Reception was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave several 20c coins to get us started for the lift. The room was spacious and clean. Our towels were changed often. Breakfast was also good and fresh daily. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. 2 adults, 3 children 4,7 and 9.

Nothing the hotel can do about it, but the lift in the building to the 6th floor where the hotel is was tiny!

The host was very nice and even waited for us to arrive, which we truly appreciated. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, our stay was good, and we enjoyed our time there.

For such a large building, a bigger elevator would be a great improvement, as it can feel a bit cramped.

Easy to find via google maps once you know the entrance you're looking for, see photo below. Caught Alibus from airport (you can pay on the bus, also shared taxis available, same price from bus stop) 5€ each way from airport to Garibaldi, then metro to Toledo (4 stops) 1.30€ pay contactless, saves buying a ticket, just remember to swipe again before leaving the station. Toledo is a great area, lots of shops & I felt very safe. The hotel is about 5/10 mins walk from the metro station, straight down and I think, 2nd right. It's important the receptionist knows what time you're arriving. The porter on the ground floor rang to let them know I'd arrived. The girls on reception were excellent. They let me check in early & leave my bags after I'd checked out. There is a supermarket & takeaway close by. Also for 1.20€ there was a cafe close by for an expresso coffee and large croissant. It was great having coffee pods in the room with a coffee machine. Excellent stay!

I knew about the lift and 20C each time to go up & down, but it did stop me going to & from the room more frequently.

Owner was there waiting for us as arranged. excellent communication skills regarding checkin and out. there was a coffeemaker in the room but no kettle but i was told i could use the kettle in the kitchen anytime. there is a caretaker there till late evening. clean room. it was noisy in the street on the first night.

elevator to sixth floor was annoying but they gave is 20 cent coins ro use.

Perfect location

20 cent to use the lift. No problem as it's an old building but you had to keep a 20 cent coin handy. Not a problem though but if you come back after a few drinks it's 6 flights up. Overall tho,great value for money

Friendly staff, very helpful. Okay breakfast. Big room in a good location (near the city center)

7th floor, if you go by feet feels like you're getting on the 14th floor. Very hard to get if you travel with family (I mean on the floor) (each elevator ride costs 20 cents - maybe it's time to make it for free)

Location. Staff really really helpful. Luggage storage on last day and a key to get back in to apartment even though we had checked out.

It would be a good idea to include a 'no clean today' sign so guests can lie in or use the room.

Location is pretty good & is close to many amenities. The room was clean and comfortable & breakfast was good. Staff were all friendly.

Complete silence at breakfast- a radio or some music would be lovely.

The plece of hove is near most of the attractions. Miriane who contact wlth us were bery helful in every issue.

Everything were very nice. Mariana is very helpfull . She helped us to visit historical places and explained everything clearly.

Fantastic location, really good staff. Proper unique little place - smallest lift known to man but all adds to the character. Room was cleaned brilliantly by the staff. Would massively recommend this place. Very reasonably priced too. Lovely balcony was a great touch, fridge in the room and air con. Unique design. The lift costs 20c but the rooms had a pile of 20c coins in them which was a fantastic touch.

Very minor negatives. The shower is very small, and there is some mould around the door to the patio.
