We absolutely loved our stay at Horti. The hotel itself is a little haven, the rooms were incredibly comfortable, clean, and light. The staff were really helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and it was lovely to be able to sit on the roof terrace. It’s only a short work to Trastevere too and a good location (20-30 minute walk) to the Vatican - excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This is a hotel unique for Rome in many respects, but especially notable for its exceptional modern architecture nesting comfortably in an an historic and luxuriantly green and quiet setting, though only ten minutes by foot from the bustle of Trastevere. One feels cocooned in a kind of utopia here. The staff, too stands out for friendliness and helpfulness.

I don't want to criticize anything in such a wonderful place! However, if II were forced to quibble, I might say that I didn't love some of the breakfast choices (i.e. the yogurt, the juices, some of the bread products weren't the absolute best, though none were poor).

The Hotel is fantastic. It was my second time here and I liked it even more. Excellent location. Attentive and kind staff made my experience wonderful. Beautiful and super comfortable room!!! I loved the tips, i went to Vanda, Taverna Trilussa and the Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà brewery. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff, atmosphere and room. Had an amazing time here and everyone was so welcoming. The evening bar in particular had some great drinks and was hosted by the loveliest person. Thank you again Horti!

Walls were a little thin - could hear neighbours quite clearly. And we needed a tray/shelf in the shower!

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and really enjoy it. It's got the boutique vibe that we like...plus the rooms are well laid out. The garden is very pretty at night, and we enjoyed sitting out there to have a nightcap when we got home. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet part of Trastevere....which is ideal. No crazy crowds or traffic noise....but still close to everything. We walked or rode bikes almost everywhere....but the couple of times we needed a taxi, the hotel would call one and they arrived in minutes. Also, if you're there when it's very hot out, their air conditioning is great. Highly recommend this spot.

The bathroom layout was strange, with the toilet almost up against the shower glass. More challenging for my husband than me. :) And you have to step into the shower to turn the water on. So, a basic design issue, but nothing that's unbearable.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, loved the location - easy ten min walk over bridge at end of road to get into main City, and ten min walk into heart of Trastevere (where loads of restaurants are) yet lovely to be away from noise. Staff were all fantastic and breakfast was amazing! Beautifully cleaned rooms and fresh towels daily. Definitely worth paying a little more for the comfort of this 4*hotel. AND the umbrellas were a lovely touch (which we needed for one of the days we were there!! ) We went for my daughter’s birthday and breakfast waiter went out of his way to remember and sorted a little cake on her day!

The staff are very friendly and helpful in every way they could be. Lovely boutique hotel. lots of lovely restaurants nearby. The hotel recommendations for restaurants in the area which was very helpful and they were spot-on. Very nice touch send a email before we arrived with recommendations. Booked a taxi to collect us from the Airport Through the hotel, which was an excellent service as well. Really, I enjoyed our stay in the hotel and will come back definitely again. Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet part of Trastevere, friendly and helpful staff, great setting and excellent breakfast. Parking was a bonus.

The room was very hot at night and we were told A/C was not available. would need it in the Summer.

Our stay here was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and I really appreciated being allowed to take a teapot of hot water to my room each night! My daughter loved the hotel cat, Luna, and the varied breakfast was a great start for the day. The rooms are lovely, large, comfortable and stylish and the courtyard and leafy plants give a great sense of calm after a busy day sightseeing. The location is perfect. It takes about 10 mins to walk to the twisty streets of Trastevere, 20 mins to walk to St Peters square and about 15 to walk over the bridge to get into the Centro Storico. I think it was 20 mins from here to the Pantheon. I would heartily recommend staying here and not the Centro Storico. It was less busy but with no sense of missing out. The Hotel is also 5 mins from Villa Farnese and a small but lovely gallery Corsini, which is a bit of a gem if you have time to spare. Hugely recommend.
