Exceptional stay at Maison Imperiale. We booked it to spend a romantic weekend in Rome with my husband and it did not disappoint. The location is just perfect with a view to the Colosseum. The facilities were nice and it had everything we needed. Good water pressure, good shades, absolutely no noise and the cleanliness of the room just wow. I have stayed in over 100 places in my life and nothing was ever so spotless clean. It felt like they did a deep clean every morning. The staff was also incredibly nice and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and the breakfast in bed everyday was such a nice touch. They even offered to make adjustments if we didn't like something (if the hotel manager reads this -> they deserve a raise)

The only thing i could maybe say is that the wifi was a little spotty. We had a modem in our room so it was most likely the provider that had troubles.

Its a nice apartment hotel in heart of Rome. Very nearby Metro and walking distance to Colosseum and ancient Rome and many historical land marks. There are plenty af nice bars and restaurants right about the corner. The room by itself is very new renovated clean and nice with a king bed and new bath room. You have nice breakfast in your bed every. HD TV channels and many more.

This boutique hotel was awesome! We were here a week and we felt like it was our home. The staff was very friendly, helpful and always professional. Would especially like to give a special Thank you to front desk staff person Rhyan, who went above and beyond in making our stay very comfortable - He was the Best! We really appreciated being able to dine and go as we pleased with our own set of keys, made our Daily plans so easy. We really appreciated the daily morning breakfast made to order and brought to our room every morning at our specified time. It made the beginning of our day very nice, and one day when we had to leave for a tour earlier than normal breakfast time- Rhyan asked if we’d like a cold breakfast the night before, which consisted of orange juice, bread with butter/jelly and cake. That was so nice and worked out perfectly, so we could eat a little something before we left. The room was very comfortable and staff always supplied us with everything we needed. The actual location can not be beat! We were within steps of the Colosseum! Made it so easy to go tour and not to mention all the restaurants, gelato places, and taxi stand right down the street! We even had our laundry done one day because it was so convenient! This hotel may cost a little more but it’s central location and comfort, plus staff made it a great place to see Rome and all its historical wonders. Just can’t say enough good things!

The neighborhood could get a little noisy at night due to bars & restaurants in area and touristy location, but that should be expected. Each room has air conditioning so you could keep your window closed of needed for more quiet.

The location is excellent being right beside the Colosseum. The room is very spacious and well equipped. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a good continental style served in your room.

We got the Colosseum view and were a bit disappointed because the view was not directly out the window, but you could see the Colosseum if you looked at an angle or opened the window and looked out. But the location was still fantastic.

Breakfast was good. Very prompt and sufficient. The mixed breakfast was excellent.

Initially when I booked on booking.com I thought it was a hotel. So that is what I was expecting but it turned out to be a b and b which was the disappointing bit. However I could not fault the place very clean and staff where friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, hard to find initially as I was looking for a hotel!!! However we were able to walk into the city and having the colloseum right beside you was really good.

Great location, yet silent and safe, air conditioning, the hotel staff was very friendly and also helped us to book a reliable taxi to the airport!

The door lock to the hotel was quite old and did not work very well all the time, luckily the reception was open at the time we got stuck :)

I loved the location of the property. Close to the Colosseum and other attractions. The location was perfect to do other touristy things. The whole breakfast-in-bed thing was great too. Restaurants were close so we were not short of options when it came to food.

Instead of a queen or king-size bed, it was two single beds that were put together and they kept moving apart, which made sleeping a bit difficult sometimes. Water was not provided or available to drink when requested.

It was perfect for our visit. My friend wanted to be near the Colosseum and the Vatican City. We found it to be very central to all of Rome and the hop on hop off buses were very convenient. It was also walking distance to all amenities. Very nice quiet location with some excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was modern, elegant, comfortable and we were able to leave our luggage on our last day until we collected for the airport. A very pleasant and memorable stay. I will use them again and again.

The breakfast was a little bit skimpy. no fruit, only a yoghurt and tiny expresso coffee, salami and cheese with toast and crackers and jam. A bit more coffee would have been better and 1 piece of fresh fruit.

We choose this B&B due to its location -- right next to the Colosseum -- and we were not disappointed. Clean and modern inside, but the City of Rome needs to clean up the streets, sidewalks and graffitti which seem to dominate the city, including just outside the B&B. Great restuarants within walking distance. We stayed June 7 when we arrived in Rome, and then again June 20 on our way home from Rome (rest of the trip was in Tuscany)

Streets and sidewalks had trash, and many walls painted with graffiti in the area and the entire city. Not the fault of Maison Imperiale!

it was right in the middle of the attractions and close to the metro

I don’t have any problem with the property but I did have a problem getting into it. it’s advertised as a hotel but it is a very good Air B & B. They have a problem with who ever does there translating for them. They me plenty of emails asking would I like to check in on line and I choose to ignore them when it should read “ you must check in on line “
