The central reception/lobby/bar/eating/game room area was very well done, and was very popular in the evenings. The "General Store" has a small but nice menu of appetizers and entrees, along with other snacks and sodas. The game room has free board games, and coin-operated pool and fussball tables. The rooms are very comfortable with a large bed, sitting area with 2 chairs and a table, and a nice storage rack/coat hanger for suitcases and clothing. There is a nice fitness center, heated spa, and large unheated swimming pool. Overall, we were very impressed.

Cocktails at the bar were excellent but pricey. The shower could have used a hand rail, since the floor was a little slippery.

I love the vibe of simple and understated with higher end coffee, soaps and shower gel/shampoo. The beds are really comfortable and clean. What is so special is the staff, the exceptional guest lounge and happy hour, the high end coffee/breakfast/lunch/dinner with everything you didn't even know you needed. They open at 6am every day (so nice for east coasters), the coffee is yummy and their food choices are reasonably healthy, and everything is delicious. I love love this place.

I couldn't figure out the safe, but in fairness, I did not bring it to their attention.

The lobby is super fun, very welcoming staff, and delicious beverages and snacks! Coffee was perfect! Super dog friendly and there were so many thoughtful touches everywhere (common spaces and guest rooms)- too many to list them all! Manager was friendly and helpful in making our stay fun and very comfortable. We loved playing in the game room and hanging out on the awesome patio with fire pits while listening to great music!

Not a huge issue, just currently renovating the pool (which is very exciting and will surely be wonderful once it’s finished!). The walkways could be power washed once it’s all done :)

The design and the amenities! The reception, game room and cocktail bar was well designed. The color scheme, although mostly dark and deep color hues were pleasant to the eye. Nostalgic use of cassette tapes was genius. Coffee section was lit. Very rare they would provide Vietnamese coffee so that’s a plus. Comfy beds, not too soft. Has usb A charger and normal prong charger. The smell of soaps shampoo and conditioner are to die for. Good water pressure and drain. The lounge area with fire pit was romantic. Central location, close to downtown

Everything. As soon as you step in, you see how beautiful it is. They have the bar straight ahead, seating area, and a gaming area with a pool table. Then, you can head outside to enjoy a stargazing experience next to one of the fire pits. Though it was cold when we went, I was almost tempted to jump in the pool as I saw others do. The rooms were nice and spacious as well. They had everything we needed. It's a really nice lodge with things to do and for a great price.

I wish they had kept the fire pits on longer at night. It was still so nice there.

A very deceptive hotel, a lot more upmarket that it looks from the outside. Lovely check in staff, nice spacious rooms, very nice lobby and bar area, fabulous and engaging bar staff. Pool area was lovely. Nice restaurants nearby, plenty of shops also. Parking right outside our rooms, easy access, Couldn't ask for anything more. Lovely laid back atmosphere in general. Very good value, you get more than you expect. Online pics don't do it justice.

Even though the price was a little higher than what we normally pay, we did enjoy the environment. We had hoped to enjoy the beautiful lounge/bar area but we didn't have the extra time. The area has a wonderful feel to it and the interior of the room is very cozy - dark colors, feels "woodsy". Clean and comfy! You can walk to places to eat nearby or eat on the premises, you're in a good location. The toiletries smell so nice, just FYI.

You have to climb stairs to the second floor, no elevator. It's OK for me but important to know if that's an issue for you.

The food and coffee is always exceptional here. The vibe in the restaraunt, bar, and patio are always amazing. The room was clean and the staff are friendly.

We had requested a lower level room since we were traveling with a pet. We stayed at this hotel the month before and spoke to the front desk to arrange to meet our request, however when we arrived we had a second story room and were told they were full on the first floor. This was very inconvenient due to having to navigate the stairs with a small dog day and night. Especially when we had made arrangements in advance.

Very nice! Great lobby with a beautiful bar and outside fireplaces to relax and unwind! We all loved the game room and the pool area as well. Although it was too cold to swim in the pool, they have a lovely spa/hot tub we did enjoy. The location is convenient to downtown and NAU. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The room decore had a very cool mid century modern take on a traditional hotel room from the era. We would most definitely stay here again!

It was a little hip, cool enclave. It was nice hanging outside by the fire pits. The food was very good. I liked the decor and the fact that the fridge had a freezer

My room was very dark. There was a lack of outlets convenient to the bed so when I looked around for outlets I noticed that the less accessible areas were not really clean. The ceiling had lots of huge cracks in it and the painting of the room, doors, etc., was very sloppy.
