We stayed in Hotel Flavia for 5 nights. Hotel is on great location and very well connected with Ciampino airport. 5 minutes walking from Piazza Della Repubblica where is the metro station, but we walked everywhere. Hotel is 10 min walk from Piazza Venezia and 15 min walk from Trevi Fontain and Pantheon. Staff is very polite, welcoming and supportive with decent level of English. Reception is open 24/7 and the area around hotel feels very safe, as there are some government institutions around. There are also cameras on every floor in the hotel. Around hotel there are some pizzerias and bars. There is also very nice restaurant just next door to the hotel. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, including towels change and in general they are really taking good care of hygiene. Breakfast was decent for Italian standards, considering Italians are not really famous for heavy breakfast. But, as any mid-level hotel, the breakfast is almost the same every day. However, that was good enough for us to start the day, as we anyhow had plenty of pizzas, pastas and gelatos during our stay :-)

Except of same breakfast every day, there is nothing else we consider as a lowlight. We really had a great stay in hotel Flavia.

Nice hotel in close to main train station Termini, Republic metro station, Villa Borghese and generally in walking distance to all main attractions. The room was very clean with good Wifi signal and aircon. Staff was very helpful and exceptionally hardworking and nice. Good breakfast and if you ask they would make you a nice cup of coffee

The room itself was small, not even some space for a chair, while the bathroom size was actually ok. Also the bed matrass was very hard even to the person who sleep on the hard matrass all the time

Staff were great, cooler and safe in room were a bonus. Breakfast room was varied and tasty, cooler rear facing bedroom. Location good, free map, quite far from collosseum though. But Near Main Railway. Would definitely stay again. And I recommend it.

No long mirror in bedroom, sink plug was broke, they did a very quick temporary fix though, house keeping was beds, bins and towels, but didn't refill teas etc, no milk (reception helped with this) and didn't take dirty glasses away. Room air con only goes down to 20.

Room was small but it was enough for us for the stay, comfy beds, large bathroom and shower, pity there is no acctual window in the room, its loos like is in the bathroom but when you are going to Rome you wont be looking out the window.... Location is very good as well, 10-15 min walking to Termini station, 20 min to Di Trevi fountain.... Breakfast is basic but fresh. some bacon, scrambled eggs, cold mushroom and beans. Good choice of cereals, yogurts, bread, jams....and of course sweet part of beakfast pastries... big selection everyday. Nice selection of coffiees and teas, juices .....

The location is perfect - there are several bus stops very close and a metro station on 5-10 minutes walking. The room was big, comfy with almost everything available. The breakfast was okay - nothing special, but certainly good enough.

The water in the shower was warm on the first day, but got progressively colder and colder with every day. Another very small thing - there were no slippers in the room. But to be noted - we never complained to the staff about any of this, so maybe the issues are resolvable if you ask.

I liked the value for money. As I understand it, by Rome’s standards, the breakfast was amazing – there was ham, cheese, salami, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, beans, and mushrooms. There was also a variety of pastries – croissants, pie, and other buns – as well as juices, fruits, coffee, and yogurts. Everything was plentiful. We were able to enjoy a tasty and satisfying meal. The reception desk operates 24/7, and they don’t charge extra for late check-ins, which was important for us. The staff was polite and friendly, both at the reception and during breakfast, which was very pleasant. The bathroom had excellent large towels. There was a fridge in the room. At night, the room was quiet, and there was no street noise at all. The vintage elevator was beautiful. The location is excellent. The place was clean, and housekeeping was done daily. We liked everything. Thank you!

As with any historic building, there was a slight sewage smell, but that’s normal. You can simply close the bathroom door, and the smell won’t enter the room. The bed was quite firm, but that’s a minor issue during any trip. There wasn’t much of a view from the window, but that’s also insignificant since we came to explore the beautiful city of Rome!

The breakfast was basic, but we made do. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The bedding was not what I am used to but we made do, the ventilation could be improved. Hotel Flavia is located in a great area, about 500 m from Repubblica metro station, and within walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Villa Borghese. The neighbourhood is very safe for lovely walks day or night. There are several restaurants and local cafes. It was a great authentic atmosphere .

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially considering our late arrival. Check-in was quick and efficient, and our room was ready and waiting for us. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a well-maintained bathroom. The hotel's location was convenient, just a 15-minute walk from Roma Termini train station. This made it easy to explore the city. While it's primarily geared towards students, I found it to be a great option for short stays (up to four days). The daily cleaning service was discreet and efficient. Additionally, the included continental breakfast was a delightful surprise. I enjoyed fresh cappuccinos and coffees, along with a variety of croissants, eggs, sausage, and other delicious options to suit all tastes. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location.

While we appreciated the spacious room, we did encounter a minor issue with the bed. The queen bed was actually composed of two twin mattresses pushed together, which resulted in a noticeable gap forming between them during the night. While we were able to manage this inconvenience, we would suggest that the hotel consider replacing the twin mattresses with a single queen-size mattress to ensure a more comfortable sleeping experience for guests.

Localization of the hotel is very good. There are two possibilities you can walk to the main attractions or you can use a metro. I used both. Cleaning and exchange of towels is done every day. I also liked the helpful people in the reception. There is also a pick-up service available from and to the airport. Good restaurants in the near. Breakfast is available from 07.00.

Sometimes there is a bit too noisy on the street so in order to avoid this inconvenience you should ask for the rooms from the other side of the hotel.
