The location was within 10 minute walk to most tourist attractions yet was in a quiet, narrow street. The airport Alilaguna ferry location was within a 8 minute, mostly flat walk. The room itself was modern, had good lighting and multiple electric outlets and was decorated with interesting pictures of 18th century Venetian life. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and was a good size. There were two windows for fresh air and a view of a courtyard of rooftops. The good sized elevator was modern and speedy.

The air conditioning controls were in the room but I couldn’t get it to work - possibly because it had been turned off since it was October. Consequently, the room was stuffy and warm. Opening the windows allowed in mosquitoes. We would have liked a fan in the room.

Great location, seems tucked away down a little alley but only a 5 - 15 minute lovely stroll to all the main attractions. Right on the water of the grand canal. Lots of lovely places for drinks and food around too. Accademia bridge a stones throw away. Room was clean and very comfortable and a good size for Venice! Modernised hotel and rooms, powerful shower - and a great hairdryer ladies (and gents!). The lady that looked after us on check in and check out was lovely and full of information for us! For those wondering how to get to this hotel, take Alilaguna water transport from the airport for €27 euro for 30 days return ticket (can be purchased in the arrivals hall at an Alilaguna ticket machine by the baggage belts). Follow the signs for water transport and take the orange line with Alilaguna and get off at Sant Angelo stop. It’s a 5 minute walk from there. Google maps very useful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The location is 2min.walk to the Academia (wooden bridge) station. Very safe to walk. Just cross the bridge and everything is by foot already. The hotel has a spot where you can stand by the Venice Canal. Room is spic and span. Bed and pillows are perfect for a good sleep. Unlimited buffet breakfast. Front desk personnel is very warm and speaks good English.

My family and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great as it's close to the vaporetto station and various restaurants and plazas. I liked the fact that they have housekeepers who clean the room daily, and they also provide an iron for guests to use. However, it's worth mentioning that they don't offer laundry services, and breakfast is not included. Nonetheless, the room was clean and comfortable, making it a decent option for accommodation.

A couple of tips for fellow travelers: First, please DO NOT rely on Google Maps to find the hotel at San Marco 2893. Instead, head to Calle Giustinian or simply type "Foresteria Levi" for accurate directions. Secondly, avoid walking with heavy luggage from Santa Lucia station to the hotel; it's quite a distance. Instead, opt for the vaporetto, even if it's late at night. Lastly, remember to bring mosquito repellent with you as mosquitoes are abundant in Venice. These tips will help ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience during your stay.

The Foresteria is very near to the Accademia bridge. The constant flow of people admiring the romantic views of Santa Maria della Salute from the bridge creates a lively and secure atmosphere, reassuring for guests returning to the hotel at night. It's within 10-20 min to the interesting points and 30 mins to the railway station by foot. A triple room we have had were spacious and comfortable and a roomy wardrope . Thought breakfasts are abundant, additional fruits for a no-carb eater, would be nice.

Location was very convenient and within walking distance to the train station and St Marks Square etc. Venice has lots of bridges to cross so if you struggle with mobility, it may be an issue. Great service from staff, very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Shower gel was in small sachets so not convenient. Would be better in a big bottle for dispensing. Also, there was sugar sachets in room and a small kettle but no teabags or coffee or milk! Asked at reception and was given teabags and milk no problem but then found that the kettle made the water taste of plastic!! So had to pour it away.

Staff were so great and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful, just like the hostess!! My single room was exceptionally clean and bright. Perfect for me. Foresteria is a quiet respite, delightfully away from S.Marco Piazza crowds, but walkable everywhere. Or, buy the 24-hour pass for city water bus! It's brilliant. Great 3 days in Venice. The hotel has lockers to store luggage for you. Fair price too.

The hotel has a fantastic location. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the shower, although small, has a rainfall showerhead and a handheld with excellent water pressure. The room comfortably accommodates two guests.

The hotel breakfast and coffee were disappointing. I recommended exploring outside options. Also, we misplaced our room key in the room and couldn't find it. The front desk person rolled their eyes during check-out, which was disappointing but not a deal-breaker.

The hotel is beautiful staff are very helpful. Not far from restaurants and shops also markets easy to get lost in venice s def need maps in your phone. It is also expensive to eat out. It is also much cheaper to have breakfast in the hotel . Local shops for food and snacks reasonable .

Our hotel ddnt have a restaurant so eatting out was our only option first 2 nights we went to restaurants they are very expensive especially if your with family. We found a small cafe type place for breakfast/ lunch food was amazing but again pricy you have to ask for milk if you take milk in your tea and it's treated as a side..u

The location was good, and the reception staff were excellent both in the lead-up to our stay and during it. The rooms were basic, but they did the job. The flexibility of accessing the breakfast optionally for 12 euro per person was good as not all of us wanted breakfast, but the breakfast was quite basic.

The reception was behind a door that you needed a code for, which you could only get once you registered! Some clearer instructions on the outside door on how to access the reception initially would have been helpful.
