- We loved how the room was very spacious and most of the amenities were available and functioning well. - The staffs were exceptionally great. All those whom I interacted with were just awesome. - Services were super fast. - They even had different type of pillow options (hard or soft).

- It would have been better if there was an iron prepared in the room itself. - The TV programs were a downside cause there were very limited options. I would suggest to add Netflix, Amazon and Disney Hotstar options.

Room was bigger than expected. Clean, including facilities such as gym and swimming pool. Staffs were all very kind and helpful. Excellent service! Wide selection for breakfast including chinese, local (nasi lemak), western, continental and kitchen where they whipped up different types of eggs upon request, plenty of fruits & salad. They even had local teh tarik and coffee apart from the machine ones. Nothing exceptional though. They have a seafood buffet on friday and saturday. Though i didn't get to try, it looks value for money. Only issue is probably the dining room which was not clean promptly. We decided to change table once when the spotlight was too strong and found the other table with food crumbs still on the table. And another occasion with ants on the table.

Booked the suite, good pricing for the size. Location is good - near to town but not smack right in the middle of it. Hotel is in fairly good condition, no signs of needing refurbishment or anything just yet.

Breakfast was fairly simple - not a dealbreaker for me, but for those who enjoy a hearty spread for brekkie, you won't find it here. For the parking, you have to drive up seven levels. Not a deal breaker for me too, but might be annoying for some. The toilets were clogged and leaking. I only stayed one night, so didn't make a big deal out of it.

Great to get to StraitsQuay The staff were amazing and the price for the room and very good breakfast was really good.

The bed was too hard for for both of us and we woke up in the morning with aching backs.So much so that I had to go and buy a small foam portable single mattress from the lotus store across the road, which made the bed bearable . The staff were wonderful and tried their best to add extra comfort but nothing worked. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t stay there again , unless I bought a memory foam topper with me.😄

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Excellent value for money overall.

Wi-fi was a bit patchy. More options are needed to cater to different dietary requirements or allergies (and they should be marked clearly). For example, non-dairy milk or yoghurt, and gluten-free bread would be nice at the breakfast buffet.

Nice bath tub, good room size, superb unbelievable fast lift, I think nobody can contest this. Sufficient variety in breakfast food. Aircon also cool enough.

Hotel premise parking only at level 3 (usually full - not the whole level 3 is hotel parking), then have to travel to 6A - 7B for parking. It takes up quite some time if you travelling in and out frequently. Other levels are taken by Jazz Residence which 90% of them are empty. Hopefully hotel management can get a better deal for lower floors parking. There's two section of traffic jam coming out from this hotel to gurney plaza or Georgetown. So it takes about 30min to go any place.

The owner saved a lot on the quality of the bathroom finishing. The idea was good, but they entrusted it to very unprofessional people. As a result; the quality of the facing walls in this one is very poor.

The location is excellent. Hotel just opposite to Lotus and 5 minute walk to Strait Quay Mall. Downstairs has pharmacy, restaurant and Happy mart which is convenient to hotel customers. Staffs working there is friendly and their service is excellent. Price is consider cheap if compare to those hotel with same rating/ service. Worth it

I had a wonderful stay at Jazz Hotel in Penang. The hotel furnishings were absolutely beautiful and incredibly comfortable, making our stay feel extra luxurious. The check-in process was fast and hassle-free, which set a great tone for the rest of the trip. Our room was spacious and well-designed, with a bathtub that made the stay even more relaxing. To top it off, they even provided a complimentary bath bomb – such a thoughtful touch! We also had a stunning view of the beach, and it was just perfect to wake up to. The location was easy to find, and there was ample parking available, which added to the convenience. Overall, a fantastic experience – I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Penang.

I didn’t like that the water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the hot water ran out quickly. The room only had a chiller instead of a proper fridge, which wasn’t ideal. There weren’t many channels available on the TV, and we couldn’t plug in an HDMI cable to connect our own device. I also didn’t like that we couldn’t control the air conditioning properly – it would sometimes get too cold or too warm and couldn’t be adjusted.
