Beautiful infinity pool. Very quiet with nice views of the ocean. 15 minute walk to the beach.

There is nothing not to like about this property.

The pool is perfect. Rooms are very nice and comfortable

Electricity went off twice in the area so it was hard to sleep with the heat those two times. Cleaning can improve, should be done every other night.

Design

The owner, Emily, was very friendly when we met her. And to her credit, she was available on whatsapp for any question we had. The room does have a nice view.

First of all, the location is not easily accessible, which should have been specified. It's in an area that is still being developed, so very difficult to arrive unless you have a car. When we got there, there was no clear indication of where to go (i.e., a reception desk) and we sort of had to figure out who the owner was (they were hanging out, drinking by the pool). The pool was kind of dirty, to be fair to them this was after a heavy hurricane/thunderstorm week, but by then it had passed and should have been cleaned. Even though we asked for the wifi and the owner was quick to respond with the network/password, it never worked. So we had no internet access. The cleaning personnel did not do our room the first day, and it was only after we complained and asked about this that they cleaned our room for our last day. But most egregiously, as you can see on the photos, the place is essentially STILL IN CONSTRUCTION! Parts of the pool facilities were still in active construction, there were building materials all over the place, and the paint used on the ceiling of our room was a very cheap material which was flaking off constantly. This left a white powder/dust all over the room, and especially over the kitchen and stove.

No staff on site. I arrived late in the evening (and I told them that I would), but no one was there to have the room ready for m. No clean towels. Could not access wi-fi because no one around to tell me the password. Poor cell service, so without cell and wi-fi, I was essentially unable to communicate with anyone. I spent one night there (because I had no choice at that point) and then moved to another hotel. A truly awful experience.
