The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety and food was good.

You need to review the roll in showers and shower curtains. I didn't need a handicapped accessible room or shower. It just popped up when I reserved the room online. I was in room 100. The flexible shower handle comes out of the side wall but the shower is mounted on the end wall, so I had to keep hose under my arm. The curtain rod is curved, and the curtain is flowy which lets a lot of water flow out of the shower. Most of the floor was wet including my clothes. I've seen accessible showers with the traditional plastic curtain and a straight rod to create a partial seal with the floor. The wet floor was very slippery.

Amber and KatieLee(sp?) are awesome! Amber was welcoming and accommodating. She graciously answered any questions I had about the inn. The toilet in the room we were given had an issue, and the maintenance person wasn't available at that moment to repair it. So KatieLee changed our room. She was good at communicating updates about when the new room would be ready. Overall, the staff worked hard at helping the guests. And the hallways were clean too! There were no bad odors when you walked in, which is nice because I have a sensitive sense of smell.

The building is showing wear and tear like mismatched spot repairs and torn screens. I hope the owners step up to take care of the little things now and keep it looking clean and cohesive. Otherwise, it's going in the same direction as some of the rundown competitors. Also, the pillows are not comfortable. They were toooooooo soft.

I love how easy and convenient It is to book and get a room when needed at last minute. Also, I don’t know her name, but she has purple hair and she is a sweetheart and is awesome. There was a lot of people at breakfast complaining about how food was not available but mind you there was a lot of people at breakfast and when you have over 5 to 6 families or couples eating breakfast, food does tend to go out, but she makes sure that food is always available even if it runs out. Plus she’s always in good spirits and always has an amazing attitude 🥰

Wasn’t much to not like

We've stayed at a number of Sleep Inns, in particular the one in Allendale, Michigan next to GVSU. Whereas you aren't getting the same kind of room that you would at, say, a Marriott, you do get a comfortable room at half the price. Our king bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well and were rested the next morning, which is all you can ask. The morning continental breakfast was fine, not great, but what you would expect from a meal that comes with the room. All in all, what we expect from a Sleep Inn, no matter where we stay, which is comforting on the road.

I've stayed at a lot of economy hotels right off the interstate in Michigan, and this one is hands down the best I've been to. It's perfectly located right off the highway, clean, feels safe, and has well appointed rooms and a good continental breakfast. All while being reasonably priced. Will be booking again in the future!

My only complaint is with the order-inn food they advertise in the rooms. I ordered from the restaurant in the listing, and the food was overpriced and not good. The restaurant is not affiliated with Sleep Inn, so it's not the hotel's fault, but I'd avoid ordering from them!

we were doing a "road trip" vacation. This was one of the many places we stopped. It was in a good location, just off the highway, the check in process was seamless, the room was clean. If we planned to stay longer, I would have booked a larger room but this one filled our requirements to get a good nights' sleep

Breakfast was great! Cereal, eggs, breads Bagels, yogurt and even sausage gravy! Room was small but we didn't mind because the bed was amazing. Great shower pressure. On demand movies watched some newer ones.

Not much. Little nit picky things as I've been traveling since I was a kid. Great stay, sweet staff, warm food.

I look for the basics when I travel. I have stayed here a couple of times. The freeway access is great. The staff, rooms and amenities have all satisfied everything I look for. The hotel is great value.

I had a wonderful experience. As soon as you walk in, the first thing you notice is how clean it smelled. They were always cleaning and moping. The rooms were clean and spacious. The manager was so sweet, kind, and very accommodating. Pam's breakfast was so delicious! I will definitely be staying there again!

The "owner/manager " who was on duty Jan 11 when we checked in was AWESOME! We LOVED her stories/shares! Would have enjoyed seeing her and chatting with her again.

We had some hot water fluctuations the first 2 days. They resolved themselves so not a complaint. It was just SO COLD the entire time, it would have been comforting to KNOW the hot water was plentiful.
