huge rooms, excellent location, pleasant staff, strong A/C, swimming pool, I have stayed here couple of times and would stay here again

no reading lamp next to bed, room 415, no fridge, not even a minifridge, no hot water in the afternoon -only in the morning and after 19:00

There was room to park right in front of the entrance to the hotel, to unload, etc. Regular parking was not far & appeared very secure. There was an elevator! Which of course made it much easier to get all our bags up to the room. The room was regular size, not big not too small. A/C worked very good. Hot water in the shower was perfect. Breakfast was good, and there were FREE REFILLS ON COFFEE!! Yay! Would have been nice if b-fast was included, but can't complain because the price of the hotel was great. Also beds were very comfortable.

No coffee maker or mini fridge in the room. Which was not terrible but would've been nice. That's about it!

The location was central to the main plaza (about two blocks down and one block over). The AC worked well. There is a nice, central garden and the small pool goes to a depth of 2.5 meters. The hotel is kept clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's very safe.

It is a little out-dated, but that was fine with us. The pictures of the exterior might make you believe it was built in the last 10 years. The hotel was actually built in the late 60s or early 70s. The bathroom is somewhat tight. The WIFI is very unreliable. Also, the breakfast is definitively 'continental'. Some pictures they've posted might make you believe it contains protein. That's not the case. It's toast, coffee, juice or a plate of sliced fruit, and cold cereal with milk. There is a small produce and flowers market a block away that offers simple breakfasts if that's what you'd prefer.

Great hotel -first of all, value for money, excellent location (3 cuadras from the main square) and very near Mercado de Santiago where one can have good breakfast (opens at 7:00), lovely spacious and luminous room with huge windows, A/C worked well, bathroom was fine, hot water pressure ok and water was hot, nice swimming pool, very accommodating and pleasant staff, have stayed here 3 times before and will definitely stay again

A little fridge in the room would be very handy, A/C worked well, but it is very old and a bit noisy, a bed lamp would be nice

The ubication last year stayed in this hotel with a wonderful service that why decided to stay again. The lady in the restaurant is amazing

They don’t supply towels, bathroom paper, and never clean the room.

It was 10 min walk from ADO station and walking distance to the historical center and many wonderful restaurants and coffee places. Merida was very safe, friendly staff who also arranged the taxi to the airport for us. The internet in the room was good. We have the view over the city. There was air-conditioning and hot water. Comfy beds.

Miguel at the desk was fantastic. Made me feel welcome and comfortable. I had the fruit plate with yogurt and it was all I could expect. I enjoyed the views from the upper floors, and while the pool looked inviting, I didn't use it.

There really wasn't much to dislike - no open windows in the room, but the Air Con worked well. I actually prefer an open window with a fan if I had my druthers. But if you like a cool - cold room, that could be in the room I was assigned.

I liked the staff and generally entire property is very nice especially outdoors siting area etc and location it's good. Close to city center and restaurants. Value also great.

Well, it says 4 star hotel...no way...it was 4 star hotel maybe 20 years ago...3 stars definitely

Stayed on the first floor without the need to use any of the broken elevators.
