Great location - very quiet yet only minutes away from bars, cafes etc. and close to railway station if needed. The little square where the hotel was located was picturesque with the typical 'shabby chic' look of Venice. The university was located just a few minutes away - down the main alley/street beside the square - and the student cafe (open to the public) beside a canal near the railway offered coffee and pastries etc. at cheap prices for breakfast. Loads of bars and cafes just to stop, relax and people-watch. No cars which was excellent. Use Allilaguna ferry to and from airport (€15each), follow blue signs from airport and buy ticket from machine at pier. We only used the waterbus once to coast down the Grand Canal for the experience - €9. Catch it at the first stop for the best seats as most people catch it from the railway station (second stop) - not really worth buying an expensive 24/48 hour ticket as everywhere is accessible by foot. We stayed for 3 nights and wouldn't have needed any more that that as Venice City is quite compact. We then took the train to Rome - best price in advance via Trainline. (Trenitalia - Frecciarossa).

My son and I were visiting my daughter who is at Uni in Venice. The B&B is small and comfortable. We weren’t sure what to expect as it wasn’t expensive. But we were given the loft room and were pleasantly surprised to find we had a small kitchen with fridge, a breakfast bar and small coffee table/ breakfast area. However, the best part was an outside terrace on the roof. If you’re expecting the Ritz, you’ll be sadly disappointed but we found it clean and perfect for my son and I. A bit by off the beaten track but a lovely little place.

A bit of a walk into the centre. You definitely need good walking shoes for Venice no matter where you stay.

Located conveniently near the train station in Venice, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel has done the basics right, offering a comfortable and functional stay at an affordable price—especially commendable in a city as expensive as Venice. The property has a charming vintage look, which adds to its unique character. The bathroom was well-maintained and a highlight of the room, offering modern amenities in a cozy setting. Despite its proximity to the train station, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, making it a great spot for relaxation.

One thing to note is that the hotel is slightly farther from major attractions like St. Mark’s Square or the Rialto Bridge, but the location is ideal for those who prefer a quieter area with easy access to transportation.

Small, quiet 2 star, near train station, csn also be reached by vaporetto to CREA (4.2). Room was very large (for Venice), clean. Beds comfortable. The only critcism is that the small shower door is fitted poorly so water gets out onto the bathroom floor. This is a recurring complaint. It's time for a door replacement. Good Basic breakfast in small area near desk but the manager even went out and bought more coffee for us (when they ran out). Not the Hilton, but very good value for the money. Would stay there again. Several restaurants are within 3 minute walks. In Coniareggio, so no tourists!

It was a bit difficult to find it, but that’s usually the case in Venice. Clean room and spacious bathroom. I like the fact that we didn’t have to carry a key to enter the building. It works with a code and then you do get a key for your room. The staff were very patient. Our train got delayed and we arrived very late at night. And even though there was no one at the front desk to received us, they always kept in touch and gave us the code to get in once we arrived at the hotel.

There is room for improvement with the breakfast. It sounds like there’s a lot on the menu but everything really comes in tiny packages, more like snacks.

Very close to the train station - depart station down the far end platform where it will eventually exit onto a path near the university, which is very close to accommodation. Was basic, clean, and comfortable - exactly what we need for a stay. Was a bit of a walk to the main piazza / rialto bridge, but don't let that put you off. The walk there is all part of exploring through the canals!

Very minor thing but shower door was small, so water got on the bathroom floor.

Comfy bed and beautiful place with a clean bathroom and AC which helped a lot in July. Check-in was easy and is a very close walk to the train station.

Location is a bit far outside the city center but I think this is a plus. You get to see a whole different quiet beautiful side of Venice compared to the standard tourist on your walk balk to to the hotel. You do have to walk though :)

Our stay was great. The host was amazing - super communicative, friendly and accommodating. The place was nice, clean and in a great location. We accidentally misread the checkout time but the host was incredibly kind and let us pack up after 10 without any rush which we really appreciated.

The only issue we encountered was that the bathroom ventilation didn’t seem to work.

The room was nice with en-suite bathroom and was a good size, it was quite easy to find so it was simple to get to carrying our luggage. The hosts were helpful and were kind enough to let us use the office fridge. We had a few problems with the room and when we spoke to the hosts they kindly moved us to another room. There are many rooms available for many different prices and this one I consider to be good value for money.

The bed was squeaky and the shower leaked but when mentioned the hosts moved us to another room.

Its more a family house than a hotel. Older furniture but decently clean, and the location is a bit from the center but quiet to walk and you can have lunsh were the locals eat (e.g. da'a Marisa) and go to the cafe at the university for breakfast. Staff is very friendly. I could use the fridge in the kitchen, to keep my beer cold. Best is the very good price of course!
