Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is stunning, perfectly located for exploring the city. The staff? Simply amazing—genuinely kind and always ready to help. Check-in was a breeze, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Hotel was brand new and in a perfect location. We were able to walk to all sites. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The bodega in the lobby had decent options for breakfast. The restaurant was not open yet for breakfast, we did not eat dinner there. The lounge was a highlight as it was cozy and comfortable for us to relax while not out and about. Would highly recommend hotel.

The hotel does not have a garage. I used SpotHero to find a parking garage nearby. Unfortunately the garage closed at certain hours (could not get car out). So review and ensure parking garage meets your needs if coming by car.

When we first walked into the hotel,the scent that permeated the lobby was clean, inviting, and soothing. I ended up purchasing the candle and the room spray! The aesthetic from the rooms, lobby, restaurant, etc is clean, warm, sophisticated, but comfy. The front desk staff were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Jeremy and Alex were especially awesome! More importantly, the staff as a whole seemed to be excited to work there! Our room was beautiful with olive green and wooden colors. It gave chill vibes, was comfortable, and smelled wonderful. The restaurant, Arrels, was divine! From the drinks to the tapas options and the CHURROS!!! Truly exciting flavors graced my palette. I had high expectations because I stayed in Miami earlier this year. But DC exceeded my expectations! I would be a brand ambassador for Arlo if they would let me! They are a hotel's hotel. They know how to treat their guests. Would gladly come back!

My husband and I spent two nights in the Arlo . The hotel is brand new and just beautiful. The spacious lobby has 2 or 3 large rooms filled with chic couches and chairs and a large screen TV for relaxing. There is an attractive restaurant off the lobby and an attractive "bodega" also off the lobby. Our room was a Deluxe City View King which was very spacious and had a great looking brick wall and a bench seat/couch along the window (the room is a s nice as it looks on the website). The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space for our toiletries from home. The staff was exceptionally personable, helpful and friendly. We were so impressed with the staff especially since staff at other hotels seems to be less professional these days. I also used the gym which is brand new and contains a lot of brand new high end equipment. There is a rooftop bar with impressive views. We can not recommend the hotel enough.

We loved staying at the Arlo for our recent family vacation in Washington, DC! We were grateful for the warm welcome from staff at check-in as well as the easy and secure parking for our car (adjacent to the hotel). The price per day for parking was much more affordable than other hotels in the city and comes with in and out privileges at no extra cost. Our City View 2 Queen room (also referred to as "Deluxe Double" on Booking) was very inviting and well appointed. It was just enough space for our family of 4. While there was not a large dedicated closet or chest of drawers (only a few shelves and small space in the armoire for hanging clothes), there is plenty of room to store suitcases under beds. There are also a number of hooks in the entryway that were great for umbrellas, bags, towels, etc (sidenote: Arlo does provide an umbrella in the room that you can borrow in case of rain). In addition to the comfortable queen beds, the chaise lounge at the window was actually big enough for our 8 year old to sleep on (just ask for extra sheets)! Housekeeping did a wonderful job with daily service- it felt like a new room each day when we came back from touring around the city. We didn't notice any noise from our room on the 7th floor except on a Saturday night when guests below us were out on their terrace- it wasn't a big deal though and we just turned on some white noise when it was time for bed. The gym on location was awesome and has cool towels on hand for post-workout which was a plus! We also utilized the water bottle refill station in the gym as well. Lastly, the area surrounding the hotel was always clean and felt relatively safe to us- we walked most everywhere, but the hotel's location was especially convenient for getting to the Capitol end of the mall on foot. Really can't say enough good things about this hotel, the staff, and location! It checked all the boxes for us and we would definitely recommend to others!

It would be great to see the hotel add purified water refill stations and ice to every level!

My daughter and I visited for 5 days for a mother- daughter spring break trip. We had a WONDERFUL stay at Arlo! The staff, especially Aziza, Alex and Biniyam, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! We purchased breakfast with our room which turned out to be a delicious, large breakfast every day. I highly recommend Arlo to anyone. Fantastic location, 1 block from the metro and loads of restaurants and museums.

We had issues regulating the hot water in the shower. I took a while to heat up and then stayed a little too hot, despite being turned down to a colder temperature. Nothing big, but would have liked better temperature regulation.

The Arlo Washington DC is a wonderfully located hotel from which you can explore Washington. We‘ve just spent 2 nights there and everything was just fine. I want to mention and give a special Thank you to Elanka from the front desk. She managed all our questions and needs in a very professional, friendly and competent way. You could always turn to her and she always knew what to do! Moreover she helped us to get orientation about Washington very quickly which is was also wonderful. Thank you so much Elanka, we felt really well kept up with during our stay in Washington! All the best for you!

Location for family of two parents and two 20-somethings was perfect. Very walkable to the National Mall. Wonderful restaurant in the hotel (Arrels, Spanish) and lots of choices in the area. Our room was lovely but our daughters' was better...a corner room with spectacular views. Definitely ask for a corner room.

One of the reasons we choose this hotel was the rooftop pool and gathering space. Unfortunately, we were never able to enjoy it. The hotel books it for private events, which means it's off limits. The hotel has been open only since Oct or Nov 2024, so they're still working things out. The private event when we were there was a Nike shoe product release. Very loud music, which could be heard in the elevator. When we ventured up to see the view after the event was over, the place was party-trashed...empty glasses, plates, and bottles everywhere. Never saw the pool. Will visit again, but will definitely ask what's happening on the roof!

It was all great! Loved the room, bathroom is luxurious, rooftop glamorous, nice rest and coffee! My only comment is that there is no sheet between the mattress sheet and the comforter and that is always nice to have. Floors felt a little dusty. And the hairdryers are awful. The cleaning service was a little slow the second day. We won’t back at 4pm and we were expecting to find clean towels but there were the used ones. I called front desk and immediately sent someone which is nice!! The third day we got back and it was nice and clean but they didn’t leave canned water which the price includes daily water. Those are small things that would take the experience from great to perfect.
