The staff was GREAT! super friendly. We were able to check in at 2 instead of 3 the room was huge and the beds are firm but very comfortable. The shower was great! Great water pressure and hot water and the shower curtain curves out so you have plenty of room when showering. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room which was super convenient to keep our toddlers Milk and warm bottles up for naps and bedtime. The location is great, short distance to sullivan island and not far from Folly. The breakfast had tons of options and it was pretty quiet while we were there, not a bunch of noise in the hallways or anything it was very peaceful.

location location location. patriots point is for business people and families. the hotel is across the street from a golf coarse and next to the uss yorktown. lots to do and about a mile down the street is shem creek boardwalk, on the water restaurants and bars. i had lots of seafood and my friend had steaks and porkchops. we went to downtown and it was about a 10 min drive going opposite of rush hour traffic. the breakfast was a full hot breakfast, it was wonderful to get everyone started. i will stay here again.

the pool was a little small but very refreshing but no hot tub. we really didnt have alot of time to enjoy this, we were so busy having fun. im not sure if there was a workout area, im thinking there was but i know i didnt use that....too much crab and shrimp

The property was very convenient to downtown Charleston, yet far enough to be nice and quiet. Unfortunately, I was in South Carolina, not for fun, but to visit three of my family members who were hospitalized with serious injuries, following a terrible car wreck while they were on vacation. The trip was stressful for sure, but our stay at Comfort Inn was a bright spot. Big shout out and thanks to Jonas at the front desk! He is such a kind, comforting soul. And thanks to the rest of the staff for their hard work and yummy breakfast. Happy to say my relatives are healing and back home in Kentucky. I hope to visit South Carolina again under much better circumstances!

It was all good.

We were able to change our room to the top floor and it was really quiet. It had a separate area for relaxing and watching TV, as well as a TV across from the beds. Slept well every night of our stay -- a near miracle for us. Breakfast was very good with nice amenities like Greek yogurt. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The location was great, too -- close to the areas of interest to us.

Really the only thing that I would change would be to get a better coffee machine for the breakfast area. They have one where you press a button to get mild, medium, or dark coffee. Well, the kindest thing I can say is that those buttons just tell the machine how much coffee syrup to mix in with your hot water. It would be worth the investment to get one of those new machines you see in some gas stations where there are several types of whole coffee beans stored on the top and you choose from these. The beans are ground fresh when you make your selection. We highly recommend this upgrade.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was excellent! Best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. The grits were the best I’ve had. Great location. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

It was a little dated and the hallways could be cleaner. They were also warm and humid. The bathrooms are a little small and the bathroom fan didn’t work so it would stay humid in the bathroom.

Lovely spacious suite but sadly a very small window and no view. The room felt dark and the A/C had a damp smell. The breakfasts were the best yet! The staff were lovely and the room was cleaned and restocked daily. There is a laundry room (great for people like us on longer trips) and ice machine etc. A short car journey to lots of supermarkets.

There was no drinking water provided either at breakfast or in the room. The water from the taps was sooo warm it was not drinkable.

This is our second time staying at this property because it’s perfect for our needs. Our room this time was even more spacious than our first go-round, with added seating that’s always appreciated when traveling with a family. We also love that breakfast is included (both hot and cold) and that there is always fresh fruit in the lobby by the elevator. I also appreciate the fact that there is coin laundry so I can wash and dry everything after a day at the beach. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

The small squared pillows on the bed are an interesting choice, and not necessarily a good one. I think we complained about this last time we were here as they are just so small and flat. The wifi is okay, not great.

The breakfast was really nice and provided a lot of options. The staff was very friendly and they offered homemade punch and fresh fruit two of the days we stayed. The lobby and parking are nice and the staircase up to the second floor gives it a more homey feel. We also liked the location between Charleston and Isle of Palms.

The rooms felt damp and our clothes felt damp. Even the toilet paper. We visited in July so a lot of humidity in the air. Other family who stayed on another floor said the same thing. Not sure if there is a way to dehumidify the rooms? There was also a strong pesticide smell which made it hard to sleep the first night.

For the most part, everything was great for the cost. Loved the location, clean room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. I would have appreciated a vent fan in the bathroom. The lady who prepared breakfast was a little intimidating and surly. Our room, 228, faced the road, and sometimes the motorcycles and cars got a little too loud. We enjoyed our stay and will try to stay with you again. Thank you 😊 💓.
