The room was very pretty and spacious and the bed was super comfortable not too hard and not too fluffy. The driveway to the location is kind of private so it was a quiet and peaceful stay the value was great and it is very close to a lot of really nice places. Lots of great food in the area and you can’t hear your neighbors at all. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

When we arrived the door to our room was opened 3pm but we didn’t think much of it because the trash was empty the room appeared clean and everything looked to be in place, the bedsheets were tidy and taught. There was a USED CONDOM in between the mattress and bed frame so did we actually get clean sheets? The world will never know. Also the following morning house keeping attempted to clean at 10am one hour before checkout.

I loved the jacuzzi it was awesome, the water fall and the lights; also it stays open all night and the front desk guy was really cool. The rooms were clean and spacious and had everything we needed they were updated and cute I loved all the mirrors especially the one with the ring light I took a bunch of cute pictures, the little balcony is cool too if u get upstairs room.

I didn’t like how old the fridge was it was rusty, but it was big. The coffeemaker had stains other than that everything was great.

Very nice room, felt comfortable. Has a coffee machine, small nice balcony and in a good location.

There was no curtain in the shower. When we wanted to check out there was no one in the reception for at least 15 minutes. So we stayed in the area for some shopping and checked out later on. It caused us a little delay. The receptionist told us afterwards that we could just leave without checking out...

Loved the location the room was clean and the beds were comfy the mirrors were a nice touch they were spacious and I love that both the rooms I reserved had a fridge and a microwave the pool and hot tub was nice as well loved the key only access to the rooms s d pool area big plus

The hot tip had hot spots would have loved for it to be super hot all over and the hallway light looked like they have not been cleaned in a while there were large cob webs and the carpet in the hallway was a little dingy

Clean comfortable and for the most part quiet. The bed and pillows were nice, huge mirror in the room came in handy since we were there for an event. Things got a little loud during check-outs and maid service but otherwise very quiet for a hotel.

A few young guys partying above us, which was annoying but was extremely annoying when one of the hungover guys the next morning decided to be sick off their balcony right where our door opened up to, not the hotels fault but disappointing to say the least. Only real downside to the hotel itself is not too many restaurants near the location.

The hotel was a bit outdated but that was okay,( I dug on the art Decco 70’s style!)it diffinatley served its purpose! Very comfortable! Slept like a rock!

OMG… The coffee! Since they didn’t serve continental breakfast or extras like coffee in lounge, they should have better quality coffee in room. It was like drinking water! A big turnoff 😑.

larger than average sized room and styled in a modern fashion. Easy check in. parking is provided, no extra charges. Room was quite and the ac wasn't too noisy like some other places I've stayed at.

our room was on the 2nd floor and there were no elevators. soup, and shampoo provided but no conditioner.

I enjoyed the hot tub area— super colorful and warm with great jets and a nice waterfall for ambience. The pool/spa was open until around 10pm and we wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms were beautiful with a microwave & fridge — my partner and I bought a loaf of bread from the Thursday night SLO farmers market as well as this bomb garlic sauce and used both the microwave and fridge to enhance and store both products! The bed was pretty large and comfortable, but I would have liked thicker blankets. I enjoyed the wood/laminate flooring compared to carpet like most hotels as well.

There was an immediate smell of weed in the hallway and when we turned on the vent in the bathroom for our shower, the weed smell filtered into our room very strongly for the next hour. When we were back from the hot tub around 10pm, we called the front desk for some towels and the guy refused but we eventually got them around 10-15 min later. The staff who gave us our towels seemed very uninterested and annoyed that we asked for towels even though we only asked for extra after one night because there was no pool towels provided in the spa area. Also, I wish there was conditioner instead of just shower gel, shampoo, and lotion.

The phrase “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover,” couldn’t be more apropos regarding this hotel. We were not expecting what we found inside. First off, the accommodations were very modern and sleek. The bed and pillows were comfortable. This room had all the normal practicalities like a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board, but it also had a wine cooler - a great addition being in the heart of wine country. The television was larger than most hotels we’ve visited in SLO and the channel selection had everything for mom and dad, not to mention the kids. The swimming area was also an incredible surprise. The pool was larger than most and the surrounding area had picnic tables and bbq pits. The hot tub looked like it could hold twenty people and even had a section that was only one foot deep, should you want to just relax your feet. And while the location is a few minutes from downtown, it’s also away from the hustle and bustle of such. The local Costco and Target are close by should you need gas or amenities. Negatives? It takes four or five minutes for the water to heat up in the shower. Once we realized that, we simply turned on the water a few minutes before showering. Other positives? In a post Covid world, every hotel we have stayed at only offers maid service if we request it. Imagine our surprise when we returned to our room and it had been refreshed?!! Everyone we came into contact with were very friendly and smiling. Overall, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that we will be returning to this location. The value is tremendous and far beyond what we expected. And while the outside of the building may make one assume it is an ordinary, decades old hotel, I feel sorry for those that would observe this book’s cover and skip reading its story.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was fun for my grandkids.

I feel they could update the inside and outside of the lobby.
