completed our experience here. Having an amazing breakfast every morning with panoramic views of lake como will be something we’ll cherish forever. Villa Silvi is the the best place my partner and I have ever stayed. Fabulous views. Made to feel very welcome by the family including the dog Liebe! Daniele provided a lovely sharing platter on our first night and was always available to drive us to and from the local towns.

This was an unforgettable trip! Silvi made us feel welcome from the very beginning and she was always around to lend a hand. It truly felt like a home away from home (but with magical views of the lake). We woke up to an amazing breakfast everyday and Silvi was so kind to offer to drive us to dinner, help suggest restaurant recommendations & on the very last night she also made an exceptional dinner for us to eat together. We will definitely be back!

Nothing - everything was amazing.

My partner and I stayed at silvi’s for 3 nights over Valentine’s Day and I can safely say it was our greatest trip together. The accommodation is Incredible. The views are phenomenal and a 24 hour hot tub, sauna and pool as well as some amazing wine from her wine cellar. Silvi, Daniele and Michelle were all amazing from start to finish. We have stayed at many air bnbs across the world and this is by far the best one. We laughed so much and loved their company. Every morning breakfast was laid out and every evening dinner. Silvi gave us lifts everywhere we went and we were given some tips on must see places that we would have never have thought of. On day 2 Silvi added a new puppy to her family named Liebe. The cutest puppy and brought us hours of fun. During our 3 night stay we had the fortune of experiencing bright sunshine, hot weather and heavy snow. This is a 10/10 property and family. If you’re thinking of staying around lake como then this is a must stay. Alongside the amazing property - Varenna, the closest town, was our favourite across all 8 towns we visited on lake como. Daniele helped us prior to coming with all the documentation and recommendations as well as giving us tips on how to get tickets to inter vs Liverpool. Michelle was so kind and friendly and helped with translations to Silvi so we could hold conversations. Silvi is quite simply the greatest host you will ever meet. I can’t speak highly enough of her. She has a heart of gold and does everything she possibly can to make sure you have an amazing trip. We can’t wait to return in the next few months.
