We stayed in Nepal for 40 something days and every time we hit Kathmandu, we stayed here. Did like three separate bookings. Great location, right in the border of Thamel. Staff was nice and helpful. What you get for the price was even more nice. Breakfast was filling. You can leave your stuff there as long as you need if you’re going around Nepal. Rooms were clean, shower was hot. There was air fans which we love as a type of white noise. Great restaurant and coffee place right next to the hotel. Convenience store and pharmacy in front. Great option really.

Kathmandu Refency Hotel exceeded all my expectations. The check-in process was swift and the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. My room was immaculate, featuring a comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a stunning city view. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore local attractions and dining options. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. The service was top-notch, particularly the concierge, who provided excellent recommendations. It’s great value for money, location is close enough to Tamel without being overly noisy - at night the room was quiet. We had a fan which was perfect because it was hot during our stay. Staff are friendly and helpful! Includes breakfast was good too.

Again, for the cost it was good enough. The only comment was that our bathroom in particular had a heavy amount of black mould on the ceiling and walls.

I recently stayed at Kathmandu regency hotel in Kathmandu ,And it was a fantastic experience, the staff give me a warmest welcome and were very polite ,the rooms were clean, comfortable,and well equipped with mordern amenities , The staff ware cute, friendly and very helpful ,The hotel location was convenient easy access to major attraction and public transportation , Everything was perfect..100% recommendable..

Accommodation is great in the city centre, room and bath have correct size. Complete breakfast was delicious and plenty. Staff really friendly, willing to help with all our needs. They were very flexible with the check-in time as we were able to enter earlier to the room and also to leave the backpacks during our trek.

Breakfast was ok, I would have preferred a proper Nepali breakfast! But I am sure most guests are happy with the breakfast.

In the evenings the smoking in the patio and very noisy (even drunken) conversations from the patio were a bit disturbing. I had to close my windows to keep the smoke out and dim the noisy men.

Wonderful staff. Will do anything for the customers. The location is in the main shopping area tourist agencies and All the happening pubs. It’s safe and convenient. The property has a restaurant in the ground floor but open and walled. Food is great.

Only one complaint. The bathroom ventilation opens back into the rooms. I traveled solo so this didn’t matter much to me but if I had someone else in the room then I wouldn’t be happy having to bare the other person’s faeces.
