Great welcome by receptionist. Nice clean room with nice air conditioning. Great cleaners done the room very nice every day. Short walk from the train station. Local to bus stops to go to every tourist spot.

Our stay at Hotel Chicago was delightful, thanks to their outstanding hospitality. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and promptly guided to our room. To our surprise, the hotel had prepared a lovely gesture for my wife’s birthday—a rose and a small gift in the room. It was a beautiful touch that made our experience extra special. The location is excellent, being very close to Termini station, which provides convenient access to trains and transport to the airport. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and shops, making it easy to grab a meal or purchase souvenirs. Additionally, it’s just a short fifteen-minute walk to the start of Rome’s main attractions. This is a simple hotel without many facilities or amenities, but it’s perfect for a short stay of two to three days. If you’re planning a brief trip, it’s a great choice.

Unfortunately, the shower drain didn’t work properly, and the water would take a long time to go down, which made showering a bit inconvenient. We reported it to the hotel, but the issue persisted, likely due to a more significant plumbing problem. However, this wasn’t enough to ruin our overall experience. Another downside, though not the hotel’s fault, is the area around Termini station at night. On one occasion, we felt unsafe walking back to the hotel and were followed until we reached the entrance. For future guests, I’d recommend avoiding the streets near Termini late at night and using the back streets instead, which felt much safer. During the day, however, the area is completely fine.

I want to highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I was welcomed with a smile and a great energy every day of my stay. I even forgot some things in my room after I left and they kindly helped me retrieve them and get them back, which is does not always happen, so I am extremely grateful for their kindness and honesty. The facilities were very clean, the location is very convenient and close to the main station so coming in with luggage from the airport was no trouble at all and the internet worked very well ( not always the case ) Thank you for the great stay :)

Walls are a bit thin, but it's not a big deal.

Receptionists were extremely friendly and efficient. We had more conversation with Benjamin, but both receptionists were great. The location is perfect - very close to Termini, but in the backyard, not the main street. Hotel is clean (and comfortable for that category). Anyway, we spent all day outside.

There was a bit noisy when the garbage was collected, but you cannot expect total silence in that area. In summary, we enjoyed our staying in the hotel Chicago.

I was impressed by the clearness of the room. Not even a little bit of dust or mold in the bathroom. It is a budget hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. It is located in the inner courtyard so don't expect a view, but because of that it is very quiet, no noise at all. Great location for exploring the city. For a couple of nights it is a great hotel. The staff was nice, they let us leave the luggage at the hotel since we had an afternoon flight.

The room was as described and this hotel is great for the price that we paid. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the amenities were as expected. We used the room only for sleeping and showering, and it was perfect for that.

There is some noise in the neighborhood in the mornings if the windows are kept open. There is also not much soundproofing so you can hear when other rooms are coming and going.

A great value for money and a great location. The area is near the Termini station which makes it easy getting anywhere in Rome and to the airport. The area is full with restaurants and we had a great time staying there. The room looked very nice with a classic style, clean and equipped with electric kettle and even a coffee machine. The check in and check out were easy and quick. A perfect place to stay in Rome with budget in mind.

Location is good with connections to termini and the metro a stones throw a way. You can also walk to trevi fountain in 20 mins and the colusseum in 20 mins too! The room itself was dated but it was clean and they tended to our room everyday. The staff were lovely. We had previously read online that the hotel doesn't offer luggage storage but ignore that as they do and the staff are super helpful. There is no lift but the staff offer to help carry bags/cases

The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, which isn't the worst as there are plenty of cafes nearby but it's to be aware of. The entrance to the hotel is down a shared ally that leads to a fairly unwelcoming court yard and the initial street it's on isn't the best.. Bussly in the day but dead at night.. this isn't a hotel if you want to walk out the door straight into night life. But the Trevi area is and is only a 20 mins walk away. Or you can get the tube or bus

Very clean and nice room, the bathroom was better and bigger than in many other similar hotels near the railway station. Excellent bed.

No lift and no breakfast. But there is a really good bar accross the street serving breakfast.

We were four girls and it wasn’t big and comfortable room where you should stay with your partner in romantic holiday, but if have a trip in Rome with friends then is very good choice, worth for money and it need just 5 minutes from Termini station and it’s so easy to reach. The receptionist was so kind and Georgian housekeeper was so lovely.
