The decision to stay at this hotel was our winning decision! It was super convenient to walk to the hotel upon arrival—it took just 3 minutes and we were on the spot. No taxi or public transport was needed. Another important point was that from this area you can easily walk to the Old City or use all types of public transport to reach any part of the city. I was worried about the noise that might come from the central station, but we got a room with windows facing another direction, and it was super quiet and comfy. Last but not least, the central station has a number of shops and a pharmacy open 24/7, including Sundays, which was a bingo for me, as I was traveling with children and from time to time they needed something from the market—and it was always available. Would definitely stay here again next time in Düsseldorf! In additional, the staff was really helpful and breakfast had a good selection of eveyrthing!

The hotel is a stone throw away from the Dusseldorf station which makes it very convenient. There are lots of food options nearby. Just avoid being out too late on the night as some anti-social elements can be seen near the train station (away from the hotel). The hotel does not have a room service or dining option so make sure to carry some snacks or food for a late night snack. Toiletries are to be picked from the reception but slippers are paid (3 EUR a pair) so carry yours if you need one. No water bottles or mini fridge in the room. Tap water need to be filled form the washroom to drink (not very practical). The breakfast has a nice spread but its the same options everyday which can get to be a bit boring. Also the restaurant space is small so coming in before 9am helps. Overall the hotel is nice, clean and well maintained and quiet. The staff are also super nice and helpful.

It would be nice to have some room service or in house restaurant option. Also the slippers can be provided complimentary as they are in other Hampton hotels in other countries.

The room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. Very close to the central train station within walking distance. The breakfast is great. Reception is helpful in every matter. We are very pleased, thank you.

It takes about half an hour to walk to the riverside and the old city center. If you don't want to walk, you can choose a tram or bus. There are groups of 8-10 people coming to the breakfast room in the morning. They make too much noise. It would be good if a warning was given about this. It is unbearable in the morning hours.

Hilton (including Hamptons) are very much an assured level of expectation. This property maintained it’s high standard. Very very short walk to central train station, and reception is warm and welcoming. Plenty of room to choose somewhere to sit whilst enjoying a drink from the bar. Breakfast was very good. Typical continental, quite similar choices on both mornings, but option to create own waffles was a nice touch (although quite a treat on the hips first thing!). Coffee machines for self serve at breakfast too. No English Breakfast Tea, just flavoured and Earl Grey. Beds comfortable, bedding clean, bathroom well equipped, and plenty of shower consumables (really no need to bring your own). Shower super powerful. Fresh towels and a clean supplied each day. Staff very nice in all areas. Very quiet in rooms, and nice aurora in lobby. Quite isolated outside and walk to station (unfortunately many beggars outside) so would advise to walk in pairs. Secure and safe, and great option to access room from Hilton App rather than keycard. Approx €10 euro to Alstadt and RhineTower areas.

We were in Room 119, and booked for 3 people. Unfortunately, when the sofa bed is out, most of the room becomes un-usable. Especially the desk/work area and access to the window + curtains. For us, it was a place to rest at night, so didn’t impact us much. And I am sure the property can’t overcome this issue, so is just a heads-up for others booking a ‘family room’. We felt a little cramped, but was passable for the 2 nights we stayed. This was the only thing that we felt disappointed by.

Hotel is located next to Dusseldorf Banhof which was perfect for our short stay in Dusseldorf to attend the Taylor Swift concert in Gelsenkirchen. We chose this hotel due to location to central train station which made travelling to concert very easy. Room was small but very comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We arrived on early flight that morning and our room was made available to us straight away which was a bonus. It allowed us to have a shower and nap after our early morning flight. Staff were friendly and curtious. Breakfast was standard european affair, I only had a cup of tea and toast but my daughter loved the pancake station!

Breakfast finished at 10:30am but be prepared for them to start taking food away straight away. We only arrived down at 10:25am and by time I got my daughters breakfast back to the table, there was no time for me to take anything from buffet as most of food was lifted up by staff. Just make sure you get there in plenty of time before 10:30am.

Amazing location if you are coming to the city with train. Lot's of places to eat around. Decent breakfast in mornings. Helpful staff. If you are checking out want to leave your luggage with the hotel, they are helping you in that regard as well

Rooms could have at least paper slippers. It is not very clean to step around in toilet and shower and go back to bed again. Also there was no mini fridge in the room as well. You can share your phone screen with the TV in the room, but all TV's have same name. Change names of the tv's to room numbers.

Very good location, almost next door to the train and underground. Lots of shops and cafes/restaurants around. I had read it was a dangerous neighbourhood but it was fine, yes there were some homeless and drunks around but which city centre aren’t there. The room itself was small but then it’s a budget hotel so what does one expect? But it was very well managed space wise so it was easy to move around and we even managed to fit our suitcases. The staff were extremely helpful from storing our luggage when we arrived before check in time, to guiding us on how to get around to helping me find the right places and shops to shop at.

A no frills hotel so no amenities, etc. I think what I missed was water, there was no water even on day one, that should change. The only other thing I “minded” was there check in time which was 3 pm!

The cleanliness - I love the rooms! Although Hampton by Hilton's rooms are the same in every location I've been to in Europe, it's always been clean! The beds are GREAT and I love there's an ironing board, I can iron my clothes for work and there's a luggage rack. The staff: wonderful every time! Thank you Niklas for changing my room when the tv wouldn't work and everything was uncomplicated.

The breakfast: in Düsseldorf and the UK - why is it so 'hodge podge'?

Great location next to central station. Friendly staff. Clean, spacious room with good soundproofing. Room cleaned and new towels supplied after first night which was a great surprise!

The only real negative was the lift. Only one was working and this was also used by cleaning staff stopping at various floors. The wait times were so long that I chose to take the stairs to the 6th floor every time. At least it kept me fit! Breakfast was fine but the food area was quite small and congested for influx of guests at peak times.

Breakfast was great, huge variety and plenty of options for everybody. Staff was friendly and helpful. The fitness center was very good, with plenty of equipment ranging from weight lifting possibilities to cardio even a peloton bike. Cleanliness was perfect. Quiet rooms.

The location, the possibilites of moving around was good but the neighborhood was a bit edgy. The room was certainly too small for three people, I had to work in the lobby but facilities were good there, just the lack of privacy for holding meetings.
