The hotel looks gorgeous and is very nicely decorated. The room we stayed in was miniscule but thankfully we were travelling without suitcases. We laughed at the fact that one of the elevators was out of order and we were told there were no immediate plans to fix it any time soon, only for it to be fully functional the next day! We were already aware we couldn't go on the balcony but being able to open the door a little was so nice and we really appreciated the cool breeze. The direct (!) bus connection to the Disney shuttle was a big plus, it's right in front of the hotel. Sure, the hotel is not right next to a subway or metro line, but it's in near walking distance so not an issue at all.

Everything clear and tidy. Just like that Muji hotel, but cost half as much. Great location and nice breakfast buffet.

The fridge are a little bit noisy.

The room and hotel had great design, both in aesthetics and function. It was easy to feel cozy and at home at the end of every day. I loved the bath salts station and had a great time making a new soak for each day. The microwave room (with plates & utensils—so helpful!) was great for when I didn't want to go out to eat. Also loved and made use of what's in the vicinity—2 grocery stores, a lovely very good bakery, and 2 coffee shops. Definitely felt like there was great value staying here compared to other, more generic options. Also the best pajamas from any of the hotels I've stayed at in Japan. Overall it was great—I will stay again!

While the room is beautiful, there was no space to put any of my things 'away' so I never could get fully unpacked or really make it feel like home. Next time I will get a bigger room but there was no availability on my dates this time around. Also not great that breakfast is not available on Mondays & Tuesdays. Lastly, I didn't really enjoy the restaurant Session for dinner.

The layout of the rooms with great natural light into the rooms. The complimentary chocolate was incredible!

A little more variety during breakfast would be awesome

The rooms appear to be more spacious than other hotels in Tokyo I have stayed at, location is in what is really a business district so it's relatively quiet. Most rooms have an area on the outside of the building (ours wasn't accessible) planted with greenery which was really pleasant. The in-room drip coffee was probably the best I have had in Japan (exception being an hotel in Osaka which gave us a fully stocked Nespresso machine). If you needed a snack the supermarket across the road was open 24 hours. My daughter loved the build your own bath bomb.

Pillows! Possibly the one area where the hotel fell down was that all you got was the standard Japanese pillow filled with some sort of beads with a covering on one side of wadding. Unless you sleep on your back these are pure torture. While this is also is the norm in many hotels I have stayed at others, some well off the beaten track, which have either provided alternatives in the room or a selection, either at reception or on each floor. Luckily my daughter had brought her own pillow, just in case. Sad to say the breakfast offering was not enticing for me.

Beautiful property, quiet yet lovely neighborhood, combination of residential and offices, with supermarket, conbinis, numerous izakayas and several metro lines within 8-12 min walk. The hotel feels like a proper boutique one, beautiful and tasteful design, super welcoming staff, great amenities. We stayed in semi-double rooms which were very comfortable, even though on a smaller side, but hey - that’s normal for Tokyo so no worries! The only little thing is that there’s no space at all to put the suitcase, no where to keep your clothes, except for 4 hangers.

This was my fourth stay at Hamacho Hotel in Tokyo, my second during this trip to Japan. I stayed for 8 nights and 9 days, and would happily have stayed for longer and hope to stay again in the future. Lots of tourists focus on popular hubs in Tokyo for their stay (like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza and more). However, Nihonbashihamacho is a lovely, quaint and safe area that has quickly become a special place for me in Japan. I have greatly appreciated retreating from the hustle & bustle that Tokyo can provide at times, and entering into a ward of the city where everything feels quieter and slower. The staff are always wonderful, they happily greet you when you enter & exit the hotel and go out of their way to assist with any request you have. I cannot recommend Hamacho Hotel enough; I've not had a single bad experience over 4 stays here (more than 20 days in total).

I have no complaints about this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, spacious and friendly.

This was my second time staying at The Hamacho and it was still as great as the first time I visited. - The service from staff is friendly, and welcoming - they are happy to help with anything you need (luggage transfer, taxis) - The rooms have lovely light coming in, are clean, and the bedding and pyjamas are made up each time you come back to the room - There is a station in the reception lobby for making relaxing bath salts each night - Location is perfect. Subway station and bus station are only 5-10 minutes walk away - There's a great specialty coffee shop, Single O Hamacho, across the road - 24/7 supermarket and convenience store nearby. I love everything about this place and will continue to stay here each time I'm in Tokyo.

Everything was great - nothing bad to report at all.

There is a really relaxed atmosphere here, we loved the attention to detail and complimentary kimono style pyjamas and toiletries. These additions really made our 5 night stay so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are very helpful and always greeted us with a friendly smile. Loved our room, it was very clean as the housekeeping was done every day. We liked our location very much. It’s not in and amongst the tourist attractions but easily accessible via metro if you’d like to visit them. There were tons of nice smaller spots to eat and drink.

Nothing! Couldn’t fault it

The room was great, as on pictures. The hotel is very clean, staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was not included in the room and was no option to buy it on booking. When we were at the hotel, for 2 days breakfast service was not available. Also the breakfast is not really good and not Japanese style. I would recommend to have a breakfast at some other places. The coffee shop in front that provides discount of 10% for hotel guests has good coffee but food is bot good. We also had issues with hot water for 2 or 3 nights, and hotel was apologetic. However to take a shower we need to put an effort. The area is the best, close to bus terminal and it is the best location for getting to any airport or best city places.

- breakfast - coffee shop in front that gives discount for hotel guests has expensive and not delicious food - hot water issues (I believe it was accident and not the case anymore)
