The hotel is beautiful, clean and the rooms are very spacious.

We had the inner atrium view room, it was disappointing as we were unaware that we would have zero view of the outside world. Difficult to know what the weather was like. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, even my children complained they were flat! Considering the cost of the room per night you’d expect breakfast to be included but we had a bill for breakfast, £111 each day! Extortionate considering we were 2 adults and 2 young children (children simply having a small bowl of yoghurt and granola). After experiencing breakfast twice at the hotel we decided to explore the restaurants on the harbour and we were extremely happy with the breakfasts on offer. Would highly recommend.

This is a great hotel in a good location. Very closed to metro station When we arrived, the hotel's concierge, Mr. Franky, greeted us and helped us with whatever we needed. Mr. Franky made us feel very comfortable and friendly. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and Ms. Jackeline upgraded our room at a special price. The welcome was really sweet from her as was the cake that was waiting for us as a gift in our room. Very nice interior pool , nice bar and very good breakfast ! Need to say that we are excited for both Westin Hamburg and Hamburg city . for sure , we will be back ❤

The location is exceptional, the room was very clean and my upfront request was considered. The breakfast, as other visitors will confirm too, is lavish and nothing beats the view. The sauna and gym were a very welcome addition to the overall experience!

I believe the staff were a bit overwhelmed by the conference happening in the hotel at the same time. :) I understand the comments regarding the size of the pool, but given the location it seems to be the best case scenario.

Stunning location and views. F&B team was very friendly and welcoming - both at BLICK bar in the evening and at Fang&Feld during breakfast. Special thanks to Nadar (hoping we remember the name correctly) who was very supportive during our departure. Room was clean and had a great view.

Front Office Team at reception was polite but not very welcoming. Check in and out was down to the pure process. No extra questions were asked, no information about the outlets were given. The first and last impression you learn to create when working in hospitality were unfortunately not created which was a bit disappointing for a hotel like this.

Amazing location! Rooms with the view are spectacular! Fantastic designs all through the hotel.If you're going to a concert in Elphie, it's a dream. You park you car in the underground carpark €35 for hotel guests. Lift to the hotel and then you are indoors for your room, all facilities, including concert halls. Perfect!

We were charged €100 DEPOSIT. I find it outrageous, especially in the light of the fact that hotel has access to my credit card, anyway! It was returned after few days. Not an elegant practice for a 5☆hotel.

Great location above the Elbe concert hall. Nice night-time views. Staff excellent. Room very good. Very good bar. Lots to do in Hamburg- Zoo, harbour tour, miniature world. See a concert in the Elbphilharmonie Expensive restaurants beside the hotels but good value ones a little west of it. Limebikes to get around the city

Expensive breakfast if not included - but very attentive breakfast staff Moderately pricey but within the expected range for what you get

-state of the art hotel with fantstic hardware and design /though inhouse amenities are below average -receptionist are very friendly and professional, guest service very good -excellent elbe river view and large luxury room with excellent layout -reservation staff are countesy bar arrangement for our arival is fantastic

-breakfast food is below average/ staff are not very courtesy and appears to be indifferent -in house towel and toiletary are below average -adequate cleaning provided -dinner options are limited

Location was nice, staff was very helpful and view from the room was breath taking. Breakfast is excellent, as expected from a 5 star hotel.

One day some of the dirty lining was forgotten in our room and at departure day cleaning came at 10 am, although, checkout was until 12. This made us feel kicked out, thing that we did not seen before in any hotel.

My wife and I went to 4 concerts at the Elbphilharmonie. It was extremely convenient as the hotel lobby and the concert hall foyer were both on 8th floor. We had a Studio Room. It was spacious and clean with a great view of the city and harbour. The hotel is in a great location. The subway station is less than 10 minutes away. 3 stops and you are in the City Hall and Alster Lake area.

We could not think of anything we dislike. We were in 1538 for 9 nights. We felt we could use more hanging space for clothes in closets and in the bathroom. We did return to Westin on a second visit and stayed at 1438. It was the same kind of room and we found more hanging space.
