Although it is not a real hotel but a set of luxury rooms with breakfast service, you can feel like you are in a lovely boutique hotel. Room was spacious and very comfortable, everything was clean and tidy. For breakfast, you choose day before what you want them to prepare for you, as well as time that suits you best (8-10am). You also have a tea maker and mini bar in room, while in common area you can make your own espresso coffee. Location is great, right in the center of Rome where you are surrounded by numerous shops, bars and restaurants, and all the major attractions are close enough to reach them on foot. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, yet not intrusive. Thank you Paola for helping to organize transportation to the airport! I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to enjoy Rome!

Maison Evelina was a big wonderful surprise.Location, the best.Although google says,5 min from Spanish steps ,it is even less, like 2 min.You go out the front door and you are seconds from the most wonderful boutiques and coffee shops and all the action.Our room, number 3 ,was big and tastefully decorated, with a wonderful bathroom and walk in shower.I need to mention here a really interesting detail.The painting in the bathroom!!When the light was switched on you saw a painting on the wall.When you switched off the light ,and it was dark then........So COOL !!!!!!!Aurora ,and Paulina the tall lady at the reception were so nice, and smiling and helpful.Breakfast is served in the small reception area, and you order your breakfast the previous night.James and May are wonderful .They prepare everything with care and they are polite and happy.I wonder if you could take your breakfast and enjoy it the nice sitting area they have.As the reception ladies work only specific hours I was a little worried how the check in process would be. Well ,it went perfect.Easy fast and efficient check in, even if the personnel is not there.

We enjoyed the hotel, very clean and our host was very helpful and answered our questions on getting around. We were frazzled as the airline lost our luggage, but the location was near to everything we needed to find clothes and toiletries until we could get our luggage. Amazing shopping with every designer you can imagine, but also nearby to other attractions such as the Trevi fountain and within a 10 minute drive to the other major attractions such as the Vatican, coliseum. and the Forum, so easy to access. Definitely would recommend,

Our stay at Maison Evelina was almost perfect and completely fuss-free. As a couple traveling from Asia to Italy, we truly felt the warm hospitality that defines this wonderful place. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Alessandro, whose amazing warmth immediately made us feel welcome. Daily breakfast was a delight, served by Jim, who went above and beyond—not only did he serve us a fantastic meal each morning, but he also ensured our room was sparkling clean, surpassing the standards of many 5-star hotels. Another major plus was the location; Maison Evelina is conveniently situated near all the major tourist areas. We were able to walk everywhere and didn’t even need to take a taxi throughout our trip.

Maison Evelina is a boutique hotel, there’s only 6 rooms and everything is very personalized. The breakfast menu is pretty good and it’s made fresh for you, from 8 to 10am. The rooms have a great size and the location is amazing. You are just a few steps from all the main attractions. The metro is also very close. The staff is also friendly, especially Lori! We really enjoyed our days at Roma!

I personally didn’t like to much that the breakfast started at 8. For us, that love to wake up early, was a little too late. Also 2 days they had a little problem with the water heating system and we didn’t had hot water. But despite of that inconvenient situation, everything was fine.

The location and room size are perfect! The room is spacious like a 1 bedroom apartment. You are literally on the shopping street and just about 10 to 15 mins walk to all the attractions. There are lots of good restaurants around this area. This bed and breakfast serve a decent breakfast. Bed is comfortable. The host, Evelina, is friendly and attentive. Overall, we enjoyed the stay at Maison Evelina.

The room heater doesn't work too well. We are not able to adjust the room heater from the room itself. We checked into the room at 9pm, it was freezing cold when walk into the room and there were no staff at the reception counter to assist us. We only managed to speak to the receptionist on the next morning to assist with the room heater. And it takes about 20 minutes to warm up the room. The heater can only be adjusted by the host remotely. So when the heater gets too warm, we can't adjust it down, too. Shower hot water is a bit difficult to adjust. . These are the only parts I think need to be improved.

It is nice hotel. Breakfast is enough, the rooms was a bit small but nice designed and it was very clean. The location is good, there is plenty of store options on street, in the evenings it is calm and quite.

Employees of hotel is very kind and friendly except of Italian lady. We say hello and good morning when we see another as basics of human being. You shouldn’t remind people for their check out before saying any greetings or an basic hello :)

This location is superb, is stone throw to Spanish Steps and many shopping streets. Walking distance to Trevi fountain too, also near metro which is also very convenient. Many good restaurants for dinner. Hotel room is spacious for couple, very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was great, prepared fresh and hot for you as you can opt for the breakfast timing and select the food options you require. Love the apartment alot and highly recommend to stay =) Also, Lorni helped with car arrangement to airport and make sure we were well taken care of.

Easily accessible by metro, major attractions walkable, easy via taxi (in the morning) or metro (all within 30 minutes - Vatican 15 by metro, Panthean 20 min walk, Spanish Steps 3 min walk, etc.). Great communication from hosts. Great breakfast. Hosts were very helpful with any question as well and coordinating airport rides for return.

We had 4 people and finding places for 4 is hard in Rome. This is not actually a complaint. It would be a great to have a bit more space. The apartment we found though was an incredible value for the money & location.
