We booked a room to be allocated on arrival and were pleased to be given a large room with a view over the adjacent canal (even if the view itself wasn't that special it made it clear that we were in Venice!). The bed was large and comfortable and we both slept well for the 4 nights we were here. Breakfast didn't have the widest choice but the food was plentiful and of good quality. The location, a few minutes walk from San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, was excellent - with plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions on the doorstep.

The bathroom was a bit tired and the shower over the bath a bit tricky to use for anyone over about 173cm (5'8") without having to stoop over or get water everywhere. Also, the staff were generally very good, apart from one morning when they attempted to charge us for our included breakfast and there was no apology. It's a minor issue but it took more effort than it should have to get it resolved.

Nice, unless you have an early flight Pros: The location made it fairly easy to get to St. Mark’s Square. The staff were fantastic, and the room we were given was larger than expected. There’s an excellent restaurant around the corner near the theater with super fresh pastries—we ended up eating there every morning and even had lunch there a few times. Cons: I had some reservations about the location since I was traveling with two suitcases after spending over two months in Verona during the winter. Although I wanted to stay close to St. Mark’s Square, dragging heavy luggage over multiple bridges from the public water taxi stop in Rialto was definitely a workout. For our departure, the earliest public water taxi didn’t leave until around 3:50–4:00 a.m., which would have gotten us to the airport too late for a 6:00 a.m. flight. We had to book a private water taxi directly from the hotel to the airport at a cost of 180 euros. The staff said the ride would take 45 minutes to an hour, but it actually only took 22 minutes.

We arrived in Venice by water taxi and there is a drop off directly by the reception in the front (almost inside) of this hotel. Fabulous! You can see gondoliers passing by during the day also. The location could not have been better. My husband and I brought our almost 80 yr old mothers with us so we needed a central location and a quiet room and this was perfect. I added on the breakfast and it was wonderful. Plenty of meat options like bacon and eggs along with yogurts, croissants and fruit also. This hotel has an elevator which was a MUST for us. We all really loved this hotel.

Fantastic location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We had an upgraded room and it was beautiful and clean with comfy beds. The shutters and curtains were of good quality. You can walk to St Marks square easily and there are many great restaurants nearby - the staff at the hotel were very good at providing recommendations.

No mattress protector on bed, would have been good to have shelf in shower. Our bathroom door was a little loud when opening. Things to be aware of when booking: This hotel is in central Venice so there were points when it was noisy but that’s to be expected. This hotel has a floral smell throughout - my friend loved it but I found it did slightly aggravate my asthma at times.

The location was very convenient and close to the centre. The room was clean and the bathroom was renovated with a modern touch. We were there for our honeymoon and the staff offered us a welcome drink. The staff was very polite and helpful!

The room has a lot of damage. A hole in the wall and the door. The ceiling was cracked everywhere and the furniture in the room was full of scratches, along with the back of the bed. The two lampshades were a little bit torn. The bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable, not to mention that the whole room had a different floor level from side to side, which led to several poor sleep. Also, the brightness of the room was low.

The Hotel is very central. 4 Minutes from Piazza San Marco. Staff are super helpful and rooms are very clean. Upon booking reception will contact you with various ways to get to the hotel, this helped a lot.

Rooms are a bit tiered and need an upgrade, especially the bathroom.

The hotel is charming, located on a quiet street yet right in the heart of luxury boutiques. My room was beautiful, though it could use a little refresh. The staff were very friendly and attentive, accommodating all my preferences. However, I wish the room felt fresher, and the pillows were not very comfortable. I also tried breakfast — it’s a good choice if you’re looking for something simple like eggs and croissants in the morning, but the overall selection is quite limited.

Breakfast was very limited. In the room was no teapot, coffee or tea. No USB plugs. Pillows and duvet was not comfy.

Great location - it was in the middle of everything, so nothing was too far for walking. The staff was amazing, gave us recommendations and always welcomed us with a smile. The room was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and we liked everything. A very cool opportunity (that we didn't sadly use) was the door directly to the canal, so you could also arrive by boat! There is also a pasticceria extremely close to the hotel and many dinner places nearby. We were very happy!

Not a complaint, but information to others - the hairdryer in our room wasn't very powerful, so I'd recommend taking your own hairdryer if your hair doesn't dry very quickly.

It was nice of the hotel to let us check in earlier when we went to drop off our bags and also to provide us with a breakfast box since we had an early check out. The hotel also booked us the water taxi to pick us up early morning, which was great, although we ended up paying more than it was agreed with the hotel. Breakfast was generally very good and the staff was very nice, always ready to help.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities nor free water provided in the room. This is expected at the price per night one pays in a 4 star hotel. Some of the pillows were very thin, ended up sleeping terribly on the last night. The temperature in the room should be made that the residents can adjust it themselves. We had to call various times to ask them to turn it down as it was too warm in the room. There should be more information in the room, such as WiFi password and the QR code to access all the information for suggested restaurants. These are minor details which I think can make a great difference if taken into consideration.

Excellent location, very clean room, nice and welcoming staff with good level of English, what is so important for tourists. The presence of a bath is also a big plus.

1. Drinking water in the room was not provided, which is very strange for the price and category of 4* hotel. If you want to have a bottle of water you must buy it. 2. Hairdryer in the room was horrible, very weak. It's not acceptable when you have a touristic trip and not planning to waste that much time in the room- for my hair (a bit longer than shoulders), it took me 1 hour to get it dry ! Change it to better quality please!! 3. Quality of shower amenities could be better.
