This hotel offered one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had — the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. The room was compact, as is typical in Japan, but very well designed, featuring a small sink and microwave, which gave it a kitchen-like feel and added convenience. Despite the size, the toilet was fully equipped and functional. The area is lovely and well-connected, just a short walk from the metro, and there’s a nice supermarket nearby which made everyday needs easy to manage. Free luggage storage was another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more comfortable.

The only real downside was the limited space for luggage. If you're traveling with a large suitcase or trolley, you might find it difficult to open it fully inside the room.

Nothing fancy but a good practical choice at a good rate. I had read other reviews so new to expect the small space, and the slightly less-than-new appearance. Things worked fine. Really good having a laundry room available. I liked the area and it was very accessible to Asakusa, Ueno and Gina, among other places. We were happy.

The bed is quite small. There is minimal storage. There are some appliances that are probably not needed in the room or sitting on surfaces that could be more effectively used. It’s good that you can get crockery at reception, and collect fresh towels as needed. I prefer this system to house keeping.

HOTEL MYSTAYS Ueno Inaricho is a hotel without breakfast facilities and more geared towards a longer stay, where you take care of your own. We've stayed here during our previous trip and decided to stay again precisely because of how convenient it was. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walking from Ueno station and slightly more from Asakusa. There is also a Metro stop nearby. It also has a laundry room with 4 washing machines and 4 driers, so it is well suited for a longer stay during which you explore Tokyo. The reception is only staffed during the day, however there were no issues in communicating with them and overall the stay went well.

Great location for transport: 2 blocks away from Inarichō station on the Ginza Line and 10 minutes walk from Ueno Station for the Yamanote Line and Keisei-Ueno for the Skyliner to Narita Airport. Quiet residential area. Rooms are small but tidy and well equipped. Multiple washing machines and dryers. Check in doesn't open until 3pm but they will store your bags if you arrive early and there is plenty to see and do in Ueno / Yanaka while you wait.

The rooms are small but thats to be expected in a Tokyo business hotel.

The front desk staff who checked me in was extremely friendly and exceptionally helpful. I forgot to ask for her name though... this was on me... She seemed like she really loved her job The room and toilet, while tiny, was functional since I pretty much only needed the place to sleep in and clean up. I was able to fully open my medium sized luggage but I had the room to myself. If I were staying with another person, I doubt we would be able to manoeuver around much The accomodation was also very close to Asakusa, Kappabashidori etc. It's very walkable to be honest

Clean compact room bursting at the seams with amenities: TV, microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, coffee mugs, drinking glasses, Ukatta, free tea/coffee... Easy walk to Ueno station. Close to supermarket and places to eat. Quiet neighbourhood, small balcony, comfortable bed and clean sheets. Everthing about the room is good. Well appointed and well designed, and also well maintained.

Check-out time of 11:00 am too early! Noon time would be much better.

I like the eagerness of the staff and how they were all extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was great since it was next to the train station. The room is kept very tidy and the trash can be left in front of the door each morning.

The small space shocked me but everything necessary was included in the hotel. Other people were a bit loud at times but they were properly warned and the rest of the stay was quiet. They ran out of laundry detergent for a couple of days but it was restocked shortly after.

The location is perfect, very close to underground station and also JR station with very good links to majority parts of the city. The hotel is close to several attraction within walking distance. Being self-contained apartment gives you independence, and choice re some of your meals…

Sometimes noise in the corridor made by other guests not respecting requests to lower voice in common areas but the hotel can’t help it.

The location was quiet and very convenient for me. It’s a bit outdated, a basic business hotel, but the room was clean and practical. The staff was helpful and politely informed me about all the rules during check-in. I was able to store my luggage after check-out during reception opening hours.

The entrance doors to the room aren't well insulated from outside noise. The room is a bit outdated, and there are no kitchen amenities. It's better not to open the window—there is a dirty area outside.

Staff was very nice to let us check-in early at 10:00, especially it was rainning that day. All facilities were great (bidet, microwave, laundry room, air conditioner...) and amenities were surprisingly good as well. We really like shampoo, cleansing oil and toner and even toothbrush since it was so soft. Great location to access to all tourist spots in Tokyo by train via Ginza line.

The duvet often seperate from its cover and we could not fix it so it was troublesome for later night. Luckily, air conditioner worked as fine so room was warm enough.
