Almost everything. Room was clean and comfortable, quiet and with lovely view. Food in the restaurant was very good and the outside areas were well cared for. When we left l forgot my jewellery roll and didn’t realise until we arrived at our destination that evening. Upon phoning the hotel my husband was told that the jewellery had been found and was being kept safe until we can collect it. I appreciate the honesty of the staff member who found it very much indeed.

Restaurant service was rather slow, l had to ask three times for water on the table. To be fair, it was really busy and waiting staff were obviously working under pressure. As there was no air conditioning and the room was very hot we asked for a fan. After a long wait we were brought an old, dusty and inefficient fan by an apologetic staff member who said it was the only one she could find. Again, being fair she reappeared later with a much better one for us.

The level of hospitality throughout our stay was consistently top-notch — friendly, professional, and always eager to help. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we appreciated the little touches like high-quality toiletries and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Our room also had a stunning view, which made mornings extra special. The amenities were outstanding. We made full use of the fitness center, the pool and the on-site restaurant served some of the best meals we've had in a hotel. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with both local and international options. Overall, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and exceptional service. Five stars all the way!

Restaurant was lovely but our children with ASD struggled to find anything they would eat. When we quietly excused ourselves from our table and explained to a member of staff and apologized we had to go the staff member was lovely. However I caught it off the corner of my eye, a young lady who was waiting tables throw a really awful look at us which was a bit disappointing and showed a lack of understanding for kids with additional needs

Room was fantastic clean, modern everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back.

The only thing I can fault was when at the property there was work going on so when in the quite room after the massage it wasn’t so quiet as there was drilling going on and was so loud. And we was supposed to have bubbley and truffles on arrival for my mums birthday but they hadn’t arrived I had to go down to front desk and say they wasn’t there we went for something to eat and came back and then they got in it in the room Room was so cold - had heaters one wouldn’t go on and was only a slight heat from Other one so we were all freezing

We liked the location and that there was a pool. Elaine on breakfast reception was memorable for her lovely bubbly, friendly and helpful personality. When the staff are happy it makes customers happy.

The room was a little tired and the paintwork and carpets could do with a refresh. The furniture within the room was also a little tired and the wardrobe door was slightly broken but still operational. The pool hours for kids was a little restrictive especially when we tried to get for an early morning swim.

Stayed in Queen room and it was brilliant. Very Spacious, comfy bed, brilliant tv. Very nice and modern bathroom too. Staff are all brilliant. Katey at reception was very helpful during check in. Despite the poor lunch the girl Isla did a brilliant job staying on top of things while it was busy. Spa facilities are brilliant. We visited twice and enjoyed the Pool, sauna, Steam room and the jacuzzi. Very clean too. Residents bar area is lovely for an evening drink. Can get too comfy and stay all night too. Breakfast was great. I seen a few complaints about it on here, however thumbs up from us. Great selection and very tasty.

Room can get a bit warm at night, however there is a radiator that can be adjusted :) Lunch menu isn’t great, bit pricey for what it is and wasn’t that great food to be honest. general service was a bit slow, however it did look like they were a bit short staffed.

Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff. Beautiful decor, spacious and relaxing. Many staff on duty meant that service was quick and the facilities were clean and tidy. Food was tasty and well presented in all the restaurants and bars. Room service was delivered quickly. Our recent stay was extremely enjoyable. The hotel is close to Glasgow but with fields, trees and countryside surrounding you can chill. The added attractions of golf course, spa and swimmimg pool just add to the experience.

The room was spacious and well furnished. The spa area was lovely with the gym well kitted out. Breakfasts were great. We were able to take our dog and she was welcomed.

Rooms were all upstairs - we wouldn't take the dog in the lift, and there were a lot of stairs for her. I wish we had known about this on booking. The bathroom looked great, but the shower didn't drain terribly well (clogged with hair). This was an easy fix, but it would have been nicer without it.

The breakfast was amazing and if you need anything staff are on hand to help very friendly and helpful well done to all staff on shift on the 18th July from front of house to bar restaurant and house keeping We enjoyed the spa only down fall the heat in the pool is colder then expected so be warned

reception tried to charge me for my child even though I had already paid but this was not the hotel fault this was booking.com that caused this issue but staff resolved the issue quickly
