Breakfast was nice. I am vegan and would have loved a few more options. Transport was very easy from hotel location. Staff friendly and helpful.

Our room for two adults and two kids was rather cramped. There was maybe 1 foot of space between our beds- or it felt like that. It was not possible to just relax in the room because of the way the beds were. It was really only a sleeping place.

Great location near Amsterdam Centraal. Loved how they had flavored water in the lobby and the staff was helpful with my questions on transportation and restaurant. Our room had French doors we could open and it made us feel part of the city life when in the room.

We had one day where the staff didn’t service our room but when I called that night they had someone bring more towels and coffee pods. Would love an ice dispenser on the floor.

Room was quiet, spacious and clean, the bathroom was nice and clean, bed and linens were comfortable. Also, happy to have A/C esp after walking around the city all day. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering many options. We were able to take advantage of the steam and dry sauna a couple of nights which were nice, clean and relaxing. They had towels, slippers, and bathrobes available for their guests. The location was also good - right across from Central Station and allowed for easy walking to Dam square. Concierge were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for your stay in Amsterdam.

Everything was great!

Because we arrived and departed from Centraal station which is a 5 minute walk, it was a perfect location for us. The woman at the front desk was very thoughtful when we checked in and moved us to an interior room to avoid the outside noise which was atypically loud due to the awesome Pride celebration going on. While interior rooms normally make me claustrophobic this one was spacious and comfortable. There was zero outside noise although there was quite a lot of noise from the room above us (sounded like elephants stomping around at 5am!).

No complaints except the noise from the room above. Otherwise, lovely place to stay!

For the last 15 year, I am going Amsterdam every year. But this hotel have the most helpful and smiling staff I have ever seen. On any problem, they fastly solve your questions. From the reception to house keeping all are %100 professional guys. Thanks to all, especially to guest relations for their lovely letter to us :)) Ps : about the room, it was enough big for a family, king size bed and nearly king size child sofa/bed. Rooms were always clean.

I have no words to say about that.. Just a funny light problem, but solved quickly :)) when you turn off the side lights of the master bed, refrigerator and coffee machine also shuts down. It was a wrong fuse connection, but they solved it very quickly

Stayed in a standard double room for three nights and really liked the vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful—check-in was smooth, and they gave great tips on places to eat nearby. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to Amsterdam Centraal Station, which made getting around super easy. The room was clean and comfortable—just what we needed after long days exploring the city.

Only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was slow, which made it tricky to plan my days or stream anything.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Everything was so close by. It was in the heart of the red light district. So, for a single guy, that's the place u Want be at. For a family, I'm not so sure. Yet I have seen a lot of families come and go from the hotel, even Arabs families. As long as ur family doesn't go in the middle of it at night after 8/9pm, ur good. I also tried their food it was very good too. Price is reasonable. And make sure u stick with ubers they are cheaper than the regular taxies and easier to get when ur in the street. My trip was 5 nights, and I felt like I needed to go back again to cover the rest. Maybe 7 or 10 nights. would have been better because i didn't have enough time to see the countryside, and they have several cities to must visit. And make sure to take some mushrooms before any art museum like Rijksmuseum, and van gogh museum. It was a way more fun and a better experience , and you would really appreciate the paintings better.

Accomodating staff, clean room, great breakfast buffet, walking distance to stores and museums. Also - we didnt get our luggage at the airport, and when we were visibly nervous about if we were to get our suitcases at all, the staff called when we were out, to let us know they had been delivered - and even put the luggage in our room. SO appreciated by two stressed out tourists.

Nothing. We couldnt get the shower head to work, but we didnt ask the staff either - they probably would have fixed it :)

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was big and comfortable. Bathroom had everything we needed. Had a room facing the inside/back garden so it was very quiet. Hotel was clean and spacious (did not go to breakfast). Spa was nice, the sauna spacious. Gym was ok. Staff very nice. In walking distance to many sights and very close to central station.

The gym could be improved, few machines for lower body, needs space for floor workouts like core exercises and yoga (and longer mattresses for that, only two small in the gym). Also the ceiling is a bit low so when you go on some of the machines (step machine and treadmills) you are very near the ceiling (I’m 180 cm and was worrying hitting my head).

Location, location, etc., i.e. walking distance from Amsterdam Centraale station; v. nice atmosphere on ground floor lobby; v. nice and helpful staff, with good English, check-in, etc.; able to check in upon arriving at 9:00 a.m. (yaay!);

not much to not like, except price: NH's are generally v. nice, but their pricing is a bit high vs the area options, this opinion is based on staying at NH in Venice, Rome, and now Amsterdam. They know to pick a location near main transit, and that comes w/ a higher daily rate.
