We have stayed at dozen of hotels and this was on the top of the list of best stays ever. Staff was very hospitable and they were there for every need of us. Money exchange to laundry, everything was perfect. No matter what time it was, even mid night they prepared our orders quick as possible. The breakfast was healthy and delicious too.. And after all the bar was the best! we enjoyed the fire pit very much. We had an opportunity to experience the best cocktails and shots we ever had. Mr. Sujath, who is also working at the rooftop bar at Arushii boutique, knew the best way to treat younger costumers and he entertained us very well with his abilities and experience at the bar. He was also one of the reason we stayed more than a week at the hotel. The security staff was very helpful and full of smiles too.

One or two staff were not good and they seem to be working for a long time, but the drinks the specific man made for us at the bar was not tasty and he didn't know how to treat their customers. He didn't want the customers to stay at the rooftop bar for a long time. And that bartender tend to treat white guys more than the others. When we saw him working at the roof top lounge, we made sure not to order anything and to leave the bar. But SUJATH was totally the opposite, and he treated us very well. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SUJATH. And also sometimes the cleaning service, had removed our room slippers without asking and hadn't replaced even we asked them to. And sometimes they had threw our papers (may be they misunderstood those as thrash) But they were not big issues.

My stay at this hotel was an absolute joy from start to finish. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for my entire experience. The staff's friendliness and willingness to cater to my needs made me feel like a valued guest. My experience at this hotel exceeded all expectations. It's a destination that takes hospitality to a whole new level. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in luxury and relaxation.

This place is all about service and the customer’s comfort. I was lucky to get a great deal on the 8th floor penthouse which was a marvelous room. Great bedding, good A\C, and in room refrigerator. Morning breakfast buffet service was augmented by a great server, Sunil. Evenings at the 7th floor bar were also perfect with food and drinks delivered by Rabin. He makes a Negroni that any bar in NYC would be proud of. All the staff, super attentive and always inquiring about your needs and comfort.

Not a problem of the hotel, but there is a loud club behind them that can remain open long into the wee hours. Bring earplugs if you are super sensitive to that.

Breakfast was really great, lots of yummy choices and freshly made. Also, the staff were all super friendly, a special mention to Robin the great barman at the awesome rooftop bar, and a very special mention about Apsara, the lady on reception who was super friendly and very very helpful. I would stay here again anytime.

Unfortunately - not through fault of the hotel - there is a very noisy bar/restaurant located at the back-side of the hotel which on weekends can go all night (unfortunately we got a weekend) - the hotel management have been on to the owners of the bar to rectify this problem, so hopefully they sort that out and are more respectful about the loud music and not have it playing until 5am in the morning.

Comfortably stay, close to all the main places in Thamel. We ended up staying for a total of 7 nights it was so lovely here. The staff were extremely helpful and were very accommodating with a packed breakfast for when we needed to get up early to start a tour. They also have a small gym in the hotel which features two treadmills, cross trainer and some weights (which i found hard to find in Kathmandu). Food in the restaurant was very tasty. Great complimentary breakfast selection available. Will be recommending to all friends and family for the future.

The location was great! In the heart of Thamel, but on a back alley street. The rooms were clean and beautiful with balconies. Should be noted the rooftop bar as well as the food in general at this hotel was great - we ate dinner here all 3 nights. Front desk was helpful and arranged many taxis for us.

We stayed on the backside of the hotel and unfortunately every night we could definitely hear club music as well as an incessantly barking dog (neither of which was the hotels fault!) I would recommend potentially asking for a room on the front side if you want it quieter, but this also might just be the way it is in Thamel.

Our stay at the Arushi boutique hotel was absolutely amazing! The location is very central but you won't be disturbed by outside noises so it's very convenient if you want to reach all the popular destination in short time and have a goodnight rest. The staff is very helpful and kind, we felt very welcomed. The bedroom was super clean and very well organised. Definitely a true gem hotel in Kathmandu, 100% recommend!

A modern, characterful small hotel in a nice quiet part of Thamel. It's within easy walking distance of restaurants & shops but down a quiet side street, so has privacy. The room we had (not even a suite) was very spacious, with a king & single bed, chairs & a table, storage, bath & shower. We were spoiled for space! Staff were very professional in reception. Breakfast served very good varied options over our 3 days - hot & cold, plenty of local fruit, pastries etc & we didn't manage to try everything by the end. We were given a very nice picnic breakfast box for our early departure day when we were collected before breakfast started, & even given coffee to take away in lidded cups. Thank you! We loved the roof top bar: the view towards Swaybunath (the monkey temple) & over the lights of Katmandhu was great. Cocktails every night, with the brazier lit as it was early spring, was lovely before we headed out for dinner. We ate in the restaurant one night & the food was very good & the menu varied. The outdoor plunge pool (unheated so I did not use in in February but we saw someone enjoy it after their sauna) is a very attractive feature on the roof. The cheery multi-coloured lights draped round the egde of the rooftop give it a very cheery vibe. Great place & good value for high quality accommodation in Thamel. Highly recommended!

As in all of Nepal, wine is very pricey as it's imported. Be careful to check what you are bieng served if you order wine. We thought we had asked for glass of house wine & were served - & charged for - a much pricier wine. Stick to cocktails or local beers! It saves an awkward moment.

The location was perfect as it was a 2-5min walk to reach the central area for shopping and dining! The staff was exceptional as they were very friendly and always ready to help. The rooftop/bar area is super cute and it was lovely to swim and eat dinner there.
