When we arrived, there was no one at the check in desk. Other guests were waiting as well. We waited five minutes with the phone ringing unanswered the whole time. I was disappointed that the snack bar provided absolutely nothing free for breakfast except coffee. Most hotels have free granola bars and fruit. At Aloft, an apple cost $2.00.

We specifically booked this hotel for its location on the Riverwalk. Yet access to the Riverwalk from the hotel was not available. We ended up having to sneak through another hotel to get to the Riverwalk. The only alternative was to walk a block or two south and then double back north or cross a busy street just to get to the Riverwalk from the hotel. This made it difficult for my elderly husband to enjoy the Riverwalk. I also didn't like the $48/day parking fee.

Highly limited breakfast and while friendly and efficient no real attetnion to make it appealing. The corridors on the 7th floor carpet was all stained, our chair in 716 was stained, and general cleanliness is somewhat missing. When we arrived they could not find our reservation eventhough we were snet a check in notice and had our conifrmation in hand. However, the AGM was excellent and handled everything beautifully. SHe is a real treasure for the property. Having been a hotel owner and operator and knowing many Mariott Executives here in DC - she is what a hotel needs - frinendly, courteous, efficient and above all accommadting.

I do t usually write reviews but this place gets a solid 5 star. I don’t know where they found their staff but I want to take all of them home and have them work for my company! What an incredible experience in hospitality and detail! Hands down the best place ever stayed. Hard to describe- you just have to go to see what I mean :-)

The facility offered no meals, exercise facilities, or any extra attractions. The parking cost was outrageous per day. The only thing I enjoyed was the staff.

Noisy late at night. Housekeeping loudness early in the morning.

I would rate this facility a 5 start facility except we were without AC for two days. Tampa weather is not the best it was uncomfortable to sleep and we had a convention the days there. Other than that overall lovely experience.

Maintenance on AC

Customer service was really great. I was given a room with a view of riverwalk which was nice to wake up to. The location is perfectly centered between Armature Works and Sparksman Wharf. It was also very walkable as well.

Access to more umbrellas in the pool area. I was told that the umbrellas were on a First come/First serve basis but there were a number a chair sets that had the umbrella settings attached to them.

The hotel was in a great location downtown. The valet only service caught me off guard but the rest of the property was awesome. It was a trendy design and had all the facilities you could ask for.

Nice hotel. Great location. Close to the Arena. Clean room. Very comfortable bed.

I did not like that valet was the only parking option and it’s $40 a day. We only stayed one night so that was fine but we will not stay at a hotel where they charge their guest for parking.

Entering your property, please give better directions. Because you didn’t I ended up at riverside, everything thing there was way better including the valet parking. Your valet stated to me , I am too busy to park or move your car. The valet at riverside moved my car, and gave me directions to your hotel, Then at the u-turn light, your valet cut me off on the u-turn to get into the hotel parking lot, swung double wide on a u- turn.

Booking dot com non refundable reservation posing as holding the room with your cc# and hiding of parking policy at hotel when I find it's valet for a brand new large vehicle is not cool. I'll never use booking dot com again - ever for a hotel reservation. Ever.
