Amazing apartment and the loveliest host I have ever had. We were welcomed with a cake by a smiled gentleman. He provided us a lot of useful information. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. The Coloseum can be seen by the window. Shops, groceries are very close. Our flight was in the afternoon, but our host kindly let us leave our luggage in the hallway, so we didn’t have to carry it around all day. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciate it. It made our stay even more enjoyable—thank you!

The owner graciously welcomed us to our room and walked us through everything. The room was nicely sized, with a clean bathroom and plenty of storage space. We also appreciated the snacks/water that were included in our mini fridge! The location is truly unbeaten - just one block from the coliseum. The room has excellent soundproofing - even tho it is a bustling neighborhood with two restaurants downstairs, we didn't hear anything during our stay. Overall, a great spot for a great price!

- The bed was a little stiff - the included breakfast was terrible! You get a voucher for the café downstairs which is nice but we only used it one morning cus our dishes were too salty, overcooked, and had no flavor. You are better off finding somewhere else to eat.

Almost everything, the hosts are exquisite people, the room is large enough, the bathroom is perfect. All is clean and well maintained, there is a noise road underneath, but the window is noise-proof. The equipment is suitable for the kind of host the B&B is.

If you need to work, the space is really tight. The refrigerator is closed in the furniture where you keep dressing. Temperature becomes high inside. I would suggest changing the closed door with a semi-open configuration so the refrigerator can breathe.

Max is incredibly kind and manages everything from start to finish with great professionalism. His apartment is just steps from the Colosseum, and the night view exceeded our expectations. All three beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning in every room was a huge plus. We truly had no complaints at all. If you're planning a family trip to Rome, I highly recommend staying here. Grazie mille, Max!

The bathroom was excellent. The room was well appointed and had a great view. I didn't realize we would be a short distance from the Colosseum metro station so it is easy to take subway 2 stops to main train station.

A bit tricky to find details about the floor. You need to carry your luggage up a half flight of stairs to use the old elevator. Like many small hotels, they insist you pay the city fee in cash, no credit card. The breakfast was at a cafe and we were told to pick one item to eat and one drink, so you are better to just buy your breakfast anywhere you like.

I was very skeptical about the breakfast because I read some reviews that indicated that it was only a croissant and a coffee; however, to our surprise, it was a delicious breakfast, with an excellent view and in a superb place, at least the service was excelent. We got the eggs with bacon, manchego cheese and toast with a cappuccino. We went early in the morning, so it was almost empty. On top of that, the location was perfect. This place really exceeded my expectations. Max is a wonderful host. I would hardly recommend this place!

The rooms were very comfortable, cozy, and clean. The apartment is spacious, with two large, spotless bathrooms. The photos don’t do it justice – it’s much more beautiful in reality! The location is perfect. The host, Max, was incredibly kind – despite our very late check-in, he welcomed us with cake and wine. Everything was wonderful. Thank you very much for the lovely stay!

The property is just like the picture. Very clean, good lay out. The host was very helpful, left us some fruit, pastries and Candi. Also gave us some wine as a welcome package.

The host had a book with all the apartment information. He also provided business cards and discounts for the restaurants in the area.

Max is a lovely host; friendly, polite and organised. The facility is well kept, well thought out and there are all sorts of fabulous little extras (such as a fridge which Max popped some free snacks in!) View was stunning! We could see the Colosseum from the window. Sound proofed windows, kettle, cafes downstairs, good recommendations and a really good all round place to stay. Best accommodation of our trip.

Rome is a beautiful place to visit, even for couple of days. But, when it comes to spleep, you need to have something special - and Domus Chiara is such a place. Soooo close to the Colosseo, from the window you can see it. The room is comfortable, with everything that you would need. Located in the old building with extraordinary elevator - classic and tight. Air conditioning, cozy bed, kettle, fully equipped bathroom (could be on a little bit higher level). And, of cource, the hosts - they are so kind and helpful, always for you. Well, highly recommended for sure :)
