As for the location the name says it all. The building is behind the one facing the Colosseum but the window in our room are on the side and allows views of the Colosseum. This is a great base to explore Rome. Don't judge a book by it's cover, on arrival I was concerned about the booking from outside but once we were in our room we were more than happy. This site also has a very small elevator which was fun. A special call out to the reception staff as they were always friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is provided by a café next door and will only provided a limited choice from the menu which varied from day to day.

The hotel was ideally situated just around the corner from the Colosseum. Just a short walk away if you are doing a Colosseum tour. It is also near the Colosseum stop for the Hop On Hop Off tourist buses. The 360degree views from the rooftop terrace are amazing. The hotel is very close to many eating places. Just walk out your front door and you are spoilt for choice. Even though the hotel is close to many amenities, the room is very quiet. Our room was very generous in size. It easily accommodated a couple with large suitcases. The coffee machine was a much appreciated extra. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.

The location is excellent for a first time visitor to the city with very close proximity to the metro station, bus stop and almost within touching distance of the Colosseum itself. The breakfast included in the price was provided by the cafe within the same building and was much appreciated. A fantastic view from the roof terrace gave a unique view of the Colosseum and surrounding area. Special mention to Sylvia who was extremely friendly and assisted us with any issues including the loan of additional travel adapters. Her welcome throughout our stay was very much appreciated.

Great location close to the Colosseum but quiet because it was just around the corner. The hotel is on the 5th floor so you must navigate two steps in the lobby to get to a small elevator. It may be difficult to maneuver for some with heavy luggage. It truly is a boutique hotel, occupying just one floor of the building. While it advertises a rooftop, it is only accessible during hours that the desk is staffed because they must accompany you to enter and exit. We didn't bother to use it, so I can't comment further. Restaurants are nearby to have a decent breakfast, and we recommend exploring further out for lunch & dinner.

One of the staff members at the desk was obviously sick with some kind of respiratory ailment. I wish she would have worn a mask for the benefit of the guests and co-workers.

The location of this by the Colosseum could not be beaten. We were right near the Monti district and it was packed with people at bars, restaurants and just overall that old Rome feel before everything got too touristy (so long as you wandered a few blocks in from the actual Colosseum). The rooftop is only open when the front desk attendant is there so don't plan on going up for cocktails on your own or to watch the sunset; an irresponsible visitor left the roof a mess and ruined it for everyone else, so now they have to monitor. Totally understandable but a bit disappointing. Room was clean, shower hot and great water pressure. Lift worked great for us. We had a rental car we were able to find a street spot for before we returned it at the train station, so that was great. Would recommend avoiding driving just because it's Rome, of course, and there is not a designated space for hotel drop-off or parking. Overall the location was great. For reference, early 40s, traveled as a couple in 3rd week Oct. Rainy one day and 75 the next. Head over to al42 (a ten minute walk) for the BEST pasta we had maybe our entire trip, at reasonable prices. Very much a counter/small seating space but my goodness the food was awesome.

The drop-off and getting in was a bit of a struggle because there is no loading area, so you either get dropped-off by taxi or you go around the block and pray a space opens to park. Close to the Colosseum metro stop but you will be wheeling up a nice inclined hill. The guy working the first night (Chris, I think) was wonderful. The girl the next morning, not helpful or friendly at all, but sometimes that happens!

The hotel is located next to the Colosseum, it is extremely clean and comfortable and the view from the terrace is to die for. Rossana is a real credit to this hotel, she helped me with the order of a birthday cake for my partner’s 50th birthday, she booked us a table at a restaurant where the food was incredible, she called us a taxi and she gave us directions how to get to the hotel and what transportation to avoid. She is absolutely amazing, she truly made our stay unique . We can’t thank you enough Rossana, you made us feel so welcome and Mark’s birthday wonderful.

We met lovely staff members Rossana and Christopher.. Rossana was in email contact with me prior to our visit and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Rooms were a good size, bed and pillows comfortable and great shower. Location absolutely superb. We didn't have a Colosseum view but there are some available. Numerous restaurants and bars adjacent. Unfortunately we just had a one night stay this time due to other commitments but if and when we return to beautiful Rome we would have absolutely no hesitation returning to Colosseum Corner!

A point of information really...the guest house is on the 4th floor. Access is by stairs or beautiful old type lift but more than once we had to locate the lift on other floors and close the doors before using it...not the fault of CC but lack of consideration by other occupants of the building! If breakfast is included in your stay it is served at a cafe/restaurant around the corner from the guest house. You need to exit the building which didn't bother us but it might others.

We had the 4-bed room (double bed plus two fold-out beds). It was super clean, just about big enough with sufficient storage space and the bathroom was also really clean and well designed. It has everything you need if you're crashing in Rome for a few days. The staff were very friendly, very welcoming. Location-wise, the place is in a building across from the Colosseum, also a few minutes from the 'Colosseo' Metro station and with the other main sites of Rome easily walkable. I just upgraded my rating on this accommodation. Rossana was kind enough to call me and talk through some of my comments and propose improvements, etc. I was very pleasantly surprised by this, hence the upgrade.

Important to note that this is not a hotel, as you might expect. It is a 4th floor apartment that has been converted into a few bedrooms with a front desk in the entrance space. It took us a few minutes to find the place on arriving at the address - and we weren't the only guests unable to find it straight away. The 'breakfast' is a voucher for a cafe around the corner, with limited options. But this is also an area where the team is looking to make improvements so future guests will have it much better :-)

The location could not have been better—just steps from the Colosseum with easy access to the Forum and metro. The room was modern, spacious, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches like a coffee station and soundproofing. The staff were amazing, very friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

The lift wasn’t working during our visit, but this didn’t dampen our stay as the staff did everything possible to make us comfortable despite this minor inconvenience.

The staff! The location is surely wonderful... the room is nice, clean and with everything we might desire. We had a much better experience than our friends staying in a 5 star hotel (for a much smaller and smaller price)! The big difference with other hotels was the attention to small things and... and a really kind and efficient staff! ;-)
