Great breakfast

The price on booking.com showed a discount when I was looking, but then we ended up paying about $75 aus more than expected. I made a query at reception, but the manager was curt and suggested we could cancel if we weren't happy. He wasn't friendly and was quite dismissive. I didn't like the smell of cigarette smoke wafting up from the bar downstairs- (we were on the first floor). This happened every time we opened our windows for 'fresh air'. This was disappointing.

Breakfast was not so attractive but I would say okay. Had choice of Indian and continental. The contents were just paratha, chatni and curd with tea/cofee, corn flakes and juice.

Cleanliness could have been better especially the room smell. It was not dirty per se but was smelling of old clothes/dust. Some room freshner would have helped. Bathroom shower pod had no barrier and water was flowing all over the floor. This could have been managed with a barrier and different drainage system.

The breakfasts were filling and tasty, although sometimes a little slow to arrive. Masala tea was a bonus every morning! Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was sometimes slow to arrive and occasionally orders were mixed up. Milk or cups for coffee would run out and we had to find a waiter to tell him. Staff were all friendly, but service in this regard has room for improvement.

The Time which I arrived till departure the service was incredible.The big assets of this hotel is staff.They are so kind and helpful, never say no,always smile on face,All of them speak so professionally which I Love it. It was second time to stay in this property, Location is perfect,food was tasty plus the bartender recommended me good cocktail 🍹 which I like it. I will definitely come next year again on December.

Everything was perfect

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The receptionist was really lovely. The location was perfect for me and my 5 year old son…. in the heart of Thamal but hidden away in a little dude street so we had peace and quiet at night time. The super king size bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We loved the quaint rooftop too. with stunning plants. I was so impressed and shocked when the hotel said we only had to pay for what we stayed - this never happens with booking.com. and it was only because of the distance to our friends location that we cut our stay short. So any hotel that offers this service will definitely get a high rating from me and I will be booking this hotel again.

Too far from our friends in Balkot, Bhaktapur and we had to get too many taxis so decided to go and stay with our friends - this is the only reason we left the hotel early.

the staff treated me like a VIP - what a kind and amazing staff! They fulfilled any extra crazy request of mine as well, without any resistance. The room was spacious, the location was super central, yet hidden away in a side road from Thamel's super noisy streets. Highly recommended, super price/value!

You can see the hotel is a bit older (and NO ELEVATOR!). There could be tiny bits, but the location & staff compensates for everything!

its was amazing stay at in durbar really it was amazing hotel. Staff was so helpful and frank. Room was need and clean. Breakfast was little bit ok but need to improve.

Although it is located in one of the busiest place/area, the location was very comfortable and quite place to stay. The staff were very helpful and also increased our length of time to checkout free of charge for few hrs.

Everything was good but there was no lift in the hotel. we had to climb the stairs with the heavy luggage but thankfully the staff(security guard) helped us carry our baggage to the room. And I found there was no fridge and safety deposit locker in the room as described in the hotel which was bit sad.

Very nice hotel.staff were fantastic rooms were clean great cable TV brekie is good and the bar is nice competitive priced drinks

Nothing bad to say

Hotel location is very convenient, surrounded by a lot of restaurant s, bar s and shops. Very close to Durbar square and Garden of dreams. Taxi available outside of hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff..
