I stayed here with my family of 5 for 4 nights and we wish we stayed longer - it was an absolute retreat! The beds were super comfortable, the villa itself was luxurious with it's big lounges and fireplace, we even had a deck with a leafy and peaceful outlook. We enjoyed using the tennis court and the pool and being able to walk to some of the nearby vineyards. The resort was in such close proximity to many wineries and local attractions. The closest supermarket was 15-20minutes away so we just had to plan one grocery shop for our stay rather than popping in whenever. It's probably worth noting that although we could park close to our villa, there are lots of steps and steep hills around; it was not a problem for us but I could imagine it being a deterrent for some to stay in the family villas. We absolutely look forward to staying here again in the future!

The only thing I didn't like was that some of the young staff seemed to hoon around on the golf carts and when we were packing up they didn't slow down if they saw people nor to see if people were coming in/out of their doorways and my son almost got hit.

Great location, convenient to most vineyards. Resort facilities were clean, and the reception area had beautiful lounges and a view over the pool and golf course. The buffet breakfast was average as was the bistro. There are 3 pools on site. The beds were comfy, inroom toiletries were a nice smell, but there was no conditioner in the bottles in the showers, and only 4 sugar packets with the tea and coffee, both of which were disappointing.

The lack of conditioner and sugar in room was annoying, especially after swimming all day. Buffet breakfast service was pretty slow at restocking the food, particularly the hash browns and the pastries. I was disappointed there was no juice making facilities at the buffet.

The check in process was easy, the facilities were good quality. The apartment was good value with a free upgrade as well. Clean and stocked appropriately. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfortable accommodation with reasonable amenities. Pool facilities were good and had lovely views. The on-site restaurant was decent if somewhat pricey.

Note there is a short drive to any of the apartments, and although it's primarily a golf resort, there were a lot of golf buggies being driven unsafely on roads they shouldn't be on according to signage. Room service didn't turn up until I called an hour after placing the order, apparently the restaurant was surprised by it. No make good or apology was offered for the delay.

A great place for families, close to where we needed to go. We got upgraded, so that was amazing. Everything was lovely inside and the breakfast was amazing.

The lady at reception must have misheard me when I asked for a taxi She booked one for 4 people, but it was just me, so I had to pay for the mini bus that turned up. My reception on my phone wasnt great when I rang her, so shes not to blame, but it was $70 for a 9km drive. We did have breakfast, but it would have been extra amazing to just have some basic condiments like butter and vegemite in the room. But also, I do understand that they had upgraded us to a town house with a full kitchen, so maybe most people bring their own.

Well-Located for Wine Touring: We stayed just one night with the goal of visiting a few wineries, and the resort's location was perfect for that purpose. Fully Equipped Kitchen: The villa included a complete kitchen, which was particularly convenient for our long-term trip, allowing us to prepare meals comfortably. Spacious Grounds: The 300-acre property features a golf course, multiple pools, tennis courts, and walking trails, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors without leaving the resort. Upgrade to Two-Bedroom Villa: We were kindly upgraded to a two-bedroom villa, which was very comfortable and well-suited for a longer stay.

Room Signage Visibility: The signage for room numbers is small and dark, making it difficult to locate the assigned unit even during daylight—this could be improved for easier arrival.

The facilities were awesome and we really enjoyed the spa bath and the scenery! Pokolbin is just magnificent!! It was raining but we still enjoyed the view and our stay. The food looked exquisite but tasted normal. I had the barramundi and mashed potatoes and veg and my son had the fish and chips. Maybe they had better options.

It was a bit too cold but the heating helped. There was a staircase in our room which I did not anticipate and did not notice in the description. I hope all the rooms aren’t like that as it would be hard for babies and the elderly. Getting our luggage up there was hard. The food looked exquisite but didn’t taste

Customer service was amazing. I love that it was close to the wedding we were attending. Love that they accommodated our last min request for a villa with laundry facilities. The rooms are very generous in size. I really loved that there were shower products available in each bathroom. The bottles provided were large. There wasn't a need for us to bring our own body wash or shampoo/handwash. They provided a cot for us on request. The villas are perfect. Each room had aircon and a TV. Love the shuttle service they provide to pick you up from your villa and take you to where you need to go in the complex. Buffet breakfast was the best I've seen and eaten. Cannot fault anything.

The accommodation was very spacious and the little houses were lovely. The beds were very comfy.

My friend and I queried the day spa, we didn’t have an appointment booked as wasn’t aware there was such a large day spa attached to the resort. Though when we drove up there and enquired about availability at the day spa reception and treatments on offer we were told that they were fully booked by the woman behind the counter, the man there was trying to be obliging and check and see for us and explained about the day spa. However the woman was a bit abrupt and just kept repeating fully booked. Which is fine we understood that they may have been the case but she didn’t even attempt to check just over ruled the man from offering any kind of assistance further. That was on the Friday afternoon 22/11 that we arrived. We didn’t worry about enquiring any further.

We loved the location in central Hunter Valley wine region, the views of the valley and surrounding mountains, and the apartment was large, modern and spacious.

The apartment had a clothes dryer but no washing machine, an oven and cooktop but no pots and pans. There was no wifi operating so I couldn’t operate my computer or watch streaming channels on the tvs; the power points and USB points next to my bed didn’t work; the three telephones didn’t work; one of the large glass sliding doors to one of the bathrooms came off it’s track; the pelmet above the other bathroom sliding door was half falling down; the parking areas under the tennis courts need a doorway between them so people can access the stairs and the pathway from the far car park area more easily. Would be good to have a tv in the living area rather than in the two bedrooms.
