The view was beyond amazing. The pillows are the best I’ve ever used! Finally some pillows that aren’t solid like a brick. Also lots of lovely restaurants nearby

Very noisy. Maybe should have realised from the location. You can hear everything from the road. Unfortunately there was a festival nearby that went on until the early hours. So I didn’t sleep too well.

The Location is insane! View out of the window is a once in a lifetime experience. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and polite.

Everything seemed extremely outdated, our towels did not get changed once. Room is due for a makeover and I bet with the money this location brings in yearly it could be turned into an absolute gem!

I loved having a room with view of the collesseum! This was my first time in Rome. It's a bargain price compared to Palazzo Manfredi. It has the same views and costs way less!!

The safe in hotel room was broken and I had to tour the Collesseum, crypts, catacombs, and the Vatican museum, with my passport in my pocket.

You cannot beat the view and - if you're there to see Ancient Rome - the location! Great service, very responsive staff. We had an issue with our first room because the AC dripped on the floor all night, but they moved us while we were touring the colosseum and the 2nd room was great!

The pipes are very load when you shower or use the toilet, but it's an old area. Avoid the tourist trap restaurants nearby, in our experience, if they are standing outside drumming up customers, the food is not worth it.

Friendly reception staff, helpful and guided us showing us a map which he wrote all of the local hotspots and tourist areas. He basically planned a walking route for us which was great. Great view of the Colosseum. Exactly as seen in the photos. Rooms are dated and quirky but spaced well, there was a nook by the window to read with the view. Very clean

Not the most modern, old building with old rooms. But the view and the staff made up for it.

outstanding view. helpful staff. lovely clean room. well priced for its location. sightseeing bus stop over the road, takes you via lots of must see spots- Spanish steps/fountain/ pyramid/ Vatican etc. small supermarket (24hr) in the next road, pharmacy 10 min walk. lots of restaurants very close. full taxi rank outside front door. spent lots of time in the window seat watching the world go by. highly recommend.

the property was very traditional, perfect location for colosseum although a little walk from trevi, pantheon etc, what I loved was the room had great air-con, the bed was very comfy!! but only one pillow each? pictures show a lot more, but either way it was such a comfy bed, nice and dark in the mornings, no noise, slept great. my partner loved sitting on the window people watching whilst I got ready, metres away from a cute bakery, restaurants and a mini supermarket.

The location and view were exceptional. The was a great base to have whilst experiencing Rome.

Downstairs was cold so was chilly when getting out of the shower. The taxi rank is quite noisy outside. But we got ear plugs so that was fine.

Absolutely breathtaking view from the room directly to the Colosseo. Perfect location also as a starting point to your sightseeing tour. Andrea, the manager, was very kind, helpful and told us everything what we need to know. Our room (1st floor) was quite small, but absolutely enough for young couple. I can´t confirm in the reviews mentioned noise from the water pipes and from the neighbours, we have heard nothing disturbing. You have to realize, that you are in ancient city and in very old building. And that view pays for everything.

The door couldn´t open completely, you have to slide into the room, fatty people cant go through, I guess. :-)
