Location. The B&B is situated on the bluff overlooking the Colosseum. As an added benefit, directly beneath the hotel there is the Colosseo metro station, which you can use to move about the city, with additional stops close to the Spanish Steps (Spagna) and the Vatican (Ottaviano ‘San Pietro’). You just need to change metro lines (blue to orange) at the train station (Termini) which is easily done without buying another ticket. Additionally, there is a Carrefour Express supermarket within close walking distance where you can purchase food and drinks to store in the room’s mini-fridge.

Breakfast. You are provided tickets to a restaurant at the side of the B&B, which only entitles you to a coffee/capuchino and a danish or sandwich. As well, the restaurant did not open early enough for us to catch a 7am taxi to the airport. It would be nice if the B&B upgraded their agreement with the restaurant to provide a more continental breakfast. No staff. All communication between the B&B and yourself is done vía WhatsApp (or texting). Although they were attentive and responded in a timely manner, at times I felt like I was missing out on an experience by not having hotel staff for tips and recommendations.

The young lady there at our arrival was just finished cleaning. While we could not communicate easily as I do not speak Italian, she was exceedingly patient and welcoming, answering my questions via Google Translate. She physically showed me how to use keys for exterior doors, enter codes and use locks (because I couldn’t figure it out at first). She let us check in early, which was much appreciated. The room was very comfortable, clean, bed, very nice, soft, but in a “just-right” way with support. It’s right across the street from the Coliseum. Perfect location!

The breakfast tickets should have explained that we could have coffee and a croissant down at the restaurant at street level. We didn’t use the first morning. The next day we did and it was delish!

Tre R Colosseo is a lovely place to stay that is literally and directly across from the Coliseum! Location is exceptional and near the Monti neighborhood which has many excellent and authentic small restaurants with fabulous food and drinks! Great contact with the owners that not only keep you informed about your stay, but answer questions and give great restaurant recommendations! For accessing the doors to the property, both keys and codes are provided with thorough directions to find the property. My daughters and I loved staying here! Highly recommend!

Nothing really.

The location is excellent, the rooms are excellent. Everything in Rome on your doorstep, so close to all the sights and some absolutely brilliant restaurants recommended by our host. If you have not seen the Colosseum before. Just step outside the front door. 50m away. See pics

Just one very minor point was some noise from busy area but what do you expect it’s a significant city with lots of people around.

The location was just incredible. Right next to the Colosseum and many nice restaurants. We basically didn’t use the metro because all the sights were 20 minute walks away. The room was quite nice and you could watch Netflix and co on the tv. The AC was an absolute dream!

Unfortunately we did have a couple of cockroaches in the room. I have heard that that is a general problem in Rome at the moment. So keep your luggage closed at any time!

Location!!! Wow..view of the coloessum from the bedroom window. The metro is right beside the bnb. We bought a 48-hour ticket. 25 euro for both of us. It's so worth it. Everything is so close. One, two stops away. Simona sent a WhatsApp with loads of information and recommendations that's were absolutely fab. Very easy find. Just walk.. it amazing what you come across. Fantastic place. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast. 🙈 thought we would fill up for the day and include breakfast, but it's a coffee and croissant. Coffee was nice tho👌

We liked our room and it is really good located. We loved that the metro, bus is near and we could walk a lot in the heart of Rome. We came back every day to a nicely cleaned and prepared room.

We didn't like so much the choice of breakfast. We would appreciate it more if we could had a bigger variety of choices. It was too much sweet things for us. ( Croissant only with sweet fill). A sandwich, croissant with ham and cheese or something salty would have been nice to have on the list.

Location, location, location. As you walk out the door of the hotel, you are faced with the Colosseum. Location can’t get much better than that. It is next to quaint cafes and a nice lunch spot. Communication with our host was great. We were given clear instructions for entering the hotel/room and we were provided several suggestions on places to eat. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a great experience.

Amazing location. Property was simple but spotlessly clean with everything we could need for our 4 nights in Rome. Cleaned daily with a change of towels. Andrea was amazing, she made everything so easy, arranging our taxi to and from the airport and provided recommendations for restaurants. She is always available to help and quick to respond.

Nothing to dislike. Perfect for a short stay.

The room was perfect! Brand new furniture, very comfortable bed! Very clean and cozy! Next to the Colosseum! Its near to everything! We enjoyed walking next to the monuments not being afraid about our return! We enjoyed our included breakfast everyday with a view at the Colosseum! Thank you Simona for all the information you gave us! It was very helpful!! We definitely recommend this apartment and we hope to be there again soon!!
