This extraordinary boutique hotel is located on a quiet canal, just a few blocks from all the vibrancy that Venice has to offer. Extremely friendly engaged and helpful Front Desk, supporting a beautifully restored property. Spacious and modern rooms, out of this world breakfasts, and a beautiful tranquil courtyard make this an extraordinary find in Venice. One would never know that crowds and businesses fill the sidewalks, a few hundred yards away. Oh, and water taxis are available a few steps from the front door. Perfect location - perfect place to stay. All the past positive reviews are true to form.

There is nothing about this hotel that is not a 10. The team at the front check in desk were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, quick and understanding. It felt like they were always a step ahead of our requests. There is a very nice foyer/bar with good nibbles, but actually good food. We had a really long travel day, got in really late, headed down for an Aperol Spritz and had a pleasantly good dinner, ordered from a table in the bar. The bar tender, Massimo, takes very good care of his bar patrons. He's pleasant, fun and generous. I can not say enough about our room. We had a room on the 4th floor with 2 terraces and a hot tub. The room was huge, the terraces had opposing views, the room was spotless, we simply can not say enough about this hotel. It is very conveniently located to the vaporetto stop that can get you anywhere. We walked from the hotel to St. Mark's, which was long, but it's so interesting and fun with so many selfie stops, you barely notice the time. This hotel is actually within walking distance of the airport, it took maybe 15 minutes, but if you have heavy luggage, take the vaporetto, as there are a couple of bridges. The morning breakfast served here (if you include it in your reservation) is wonderful, a huge variety, a bottle of prosecco every morning, just because they can. Plenty of hot options as well as meats/fruit/pastries. I can only give this a 10, but know, it's like a 100. You will not be disappointed. A huge shout out to the owners/management of this hotel. Spot on services and amenities.

I enjoyed the easy access to everything in Venice, i could walk everywhere. Lots of great restaurants around the hotel and a few mtrs from the water bus station. The gentleman at the bar really went above and beyond to make our stay here a pleasant one. He even prepared a delicious pasta dish for us that i rate as one the best meals i have had in Italy.. thi is a great hotel otherwise, will highly recommend it.

We had requested an early checkin, which did not happen, so we sat at reception for 3 hrs feeling exhausted as we traveled from South Africa. Then we were put in a room that did not match our booking and we had to prove that what we booked is not what has been given to us. This was not nice 😕

Nice, quiet and safe location, about a kilometer from piazzale Roma. From there you can take water bus to anywhere in Venice. Also just outside the hotel is a water bus stop for certain locations in Venice. Our room was nice, not too big not too small, the bed comfortable, the bathroom spacious. Clean hotel. Nice, polite staff.

You win some , you loose some. It is near the piazzale Roma so i didnt have to carry the luggages far. It was easy to get there from the airport and easy to leave to the airport. But it is quite a distance from the Piazza san Marco where all the tourists -including me, go to. So you have to walk a lot.

My 4th time in this hotel, everything was as expected. My favourite place to stay in Venice. Perfect service, clean cozy and silent rooms.

Great location next to the Sta Lucia station (walking distance 10-12mins walk). Very clean and spacious room, we had room 222 facing the canal, great water pressure in the shower, beautiful and very big bathroom with tub. Staff was great, breakfast was delicious.

Situated outside of the touristy area, but still within walking distance to the center or steps away from the ferry station, this location was perfect for our family who wanted to experience a quieter, more authentic part of Venice. We discovered some of the best restaurants and views, while traveling on a budget. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Service is fast. Staff is friendly, at times you have to wait in line for a bit at the front desk, but that's because they don't rush any of their guests and want to make sure they provide you with the most info as they can

Including an iron or a steamer would be a nice bonus, as well as a a creamer for coffee

Carnival Palace was amazing! The location was fantastic, we were so close to everything. The area near the hotel had with plenty of shopping, cafes, restaurants and water buses were also just a short stroll away. But the actual area surrounding the hotel it was so peaceful and beautiful. It seemed very typical of Venice that one road could be busy and yet just a short stroll away you could find such a peaceful place. Sound proofing for any light sleepers out there was brilliant too, we couldn't hear any noise from other guests and the beds were beyond comfy. My daughter woke up so well rested she had forgotten where she was. The staff are just amazing and attentive. They helped us with restaurant recommendations and while they looked after our luggage on the last day the hotel was also kind enough to loan us some umbrellas, which were life savers. Our room was incredible, it was beyond what we had thought it would be and as it was my husband's 50th they had even put balloons in the room for us. It's the largest family suite we have ever had. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice for all the family. We can't wait to come back again, we are totally in love with the hotel and Venice. Grazie mille!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating and was happy to answer all of our questions and concerns. They contacted me as soon as I booked to help with pre-arrival details, restaurants and tours. They even arranged for train station and airport transfers which was a godsend because I have never been to the city and was not familiar with the public water transportation and we had four large suitcases! The facility and room were beautiful and comfortable as well. We got to the hotel early and went on a tour before the room was ready. When we got back that evening, they had already put our bags in the room and had arranged for flower petals, procesco, and a beautiful fruit tray for us when we got into the room which was wonderful after a long day of traveling and tours! Breakfast was also very delicious 😋. I also needed to print some documents and emailed them the documents and had planned to go down to the front desk to have the clerk print out but a few minutes later, the clerk knocked on my door and handed me the documents personally!! I travel quite a lot and that has never happened to me before!

The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel was not centrally located to the main tourist spots (St. Mark's Square, etc.), however, everything was about a 30-minute walk and there are two water bus stands very close but I did not use them much because I am not good with public transportation. The hotel did ask if I would like for them to arrange a private water taxi to get to all my destinations but I just walked instead and made it to all of my tours in time, just needed to plan ahead. I will say because it is a little outside of the main tourist area, I was able to explore things outside of the beaten path and find various "hidden gems" of the city while walking. I will stay here again!

It was in a quiet area, away from all the crowds. The staff were welcoming and our canal suite room was perfect for the 3 of us. The breakfast selection provided was excellent and there are a few good restaurants close by for dinner.

Not a negative, just something to consider. If you choose to stay here, be prepared to do quite a lot of walking, or use the Vaporetto, to access the main tourist areas.
