We stayed in a standard garden view room which was actually more spacious than we expected. Nice and quiet at night and bed was very comfortable.

Just a couple of minor things could have improved our experience - Suggest it would be more efficient for guests to not have to queue at reception for pool towels, surely there could just be a separate line or system to speed things up. Our room had a fridge which was great to keep our drinks and snacks cold. Suggest it would be nice to have at least a plate or even small chopping board to prepare our snacks on, plus some basic cutlery.

Easy check in and check out. Staff were amazing. Our room was on pool side and had views of the beach, perfect size for a family of 2 adults and 1 child. Beds were soft and comfy. Shower over bath, great pressure on the shower. Pool and spa were amazing, towels provided. We joyed a semi game of tennis, tennis racquets and balls provided. Loads of parking. The best part of our stay was the food. OMG the food was amazing, from dinner to desserts, to room service and the breakfast buffet had everything you could have wanted, has been the best food we have ever had at any motel/hotel/resort.

Stayed in one of the non-renovated room with Sea View which is quite outdated. It wasn’t super clean unfortunately either. There were 3 flies greeting me on my arrival, flying around the room. Also couple black hairs in the bath and white clean towel. My previous stay couple months ago in the renovated room was much more enjoyable.

Rooms style felt like home. Nice garden outlook with patio and outdoor furniture. Comfortable bedding.

Facilities should be checked by housekeeping every day. The toilet cistern constant ran emptying the bowl so there was no water when you needed to flush. Had to remove cistern lid to stop the constant running of water and lift the mechanism. Floor could’ve been vacuumed and checked better… debri left around the carpet along with a large shard of broken glass under the table and chairs. No cutlery inc even a spoon for hot drinks or a simple knife to slice Camembert for inside snacks before dinner etc. overall and otherwise happy.

Beautiful surroundings, esp the pool area, and the large grassy areas and palm trees by the sea, felt like we were in Fiji! Friendly staff, especially Malinda at reception, everyone we encountered was friendly. Loved hearing the tui birds singing in the trees at the property. The outdoor bar area was lovely and nice bar snacks.

We were in a twin bed room, the beds weren’t comfortable and also were a bit too small for two people to share although it was advertised as being suitable for two adults and two kids. There was an old used plaster in the shower when we checked in that the cleaners hadn’t removed.

The breakfast buffet was our favorite part of the stay 🤤 my partner loved the spa, he had just worked 10 days straight on the farm and really needed the relaxing environment of the spa, beds and breakfast that Copthorne provided. Absolutely loved our stay 😍

That we couldn't plug an hdmi into the tv, we planned to enjoy playing our nintendo through the TV together. Also some of the channels on the tv were static and wouldn't work. (Channels worked no problem for me in another room the weekend prior to this stay)

Beautiful location with park like feel. Rooms were clean and tidy. Swimming pools were great and open late, which was awesome as we arrived later in the evening. Had dinner and breakfast, which was both buffet - dinner was disappointing but it was later in the evening for the buffet, should have ordered off menu, some of those meals looked great. Breakfast was great and plenty to have.

What an amazing place. There is no need to go to town with Restaurant there for breakfast, lunch,dinner. And the spa pool was great, too. The staff were so helpful, and the service was awesome. Thank you, my friend, and I enjoyed 😉 ourselves.

They could have a ramp instead of staircase Especially? With the older people with leg or knee problems and using a suitcase on wheels, it's very hard. I know they had a ramp, but it was too far away from our room entrance. But other than that, it is an awesome place.

The pool area is fabulous. We were there in the cyclone, but we did walk around in the storm to have a look and it would be super awesome on a normal beautiful day.

The weather. We had to switch rooms due to a leak in the carpet (we think the shower leaked through the floor to the carpet in the room - it wasnt a leak from the roof). There was also a fire alarm evacuation. In both instances the staff were exceptional, so it really wasnt a bother and just unfortunate for everyone with the weather.

Great location. Great buffet in restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.

I had requested to have two rooms next to each other (as we were travelling with kids and grandparents) three times prior to our arrival. When we got there we found out our rooms weren’t next to each other and felt like staff didn’t show that they cared much. They did offer some rooms up the stairs next to each other but there was no lift and as travelling with young children we had alot of stuff. No help up the stairs was offered. Whole situation didn’t ruin out stay but I was definitely a little frustrated.
