We stayed in the newly renovated second building down the road and it was a large space for the area - good value for money! Decent WiFi, comfy bed. Great (but insanely packed) location.

The shower was broken - it would only work for the hand-held extension and not the overhead shower. It was also plugged and nearly flooded the bathroom. They also forgot to give us the WiFi password and it wasn’t posted anywhere. It was also a bit of a pain to have to type in an entry code every time we wanted to enter the building. I understand wanting to expand the hotel, but having a front desk there as well would feel much more welcoming instead of needing to walk down the road to ask questions and check out/in.

Our outside, air-conditioned suite faced a quiet street, 50 m away from the Trevi fountain. It was spacious enough for us not to feel claustrophobic. A scrumptious breakfast was served on a pretty top floor in the main building, Our location was central to all attractions, dining and shopping. Once we had orientated ourselves, we mostly walked.

Like all cities around the world, pick pockets and scamsters are abundant, the hotel, restaurants warned us within the first half hour of our arrival, the best advice is: Do not engage in any form of conversation, however friendly it may seem!!! Do not accept any trinkets, flowers, bangles, seed for birds etc., once touched, you have to pay for it! Of course, unless you want to.

Hotel Trevi is in a great location for tourists, close to main attractions of Rome. It's tucked away on a side street, away from the crowds at Trevi Fountain, and, so it's quiet. I have stayed there twice and would choose it again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, offered lots of choices, and was served in a lovely glassed-in roof terrace.

We stayed in one of several outbuildings this time. The rooms were fine, but the air conditioning was not as good. Our visit was in April, and both rooms were a little stuffy on a warm night. This could be a problem in the summer. The building has an elevator. We used the stairway, which was dim. There's lighting, but on our floor, you had to know where the hallway switch was, to turn it on. We didn't figure that out the first night, and I used a flashlight to go down the steps. This could be a trip and fall problem for guests. Recommend the hotel improves the stairwell lighting, and adds motion-sensor lighting on higher floor stairwells. Maybe some yellow safety stripes in one or two spots.

The breakfast was excellent. Fresh cooked veggies, eggs, eats, displayed beautifully. The breafast room was comfortable and spacious. We brought my small pet and it was welcomed every where. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was exceptional and unique. Perfect location. Also, there was an acrheological site on the property; free entrence if you stayed in the hotel.... Wow a free beee!

The elevator was small, but it was Rome! And we have to do like the Romans! We were able to work arround the small size.

Honestly is was odd, once we checked-in into the hotel desk with a person with a very rude attitude we were escolte to a building about 2 blocks away, after they show how to get into our suite (5 keys later) they explain that the common areas(living room, dining and kitchen) are share by others guests. Which they were on the last night of our stay. However our two room rooms were spacious and comfortable, but we felt invaded having people so close. This supposed to be a upgraded, I actually paid double the daily rate and BOOKING didn’t adjust it.

Very central location, right next to Trevi Fountain. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had booked a family room and were upgraded to the most beautiful suite with so much room for us and two teenagers. It was a two minute walk from main hotel through a random gate, but absolutely spectacular when through, a cobbled courtyard with various statues and fountains. We had a shared kitchen and sitting area with one other room. Stunning ceilings and character. Rooms were cleaned every day. Staff organised taxi for transfer back to airport too.

Absolutely nothing! It was stunning!

I love that it is clean. But, elevator is very small, no soap dish. My friend's flight got delayed & she arrived late. I asked the front desk on what is the procedure when she arrives. Front desk told me that it is required to have her arrive in the front desk because they are going to check her in themselves. So, I thought I can just sleep & not worry about it. When she arrived I ended up fetching her on the front desk & I am in another street Wrong information endorsement among staff.

Elevator-too small, no uniform implementation & unclear policies.

Room was spacious, quiet and very clean. It was in an excellent location for first time travellers to Rome. Easy walking distance to the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Pantheon. Easy 10 minute walk to train station to go to the Vatican and Colosseum. The hotel is located in the heart of shopping and outdoor cafes. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

You needed 4 different keys to open 4 different doors to access the room.
